Beautiful lake-front location, with great rooms overlooking the waterfront. Very comfortable and bright. Close to bars and restaurants. Nice teas in the rooms.

No staff on show other than to give you the key. We didn’t try the cafe downstairs. Nowhere to park bicycles other than in the street outside.

I was upgraded to room 4 with a fabulous view over the lake. Hot water, good internet, quiet. Furnitures, although dated, did not bother me. Free transportation with the local guest card. Good doubled-glassed windows (I could barely hear the works done outside). Big room. No kettle. Special thanks to the cleaning lady who took care of my broken suitcase.

The fridge is loud so take earplugs. Too much light at night.

Really loved the view! It’s a simple but romantic place to stay. Perfect view and great ice cream in the shop below. Plus it’s quieter than you’d expect given the amazing location right on the promenade.

Overnight bike parking not available. Had to put bikes in upstairs room. But appreciated staff’s effort to help our group.

Breakfast was not included however nearby cafes available . We stayed 1 night here as we cycled round the Bodensee. Location is very good, right on the front at Uberlingen, in the heart of the bustling tourist area. Check in is at the cafe downstairs, but was efficient. They don't have parking or bike storage but the receptionist was quick to allow us to keep our bikes on the first floor landing which we appreciated. The room contained a fan, a fridge and a kettle and teabags etc, all of which were appreciated. There was a lake view from the small window in room 6

The room itself was in the attic and, to be honest, was barely suitable for 2. It took a lot of co-ordination moving around to avoid bumping your head or each other and you couldn't sit up in bed, only lie flat! When we checked in , it was apparent how tall my husband is ( 2 meters) and I am not short at at 175cm , so it did feel like a bit of a joke not warning us about the lack of headroom or offering an upgrade, which I would have paid for . For one night it did, but to be honest best avoid room 6! The side door to the hotel was not secure which was a minor concern. Breakfast is not offered. In summary, avoid the roof rooms and perhaps it's an ok place for 1 night, well located for the cycle routes and well located on the lakeside

Great location and views overlooking the lake.

The room looked nothing like the one advertised in the pictures on the website. It was under the eaves with sloped ceilings, had very dark wood panelling and was small for a double room. The furniture was old and overall the room needed a refurbishment.

The room we had was so small, you couldn’t even walk around the bed. There was no room for luggage. We had to climb 4 flights of stairs to get to it, without an elevator.
