The location of the hotel was amazing - a short walk to the Acropolis and other historic sites, as well as to town for shops and food. The room layout was perfect for us - 2 friends sharing with separate rooms. The design is clean and modern, the bathroom and shower were great and the coffee machine was well received! There is also a lovely little rooftop with views up to Acropolis where we sat with a coffee or wine. The staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough. We really enjoyed our stay - thanks for your hospitality!
Nothing - it was all great. It's important to note that this is a small boutique hotel in an older building in the heart of older Athens. This means steps and narrow streets, and the taxis did find it difficult to navigate - but this added to the charm for me!

Lovely room, clean and luxurious feel, great facilities (strong shower, very nice bathroom, TV with Netflix, strong air conditioning), and very friendly staff. Staff gave us recommendations on places to eat around the area, and showed us around the property. Also great location, a bit of a climb up if you arrive by metro, but it is through rows of shops and restaurants, so the atmosphere is lovely.
Nothing!

I loved the location of this hotel. We walked to Acropolis and to the restaurants and shops in Plaka. The front desk person, Gianni, was the best! He gave us his number so we could communicate through WhatsApp’s if we needed any directions or help finding transportation. He was very accommodating and such a pleasure to talk to. I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you Gianni! Our stay was great!

I loved the Acron. Mrs Alexandra was an excellent hostess—very kind, responsive and accommodating and the location is excellent. It's true it's hard for cabbies to find it because it's on a high and narrow street, but the hotel works with a ground service that drops off right at the door if you want (make sure you arrange through the hotel for them to pick you up at the airport if you've many bags). It's a short walk from the Monastiraki metro and in an excellent location—9 min walk from the Acropolis and very near great restaurants, historical sites and shopping, and right next to the super-charming Anafiotika neighborhood. This is not a location for those with mobility issues — there are steps to navigate going and coming — but it is well worth it, awesome location. The rooms are renovated with beautiful bathrooms, great water pressure. I was there in blistering July, so appreciated the very comfortable bed, excellent AC and quiet room off the street.

Amazing location in Plaka! Very close to lots of little tavernas and places to eat / drink but far enough away to be quiet at night. Close to the Acropolis and Monastiraki Square and a good base to see the city! Room was lovely and had everything we needed for a 48 hour explore of Athens (we stayed 2 nights). Air conditioning, clean, good shower with waterfall showerhead and comfortable bed. We caught a train from Monastiraki Square to the port for our transfer to Paros (2,80€) and it was a very easy walk downhill. We came here straight from the airport and got a taxi which cost 49€ but could have saved ourselves the money and caught the train knowing how close it was to the station (is just an uphill walk).
Nothing.

The location couldn’t haven’t been better!! Very close to everywhere you need to go and more. I’d recommend staying here over anywhere else due to the location. The hotel is updated on the inside and still very much old Greece on the outside which is exactly what you want when staying in Athens.
Would create a website for bookings and get new windows. Almost didn’t book due to having to book it via bookings.com. Luckily I am a heavy sleeper and at night people/cars/birds don’t go by but during the early mornings and day time it can be very loud. It would also help to keep the cool air in.

Location was great, just down the street from the hotel is an adorable little alley stairway with lots of bars and restaurants, and to the back you can see part of the acropolis. We had a room at the top of the stairs with the view that looked out onto our fence. It was beautiful. Decent size room. I had a couch a fridge, a coffee machine. Modern and updated bathroom. King bed that was very comfortable. The lady that runs this hotel is very nice and helpful, and hotel is small with only a handful of rooms. It has a little back courtyard with tables and a view of the acropolis.
Our room had a beautiful view, but it seems like some of the other rooms didn’t have an external window.

Acron Hotel was the absolutely best location and stay we could have asked for. We were so wiped out when we arrived, it was such a comfort to have a clean, comfortable room, comfortable bed, with water and good coffee, and we loved all the character and history of this hotel and area. We are country people usually uncomfortable in a big city - I could not believe how quiet it is here. The hotel is pretty safe and secure too. The view of Lycabettus and the city is beautiful. We could walk to everywhere and such a short distance to the Acropolis. Best of all we were right behind the entrance to the Holy Sepulcher Orthodox church and also close to Saint Nikolas. We didn’t even plan it that way. It was such a blessing to receive communion there amid the light of the Holy Fire and the hospitality of the people. We walked by Saint Nikolas church on the way to dinner and a service was going on we got to pop into. I am so sorry I cant remember your name now, but the host’s dinner recommendations were wonderful - We ate at Scholarhio (Σχολαρχείο). He also arranged for a taxi to pick us up at 5:45 am. I was worried for a minute because I did not confirm to make sure it was all set, but the taxi was waiting right on time to take us to the ferry. Our time here could not have been better and gone more smoothly and I know it could be a whole different story if we had booked the wrong place. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your hospitality and service!🙏🏽
Nothing. We loved the original floors and doors by the way. Very modern amenities - beds, bathroom, lighting, shelves, with just the right touch of the preservation of history.

location was perfect, access was easy, food options around was great and distance to metro was less than 1km. Shower pressure is excellent and a nice touch with the shampoo and body wash. There was also a nespresso machine available. There is also Netflix available for the room
It would be good if there were more hooks in the bathroom area, perhaps behind the door a we were 3 people but only 2 hooks. There is no one on site and no details of how to contact someone if you need it (but we did not). Our bar fridge did not get cold but this again was not an issue for us.

Great location. Very easy to walk to top attractions like the Acropolis and great dining steps away from the door. Hotel was newly renovated I believe so it felt new and clean but while retaining the historic feel of the building. We were greeted at our host and given great recommendations. He also booked a cab for us from the airport. It is "up a hill" but it never gets that steep. Easy to walk to and from.
We were greeted with incredibly loud bells at 6:30am on Sunday, following by loud chanting/singing for 2 hours. There is an Orthodox church directly across the street so if you are staying in a room with windows onto the front, you will be awoken by this on Sundays. It did not happen Monday or Tuesday (we only stayed Sat-Tues.) Also, Athens is very lively so we heard loud music coming from nearby restaurants until early in the morning (around 2am.) The room with a balcony is a great view but it's a little loud. If I stayed here again, I would request a room facing the courtyard maybe.
