Location is very good. center of athens. Airport bus x95 5 minutes walk. 15 minutes🚶‍♀️walk to acropolis. buss x95 ticket🎟 5 euro. acropolis ticket 🎟 10 euro. so many restaurant around the hotel. but no clothes iron facilities available. and no Kattle☕ for tea and coffee in the hotel. breakfast was very good. overall excellent. 🙏

The location of this hotel is brilliant for seeing the sights of Athens. The breakfast is great. The room was very good, a little bit small, but I booked that. Everything worked - the shower was hot, the bed great.

The lift is antique and is VERY slow. I was on the 8th floor, so didn't feel like walking up all the stairs. The 9th floor has empty space and a terrific view. It would be good to see something done with that space.

Location is perfect. Rooms are very clean, great big windows, that can be opened. Beds comfortable Breakfast has all you need (eggs, sausages, ham, cheese, vegetable, fruit sweets, corn flakes, coffee, tea, juice, toast, ....). 5 minutes from bus x95 (airport) and Syntagma square , one block away from main shopping street Ermou, 15 minutes walk to Acropolis, 10 to Plaka and Monastiraki. The stuff at the reception very nice and friendly. A hotel with a reasonable price and great location. Would come back next time I visit Athens.

Due to the perfect.location it might get a bit loud from the street below. Opening/closing the doors to the rooms makes a lot of noice. And door isolation is very bad - noises from hallway disturb sleeping at night. Missed the sockets near the bed. And for the ladies in the breakfast room - a smile does not hurt! They were sometimes also rude to the (eldery) guests when they did not know how to use coffee machine..

The hotel is in an excellent location, right next to Syntagma Square, with a direct link to the airport. All the attractions of Athens are within walking distance, and you have many restaurants close to the hotel. Very good value for money

Our group of 14 girlfriends hailing back to college days had a most comfortable and enjoyable stay at Arethusa Hotel in Athens. Centrally located and conveniently close to everything that interested us.. the eateries, shops, bus station, were all just walking distance from here. The main sights of Athens too were in the vicinity and each evening the beautifully lit-up Acropolis beckoned from the nearby hilltop. Felt safe too in this neighbohrhood at all times of the day. The staff, besides being helpful and accommodating to our requests, turned many a blind eye (and deaf ear!) to this boisterous bunch of buddies ! Would definitely come back to Arethisa Hotel again.

The staff in the breakfast room could be friendlier.

The location is excellent, a few steps from Syntagma Square, Plaka, and Monastiraki, and very close to many archeological sites. Breakfast was wonderful and included in the room price. The staff was amicable and helpful. The hotel is quite comfortable and clean, even if a bit frugal. It is excellent value for money and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to explore the heart of Athens at a reasonable accommodation price.

The elevators were quite small, but I guess it is impossible to replace them without a major reconstruction of the building. But in the end, this was not a big deal, elevators did what they were supposed to do :-)

The location was superb. Just about 150 metres from X95 bus stop to and fro airport, 200 metres to the Syntagma metro station. Ermou Street is just on the next street. Walking distance to Plaka and Monastiraki. Surrounded by all sorts of cafes yet not noisy. Breakfast was simple yet good. Rooms were clean and water pressure good.

Bed was a bit too soft

Very friendly and helpfull staff. Clean room and bathroom, the room was also spacious. Great buffet breakfast. The location is amazing, in Plaka close to the express bus station to the airport and within close walking distance to Athens' main attractions. The staff excelled in being of assistance - on the morning of my first stay in July, I had to leave for the airport at 06:00 am (before breakfast) and the staff member at the reception desk offered to have a breakfast box packed for me. On this last stay my flight was only in the evening and they allowed a late check-out. I have been staying in this hotel, every year for more than 20 years and will continue to do so.

Nothing, everything was exceptional

Very nice staff and helpful. I arrived at 11:00am in a very hot day and the person at the reception was able to give me immediately the room althought check in started later. Great central location and safe for a solo traveller, you can easily walk to all the main attractions. Good breakfast with a lot of choices.

Room was quite small but ok for 1 person. They also take school groups so unfortunately there was a lot of noise on the floor of the rooms during the night. Also the closure of the doors is very noisy so as soon as people start to wake up and go to breakfast it's impossible to sleep.
