2 adults Stayed here for just 3 nights Nov 11th 2024 Clean comfortable room with a view of the acropolis from the sunny but traffic noisy balcony. Complimentary bottle of water & red wine. Small amount of Tea & Coffee making stuff with tiny cups. Coffee machine & kettle & fridge. But what a strange bathroom, toilet is in the shower, so if you use the shower, which is lovely with loads of massage jets, the floor is soaking all day or night when you need to use the toilet you need footwear on or your feet are wet! There is another shower over the bath, but who wants to use that when there is a fancy one to use 🤔 That is the only thing wrong with this room & it's a BIG thing wrong🙄 Staff are wonderful, really helpful & speak great English🙂 Breakfast, buffet style, included in our booking is ok, not great, usual stuff, not very hot though fried eggs swimming in oil. No fresh made options. No bar as such, we came here to meet up with friends all staying here but no where really to go just for a drink & chat. Roof top restaurant food is great, but not comfortable for just & drink & relax. Nolicoli the waiter/bar man is very enthusiastic about his job, but also a little annoying. The hotel is within walking distance of the main town & if you get the hop on hop off bus, getting tickets from hotel reception saves 5€ per person & they will give you great directions & recommend places. You have to visit FAIRYTALE if you want dessert it's crazy in there & menu is amazing 10 min walk. Also Gelato de Nona is the best smooth silky & delicious gelato I've ever eaten 👌 8 min walk away. Would we stay here again & recommend this hotel, if we ever came to Athens, yes we probably would 🙂 as we have no experience of other hotels in the area. It's only that shower that was a nuisance.

The bathroom

One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in for a while . The staff are really friendly and helpful and the hotel provides nice touches when you arrive , a drink on arrival and a bottle of wine , water and local sesame bar in the room. The room itself was brilliant , get a room with a view of the Parthenon and Acropolis it’s just perfect. The room is clean and smells lovely. The area is within a quick walk of the metro with easy access to the airport and port and a little walk takes you to lots of the lovely sights Athens offers. Breakfast is superb and the staff very friendly .The hotel restaurant and bar on the 6th floor is amazing , again the view is to die for. The food was varied and tasty and staff really professional and kind. It’s a great hotel. Totally recommend.

Loved it all

Despite the modest look from the outside this hotel is a true gem; the staff was helpfull, the roof terrace restaurant exceeeded our expectations, the breakfast was good and the rooms were tasteful decorated. A big plus also for the details like a welcome drink while checking in, a bottle of wine in the rooms etc. The best was, however, the spacius balcony with a direct and unrestricted view of the Acropolis.

Don't be fooled by how the area looks on google street view, we never felt unsafe walking to the hotel at night. The closest streets to the hotel are not the best, but there is only a short walk to restaurants, bars etc

Very good position, easy to the center and the breakfast 🥞 is Super good 👍 Only the room is little bit small, but most of the time I am outside, the bed is very comfortable! The service is very good 👍, they are very friendly and I like the sweetness they provide! They even give a bottle of red wine although I don’t drink. In gerneral, a good and worthy experience! If you are sensitive to the noise on the street you may need a room in the back but then you lost the nice view from Parthonong Temple on the hill.

Everything! From the moment I arrived I was so impressed with the staff and the facility. What a way to spend New Year's Eve. I ordered a room service and literally sat at my coffee table eating a Greek hamburger staring at the Acropolis and the amazing fireworks. What a view! The staff called me to make sure everything was satisfactory, let me know when my driver was there the next morning and was very charming bringing me my dinner. The room was gorgeous. Spacious, stylish and had everything you could think of, including a bottle of wine to welcome in the new year! I hated to leave the place the next morning. I could have spent another 2 days just sitting on that gorgeous balcony staring at the Acropolis. I'm not sure what they charge during the season but for the off-season this price was a steal.

The only thing I didn't like was that I had to leave! LOL

great value, great service, rooftop bar had excellent food and the cost was extremely good for the quality, comfortable beds

we had a shower that shared a wet room space with the toilet. there was no way to stop the water creeping/splashing towards the toilet which meant we showered in the bathtub so that we didn't have wet feet/shoes whenever we used the toilet. it was a shame because the shower had massage jets on it and we didn't want to take advantage of them because they would have shot straight across the toilet and we'd have had to clean/wipe everything. the shower needed to either be separate or have a distinct drainage/barrier between the toilet. but the bathroom itself was lovely

The Breakfast / Tea coffee amenities / Wine upon arrival is a +++ for this property. Vide variety of options in breakfast, Wine upon arrival was a personal touch. You guys are best in Hospitality. All the associates are happily smiling and ready to assist at any time.

The small window in the room. For sure it comes with the money / not in your hand as it is the structure of the room. However the View was not able to enjoy much, it is not a minus but a small disappointment. This was overtaken by the services you guys provide. Late check out was not available but that's okay.

We enjoyed 4 nights Athenaeum Eridanus Luxury Hotel. We chose this hotel because of its view of the Acropolis. The facility itself was very clean and perfect if your a first time traveler to Athens as we were. The staff were so kind and helpful. The facility itself is a bit off the beaten path from the main shopping and dining area which is also near the Acropolis. With that said, we would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Coming from California, we were not expecting the toilet to be located inside the shower. That was a bit of a discomfort because when we had to use the toilet and if we had taken a shower recently, we had to walk through the shower water, but we managed through it. Maybe a squeegee could be provided to guests.

The property is beautiful the view to acropolis is very nice. It's calm . It'd clean. Breakfast is good. The team is super helpful and forthcoming. We really enjoyed our stay. Will recommend and return despite the flaws.

The location is a little off radar, and after a certain hour it's less fun to walk around the area. Within 10 mins walking distance you are in the heart of everything but the neighborhood is not very sympathetic. The elevator definitely needs to be checked , it makes a lot of funny noises . the water in the shower switches between hot and cold at times.

I had a bit of apprehensions about where we were staying and the ride in didn't soften that feeling. However, putting the neighborhood sites aside, the hotel was perfect. It was so much better than we expected and surpassed our expectations. The location was convenient to everything a tourist wanted to explore. The rooftop restaurant was idyllic for the view. The staff was super helpful and accommodating, would not take an "it's OK" as an acceptable answer and wanted it to be perfect. I really appreciated that. Breakfast was an unexpected treat. I was expecting a typical continental breakfast fair like we have in the states, however this hotel provided such a variety of local delicacy and an abundance of options. Cannot say enough good things.

My only complaint is that that bar needs to polish up some of their cocktail offerings with a proper mix. 1 out of the 3 drinks we had wasn't great, but that can be improved upon, I am sure.
