Perfect location in lively Plaka district - the old part of Athen. All major touristic destination - Akropolis, Hadrians arche, museums, etc, - are in working distance. Many restaurants, Cafés and shops around opened till late night. Easy to reach from airport by metro (line 3) or bus because Sintagma square is 10 min away on foot. The hotel has fantastic roof terace with a view to Akropolis - very impressive in the night. Each room has also a nice private balcony. Rooms are basic, but surprisingly quiet and very clean. Air-condition, fridge, tee-making set. Reception 24/7 is very handy. Reasonable breakfast. Friendly personal. Elevator till the last floor. Value for money.

Very small elevator might be challenging for wheelchair, baby carriage or oversize suitcase.

Located in the Plaka it made for easy shopping and exploring. The area is clean, peaceful and safe. Breakfast was good with plenty to choose from.

The room was a little small but ok for a 2 star hotel.

Excellent location in Plaka. Restaurants, cafes, tarvena, and shops all a very short walk away. We felt the location was central to all the sights. Easy to get around Athens from Adams Hotel. The room was large, comfortable, and clean. The air-conditioning was great after being out in the heat of Athens. The room was what we expected when we booked, so no complaints. The rooftop area gives good views around Athens. Staff were friendly and helped up with taxi booking when we left for the airport.

The bathroom could do with a freshen up, but it was very usable.

Good price and value for money. Brilliant location for all the archeological sites. Shopping and restaurants,only a stone's throw away. Small room, good size ensuite but enormous balcony/ terrace with acropolis view Continental breakfast selection good. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Personally would have liked some more storage space in room and bathroom needs a little TLC. Did not detract from holiday experience in any way so did not bother hotel management about it.

great location. 5 minutes to plaka, 7 minutes to syntagma square to catch tram or train, 3 minutes to acropolis museum. breakfast was included and was good. reception very helpful. room had a huge outdoor balcony and good air conditioning. there was a lift to get us to 3rd floor. very reasonably priced.

The rooms are small. The balcony door would not lock. The bathroom - had some mould, water didn’t drain well from shower, and the hairdryer would only stay on for 30 seconds. The stairs to the terrace are metal spiral and others using them may keep you awake at night.

Breakfast was very good with plenty available - eggs, bread, croissants, jams, butter, coffee etc Hot milk and a toaster - it offered a very good start to the day. The staff were wonderful because it was exceptionally cold. Luckily we brought thermals but we only had to ask if we wanted something. The room was a bit small but it would have been more difficult to heat if it had been bigger. The balcony, outside space, is magnificent but just a bit too cold for us to use. We definitely recommend this hotel. Exceptional value for a central location.

Very little if anything. This was a value-for-money hotel and it was exceptional in that respect.

The location is just perfect! The room was small, but very clean. The bathroom was small, but very clean. The balcony was exceptional and large with a wonderful view of the Acropolis. Breakfast each morning was satisfactory and plentiful. We loved that we were within walking distance to everything that we wanted to see. There is a pharmacy, a half a block away and more restaurants than you could ever eat at just a block away. Security seemed very tight, with a keypad entry outside. All in all a great spot.

Night time staff was very helpful in pointing directions and providing plug in adapter. Dining room staff helped heat the dinner. Location is excellent.

The day time is not as helpful. One staff was curt and rushed us during check out. My room had 2 sliding doors and very bright and more spacious than my friends’ rooms but it was a little more noisy but was not that annoying. I just don’t like the bathroom room layout. The ledge for the shower was in the way of the toilet a little bit. I just worried I would trip over it when I used the toilet. When I booked the hotel, the site indicated a 3 star hotel but the hotel rated itself a 2 star which is more accurate. So from a 2 star perspective, it is quite satisfactory.

We picked the Adams Hotel because it is in central Athens, within an easy walk to the Acropolis. The facilities were great, nice room, good breakfast in the morning. The hotel has an elevator which made getting the luggage in and out easy. Staff were really helpful with walking directions and restaurant suggestions and most importantly helping arrange the taxi to the airport. The location is great, a 3 minute walk to the walking street that leads to the acropolis (another 4 min walk). Also there is lots of nice shopping and restaurant possibilities all around the hotel. It made our stay super convenient and enjoyable.

Adams Hotel is in a superb position for Athens old town and the historic sites including the Acropolis Museum within a 5 minute walk. The nearest Metro Station is Acropolis, take the Metro line from the Airport to Omonia and then come back on the red line one stop to Acropolis Station and Adams Hotel is about 5 minutes walk away.

A bit dated bathroom but more than made up by location, breakfast and staff.
