Probably the gold standard of Athens hostels. The staff (including the cleaners) were all very friendly. The beds and rooms are clean and comfortable. The toilets and showers were nice. Location is perfect. Price very reasonable. The cafe/bar in the lobby was insanely cheap. Can’t ask for more!

The only thing I would suggest is maybe putting some oil or something on the locker hinges. They squeak quite a lot and a guy in my room decided to open and close his locker every 10 minutes at 6 am which wasn’t fun. But overall it’s a minor thing and I love this hostel!

In city center. 1min to Varvakios(Central Market). From Athens Train station go by metro(Larissa) to Omonia station, from there is 15min to Hostel. Big spacious lobby, big kitchen, big pans, saucepans, utensils, two microwaves, two big fridges, small kitchen bar and induction cooker. WiFi great, clean kitchen, clean room, clean WC. From hostel the famous Acropolis is 25min, ticket 10€, with combined 30€ ticket you can see more sights. It has a lift. Great Staff, always smiling.

Induction cooker, well it heats very fast and most of time I burned food(I wish for gas stove), I prefer small saucepans, frying pans. Water don't know if it's drinkable, bought a 6-pack to be sure. AC heater needs some cleaning, cause it was a bit cold in room, so that I had to sleep in warm clothes.

Wonderful, feels like home but better! To be honest, I’ve truly had the most wonderful time while staying at this hostel. Travelled around the world quite a lot, but this hostel is outstanding. The staff working here turn the place from pretty amazing into incredibly wonderful. Was welcomed so warmly by Maria and immediately felt like home. She’s the loveliest, the funniest as well, she just has something special. Also Ntina who’s there mostly in the morning is so sweet and helpful, and with Saeed who’s working night shifts we’ve had the most entertaining conversations when laughing our asses off. About hostel facilities: everything is very clean, showers are having great water pressure and are so nice and warm, lockers are huge and super convenient, beds have curtains for privacy, the kitchen’s got everything you need, there’s 24/7 reception so you’ll feel safe all time and the hostel is perfectly located in between food spots and sights, without disadvantages like noise, it’s super peaceful. The hostel is not a party place, but it’s extremely social. And btw, if you like karaoke, ask Saeed. If you like Jenga, ask Maria. Even though the hostel says it serves no “breakfast”, every morning in between about 8-11 AM they offer you free coffee, tea, biscuits and cake, which I think is lovely. Not a single bad word about his hostel, it’s just amazing. When I come back, and after this experience I definitely will, I will for sure stay here again! And if you wanna have the best Athens experience, I would like to advice you to do the same. :p

It’s clean and convenient . I stayed in the 4 bunk bed. I chose it as it quieter than a 6 bunk bed . But I had a snorer

- Very welcoming and pleasant hosts - Great location - some 50m from a street with multiple restaurants/cafes and great vibe, which will bring you directly to Acropolis after 15-20 minutes walk - Kitchen equipped with everything you might need (also free tea/coffee/cookies) - Good Wi-Fi - Stable hot water in the shower - Comfortable and clean beds, curtain blocks out the room light pretty well - Each guest is provided with a locker, it is quite spacey to fit a backpack(s) / middle-sized luggage bag, but it might be troublesome to fit the big one

- WC/Shower doors are quite noisy and are right across the bedroom door. So if you get a bed next to a door, you will hear it pretty well - No hooks/shelves inside shower cabin (3d floor)

Perfect location, close to absolutely everything, very clean thanks to the impeccable work of two wonderful Brazilians, Edjane and the other one I don't remember her name. The girls at the reception were all super friendly and helpful. The hostel has an industrial style decor, the rooms are large, there are huge trunks to store your luggage that come with a padlock attached to the bed that the hostel provides free of charge, the beds are very comfortable, there is a dressing room with a mirror inside the room and a coat rack. The showers and toilets are close to the room and are always clean. The kitchen is not very large, but it is well equipped and very functional. The reception is cozy and has background music. I recommend this hostel to everyone who tells me they are going to Athens. It is close to the main tourist attractions and close to the subway, restaurants, supermarket, clubs and shopping.

I liked everything, so much so that I went to Santorini and a few days later I came back and stayed for another 5 days. A big hug to the whole team.

I stayed at the hostel for a short time between flights in room number 5 (a 4-bed dorm). The location is excellent—very close to the metro and within walking distance of Monastiraki Square, which is super convenient. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. There is complimentary coffee and tea with cookies (I was told) in the morning and the lemon water available throughout the day. Each bed had its own personal lamp, power outlet, and privacy curtain

There's a church nearby, and the church bell rings every hour, which you can hear inside the room even with the windows closed. I am not sure if it happens during the night. Additionally, the door locks make some noise when opening or closing, which could disturb light sleepers.

It’s my favourite hostel in Athens, coming here for the second time and definitely will come again. Location is great! Close to metro, but at the same time in ore quiet neighborhood. It’s easy and convenient to get around the city. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Every bed has a curtain, which gives a perfect privacy, and all necessities, like a socket, bed lamp, and a storage box with a key locket on it. Big balcony, the fav part of the room. Great place to chill or have a morning coffee. Staff is absolutely amazing, very friendly and helpful! Every one of them, was a great pleasure to chat🤍

- The staff was very friendly and helpful. I felt like home. - Everything in the room, kitchen, and toilet was clean, I never felt disgusted or anything. - The kitchen was amazing. It has everything you need to cook even complex meals. You could take some sauces, seasonings, cooking oil, and other stuff for free since it was of common use. There were a lot of utensils in good condition. - They had hot water and I could shower easily. The towel rent is 2€ and it is big enough. Toilets have hangers and shelves, so you can put your things easily. - The room had lockers that were quite big and free. You could put a suitcase there even. Maybe 1-1.5 x 0.5 m in size, not sure. There also was a trash can, AC, mirror, hangers, etc. - My bed was the upper one and climbing there was easy, steps were comfortable. There was a shelf, socket, and lamp near the bed, very satisfying!

- I did not get any duvet cover and that was my only concern regarding cleanliness. - The toilet was quite cold and I was worried I could get sick while showering. A very nice lady in reception told me I could turn on the heater but I did not find the switch even after asking several times haha. Also, the private rooms in the bathroom are quite small so not much space.

BedBox is an amazing place to stay !!! The staff is unique !!! Always they are smilling , they are very kind and ready to give you any kind of information or advice. They love them job and they try make the stay of them clients much more better !!! It is very important for a visitor to feel a place like his/her home !!! I love all the team of BedBox !!! Besides of excellent staff , are excellent the rooms as well . Very clean , with private place to put your luggage . One more good point is the curtain of each bed . By this way each bed have privacy . BedBox is at a great location. It is very close by walking to Omonia and Syntagma square . Metro station is also very near . By metro visitors from port and airport is very easy to get at BedBox . I reccommend BedBox 10000 %
