Location was fanstastic. The room was modern, had a great bed and the AC was appreciated. The shower was great-pressure and hot water. Loved the cute little coffee station with 4 pods included. Host met me outside when I arrived at night and showed me around-he was very friendly as was the woman who was cleaning the rooms.
I was in the smallest, least expensive room and it is great but be aware the door to the bathroom opens in and blocks access to the toilet so I had to slightly push into the shower to shut the door and maneuver around to the toilet. This is no problem but if you are a larger person you might have issues with this bathroom (as you might in many small hotels across Europe).

You cannot find a better location. It is at the top of the stairs that everyone wants to Instagram in Plaka, very near everything. We were maybe a 10 min stroll to the Acropolis. You cannot beat the location especially for the price. The room was comfortable and AC was very cold (not a bad thing in the Athens heat!!), everything was clean. The room did not have a view really but this was not a problem since we were out and about.
There were some issues with the plumbing that had us in contact with the owners late at night, and we were not able to use our water that night and the next morning. They fixed the issue immediately the next morning, kudos to them, and accommodated our schedule to do so, but it was a bummer not to be able to shower to get our day started.

The owner and staff are very kind and accommodating! The location is near the Acropolis and walkable to many great restaurants and nightlife. The staff also held my luggage so I could attend events on the day of check out.
Make sure to get a taxi that can travel to this place, or contact the owner to help you schedule one. The first taxi we took from the airport left us about 15 minutes away and it was difficult to walk up to it in the heat with luggage. Although, this is not the fault of the property, just a lesson to be learned. As a side note, all the towels were not clean, but the room definitely was! Only docked 1 point due to the towels, otherwise it was a great stay.

This place should have 6 out of 5 stars. I knew it was close to acropolis but i didn't know it was almost inside acropolis. Literray you walk out of the hotel and walk for a few minutes and arrive to the entrance of acropolis. There is no more convenient location if you are a tourist and want to be close to acropolis as well as resturants and shopping. All focused on tourism. This would probably not be great for a business trip since it's on a hill at the base of acropolis. Great restaurants are within 100 feet but at the same time it's quiet and you don't hear anything. Also if you would like to have dinner at a roof top overlooking acropolis that's only a 10 minute walk down to the main street
I liked everything. Probably would have preferred a more modern lock

Although the hotel is in Plaka, which is in the old-town, and very touristy, with endless restaurants and bars, the hotel itself is on a very quiet street. Also amazingly close to the entrance of the Parthenon. The room is not very large, but well furbished given the size. The bed is comfy.
The only thing that is a minus (and very luck based) is the thin walls, and the fact the only window in the room looks toward the internal corridor. Which means late guests and their inevitable noise will be felt as if next to your ears. But that might not even happen to you, or even if it does, it is a rare and minor nuisance.

The best thing I like the most is the location in the heart of Plaka district with walk distance to many attractions. The room was big enough with comfortable king-size beds, clean up every second day. Very safe area.
Because it is an old building, I would say that the air in the building is a little bit to damp with the smell of dampness. The ventilation needs to be improved . The toilet door was impossible to close what is the result of dampness.

The location is perfect, could not ask for better in regard to seeing all the major sites in Athens. The rooms was nicely decorated and it was comfortable. It had a coffee machine which was great. I’d probably stay here again because of the location alone.
We were in the front room and it is extremely light of a night time due to there not being thick curtains or fully closable shutters on the windows. There is no actual reception, whilst this is not a huge issue, when we arrived we were able to get in with a code, but we did not know where we could leave bags etc. The lady who checks you in is lovely, and she did arrive quickly after we sent a message and we also were able to check in a bit earlier once our room was cleaned from the previous guest, so that was a positive. In regard to noise, as others have said, because of the wooden floors in the hallway you do hear people coming and going, and some people just don’t know how to speak quietly! Overall though this did not affect our stay, it was very quiet of an evening.

The location of the hotel was amazing - a short walk to the Acropolis and other historic sites, as well as to town for shops and food. The room layout was perfect for us - 2 friends sharing with separate rooms. The design is clean and modern, the bathroom and shower were great and the coffee machine was well received! There is also a lovely little rooftop with views up to Acropolis where we sat with a coffee or wine. The staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough. We really enjoyed our stay - thanks for your hospitality!
Nothing - it was all great. It's important to note that this is a small boutique hotel in an older building in the heart of older Athens. This means steps and narrow streets, and the taxis did find it difficult to navigate - but this added to the charm for me!

We stayed here twice. The first time we stayed we were not too impressed with the location cause we thought it was far away from things. On our second stay we decided to go down different alleys and found numerous restaurants and shopping we never knew existed. It truly is in an awesome location you. Just have to be willing to explore. The place itself is very cute, comfortable and clean. It has alot of character and sits just below the Acropolis.
It’s not ideal for anyone with a disability as there various inclines you must tackle to get to or from the property. It is an old historical building so keep in mind it is not sound proof.

The location in Plaka, very near the Acropolis Museum was great! it was a nicely renovated, historic hotel. Very quiet at night. Very near some great restaurants in lovely Plaka streets.
"Front Desk" help was all remote. So check-in was a little prolonged, as I came in early from the airport. But, still transportation from and to airport was arranged promptly as needed. The woman in charge of the cleaning staff was lovely and made every effort to meet my needs. The other guests I met were very outgoing and well-traveled, which indicates the type of customers they draw in.
