A small room has a king-size comfortable bed with crisp white linens. You can be sure to have a good rest after a day on foot. All fixtures are working in a tiny shower and there are plenty of clean towels every day. The staff is working hard to keep it super clean. What is special about this place - is breakfast on the roof with a great view of the Acropolis. You feel that you beat the crowd and are already inside when everybody is lining up to get the ticket. The hotel is in the middle of the Plaka district, we took advantage of a guided tour of the labyrinth of the smallest streets, and a tour of Agora. A special place with a special history.

We didn't get upset that the towel shelf was a bit loose in the bathroom, it's because it was holding too many towels.

The location was fabulous for everything the view was exceptional of the acropolis and street below, The room 45 was spacious and had a great patio/balcony. The hotel was clean and friendly and had a great rooftop terrace area where optional breakfast was located along with snacks/drinks. Changing of the guard on the hour every hour at parliament house was a must to watch, roman bath ruins, olympic stadium, national gardend temple of Zeus, Hadrians arch all close by, ancient agora other little gardens and ruins hidden in back streets with great tavernas off the main track great district for souvenir shopping. Lots of bigger shops up symtana square end. Used Keytours company close by for an excursion to Delphi which was also amazing.

Tea/coffee facilities in the room would of been great. the bathroom could of done with some modification like the toilet roll holder location and was loose. If on the larger side may of had issues using the toilet as shower screen was beside but did move to accomodate, sink location and shutting door had to move to side slightly and no holder for shower but these are small niggles rather than issues and did not hinder my stay.

Cleanliness of the room not so good - linen and towels were perfect but floor was not swept, single mug in the bathroom wsas chipped and unwashed, outside table was not clean, just details but important. Breakfast was good but the containers for jam, honey etc were dull and sticky and looked like they were just refilled rather than washed each day. Receptionist was not very welcoming but in fairness it was a very hot day at the end of the season, so can understand that a bit! Also, the hot water in the shower kept cutting out and running cold.

Great location: the hotel is in the heart of the Plaka area, close to the Acropolis, the Metro and restaurants. This was our second stay at the hotel for our return trip home after island hopping. During this stay we had breakfast in the rooftop dining area which is a great deal for € 10.00 per person. Breakfast is buffet style with scrambled eggs, sausage, bread (toast), ham, cheese, cereal, yogurt, juice, coffee and cakes.

Our room was very small with a full-size bed with a mattress that was too soft and saggy. During our first stay had two twin beds and which was larger. I recommend getting a room with two twin beds if possible. There are some nice larger rooms with a private terrace on the front (street side) of the hotel for larger groups of people.

Great location, central but nice and quiet. Room was nice and clean and a good size as two single beds. Breakfast offering seemed good, we only had coffee and cake (pastry) as we landed late and had very late dinner so not hungry.

There was a bad smell in the bathroom when it wasn't being used. Coffee was very weak. We were disappointed that the rooftop bar was closed after 10, our flight was delayed so we missed having a drink there.

I felt it was a 5 star location which had so much potential but had things that I couldn’t ignore. There was no real outlet for the water to go in the shower except in the whole bathroom. So the whole floor became wet and I had to use every towel to clean it up. There was no cup to use. I felt this was basic. The bed only had the cover sheet for the mattress fitted. Though the sheets to sleep under were supplied, I had to make the bed up myself. I imagine it was because it was hot , but I felt it was basic.

Location was near Acropolis and our room (#35 on the second floor) had a view of the Acropolis. Only 2 minute walk to the Metro (red line). Large room with typical European small bathroom. 24hr reception. We had a small balcony overlooking busy pedestrian street which was noisy from mid-morning to late into evening, but, a lot of the noise could be blocked out by shutting our balcony door. Roof-top terrace with good views of Acropolis and good food. Lift to upper floors.

A minor point: the limited breakfast options for people with food restrictions eg, dairy-free diets. Offering plain bread (I can’t eat croissants :( ), and a bit more fruit or veggies would have been great.

Location, location, location. The location of the hotel is perfect. Within walking distance of some of the main sights and many of the restaurants situated on the picturesque side streets of the Plaka district. The Metro station and the entrance gate to the Acropolis are approx 100m away. The rooftop bar is overlooked by the Acropolis which provides a great backdrop especially as the daylight begins to fade and it is lit up. Being located on a popular street to access the craft and souvenir shops it is a lively area throughout the day.

The view was phenomenal! I could lay in my bed and look at the Parthenon! The rooftop restaurant was delightful with the same view. Wonderful balcony to enjoy this breathtaking view! Location could not have been better! Price was a steal!
