Located in the lap of nature, this place is amazing for people who just want a place to crash ( sleep). 30-35 minutes away from Triberg (Famous Black Forest Town), this place has got some amazing forest trek & surroundings. Owner is a good man who will try to help you as much as possible. While the ground floor is under renovation (upcoming restaurant, new reception & kitchen), we could sit outside in evenings ( till past midnight) & had loads of laugh (together with friends) without any issues. Note - Please carry your own toiletries as they are very limited. Also restaurants in nearest small villages will be closed by 2000 - 2100 so be careful with dinners.

Location great, calm/quite/serene. You wake up to the sound of water flowing down the small stream right in front of the hotel. Room size is fantastic with good amenities. Hotel Manager is good too. Did not try hotel breakfast, assuming it would be good as well.

Wi-fi could be better but hotel manager told he that there are lot of access points however still the signal strength was poor. Apart from this, no other complaints.

The bed was quite firm and we had to bring our own fans since the summer heat was quite unbearable. The restaurant is not yet finished.

The hotel is in a stunning location and provides a very warm welcome and excellent service. The rooms are light and well equipped and very comfortable. The hosts are very kind and friendly and always ready to help.

We liked everything about the hotel and staff. The hotel was clean and comfortable, the staff were helpful and friendly. Room was great, with view of creek and valley. Position in the country was great, you have to have transportation to get there, but that is good because your not in town!!

We loved that we could stay in a family suite with our three kids! They had their own room, which made our stay so much more comfortable. The staff was all fabulous, and we had everything we needed. There were plenty of options at breakfast, and we liked being able to make a reservation for that at check in.

It is a bit off the beaten path.

there was a small problem with regards to checkin time. Keeping checkin slot between 1800 till 2000 is bit narrow. However, they do accept other checkin time as well but then it requires calling and intervention

Friendly Owner and breakfast

Whole bottom floor was being renovated, which was not Indicated on the website. Soot and dust and smell was throughout the entire hotel.

Quiet, friendly staff, lots of nice touches. Nice view of the hillside. Several places to walk up the valley. Would stay there again, but would buy things to snack on before arriving.

It was undergoing renovation so not the prettiest hotel. Restaurant was reported closed. It is a bit remote, so no shops nearby.

Cute, quaint hotel. Close to Triberg and Strasbourg so you can easily do day trips. Staff was very pleasant and helpful! We did not have the Luca app installed (to help with Covid tracing) and the owner helped us with that! Hotel has a convenient elevator to help you bring up luggage. Plenty of parking!
