This is the cutest little hotel you’ll stay in. Tiny is the operative word. Think no large suitcases (you’d have to winch them upstairs anyway!). But what it lacks in size it makes up in cuteness and location and friendly staff. Oh and the rooftop for breakfast or a late night aperitif while admiring the floodlit acropolis. A wee bit of late night street noise but nothing shocking.

The room is small but if you travel lightish it’s fine. There’s reasonable storage in cupboards and shelves.

I don’t think you could find a better location in Athens if you are there as a tourist to enjoy the Akropolis, and all of the wonderful archeological sites in Athens. Simply superb— a few steps from the Akropolis entrance, right at the Plaka, great view from the rooftop deck. Very friendly and super helpful staff. They took care of problems immediately. And they made great suggestions for restaurants. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. I mention some things I didn’t like below, but would definitely stay here again.

The rooms are well-appointed but small. For two people with luggage it takes a bit of organization to get unpacked. The stairs are a bit steep and you need to watch your step going down. Breakfast had plenty of food, and fresh orange juice, though more fruit would be appreciated. We tended to skip breakfast and go for the great coffees, capuchinos, really good pastries, etc at one of the myriad cafes only steps away. Besides better food it made us feel more part of the morning city scene.

This little hotel was absolutely perfect! The antique theme was really fun and made it feel homey. The location was amazing, likely the closest hotel to the acropolis entrance. And very close to non tourist neighborhoods if you are looking to step away. Breakfast was great, you can't beat the fresh squeezed orange juice. Everything was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful, providing directions and recommendations for restaurants. We were so happy with our stay there!

It was fine with us, but there are a lot of narrow stairs, which may be difficult for some.

Kyria Boutique House was ideally located in the heart of the Plaka. The junior suite was well set out on the ground floor and opened up onto a beautiful internal quiet courtyard with a table and chairs. The suite had a lovely relaxing atmosphere. The receptionist, Magda was very helpful and even arranged for breakfast to be delivered to our suite as we were unable to go up to the breakfast area due to mobility issues.

We loved the breakfast and the staff. Wonderful and helpful. We liked the roof top view and the location close to the metro and the attractions of central Athens.

The room is smallish so have to work around luggage. Also the room is quite noisy and bright due to its location on a heavily travelled square where people party till 2am it seemed.

The location was excellent with brilliant view on the Acropolis. No traffic arround the accomodation and perfectly situated in Plaka on walking distance from all other sights. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

For us the breakfast could be a little bit improved with fresh bread. For the rest we liked everything !

Our room at Kyria was gorgeous! The vintage style was done so well and spoke to the heritage of the building. We even had a view of the Acropolis from our window! The view from the rooftop for breakfast was fantastic. And the location was really right amongst the centre of Plaka - ideal for walking and making the most of a short visit to Athens.

It was a charming shabby chic boutique hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were perfect. The view from the rooftop of the Acropolis was gorgeous. I'd go back there in a heartbeat.

The stairs can be a bit daunting and I certainly wouldn't recommend it for people with disabilities.

Location is outstanding especially for the price. the roof deck view right next to the Acropolis is unbeatable.

Impossible to park around the property as it is in the historical district. DO NOT attempt to drive around, you will get stuck with hordes of walking tourists and one way streets. I wish the staff would have warned us about this, since it cost us one hour of insane traffic.

The location was very convenient to the old city. The roof top offered a wonderful view of the Parthenon the Acropolis.

Although we managed fine, note there is no elevator to the rooms or the roof top. The hotel is not suitable for people with limited movement abilities.
