A truly wonderful hotel, set in a beautiful location, with well signposted walks in the Black Forest right from the door. The receptionist welcomed us warmly and showed us to a spacious, elegant room with its own balcony. Dinner was excellent, served in a beautiful dining room, as was the breakfast the next morning in the conservatory - every type of healthy option was on offer and the coffee was excellent. The staff were attentive but unobtrusive - my husband went down to the kitchen in the morning and came back with a tray of early-morning tea, most welcome! The whole place was spotlessly clean. On-site parking was an added advantage. We were disappointed we had only one night there, but have promised ourselves a return visit next year.

Absolutely nothing

It’s a very charming hotel surrounded by the forest, you breath fresh air and relax with the the sound of the nature. Staff is very friendly, bedrooms very comfortable and clean, breakfast very good and complete. The sauna and pool area are also very nice, perfect to relax after a hiking day.

I liked everything, the only thing I could suggest is that if people is traveling with their dog you could offer plates for putting their food and water, and in the restaurant offer them water because sometimes they come thirsty from walking outside

A great getaway location for some peace and quiet. The hotel feels homely and the location is very quaint. Perfect for walking and hiking or just relaxing at the the sun roof terrace. Excellent customer service throughout our stay. We'll be back!

The assortment at Breakfast buffet could have been a little better, especially for people with food allergies, gluten sensitivity etc. I was only able to eat eggs and cheese. But it's good for people who can enjoy a normal diet :)

Clean and nice hotel.

A little expensive and the bed in the sleeping room was one big bed With two mattresses, like why you book one of the biggest Suite in the hotel have a Nice Bathroom to only be let down by the bed? One Big Bed and one big mattress not two of them on the same bed you cannot sleep well with your wife or girlfriend, makes no sense to me, that is the -1 for me,the rest was okay.

Very nice hotel, in the middle of the Black Forest. Staff are super nice, the rooms are rather big and confortable and the pool/spa area is a great plus. Also, the restaurant and breakfast are delicious.

There is no phone signal which might be a bit annoying but Wifi was rather ok. I guess it’w the price to pay of being in the middle of nature.

The hotel exceeded our expectations! The location is green and quiet. Ideal for walking and enjoying nature. The hotel lobby is beautifully decorated and has plenty of cosy places to sit down, read and relax. The pool is absolutely great and so is the nicely decorated wellness area. The breakfast area is a spectacular, light and spacious greenhouse. The breakfast selection is also very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back and hope that the restaurant will be open again in the future!

We had the suite. It was lovely and huge. The view was spectacular. The breakfast was great as expected and the staff was helpful even when we showed up 10 minutes early.

We were told quite late that the restaurant was closed in the evening due to staff shortages. Luckily 50 meter below (literally) is another restaurant. The breakfast was a little late for our wishes, but I assume that is just us. 7:30 is normally early enough for most.

When walking, make sure to check opening hours of bars and restaurants!! Carpets on the floor - not great allergies, but not a big issue

Great location and really great breakfast. It was really quiet at night as well and you are right in the middle of the Black Forest. parking was easy as well with plenty of spaces.

Our room was quiet, comfortable and had a nice view of Black forest. Also, breakfast was nice and we tasted the local products. We had dinner twice in the restaurant. The service was nice and food was excellent. Our child really enjoyed to be in the pool. On the whole, we had a great experience and nice walk in the forest there.

It was difficult to connect internet. The signal was too weak.
