In city center. 1min to Varvakios(Central Market). From Athens Train station go by metro(Larissa) to Omonia station, from there is 15min to Hostel. Big spacious lobby, big kitchen, big pans, saucepans, utensils, two microwaves, two big fridges, small kitchen bar and induction cooker. WiFi great, clean kitchen, clean room, clean WC. From hostel the famous Acropolis is 25min, ticket 10€, with combined 30€ ticket you can see more sights. It has a lift. Great Staff, always smiling.

Induction cooker, well it heats very fast and most of time I burned food(I wish for gas stove), I prefer small saucepans, frying pans. Water don't know if it's drinkable, bought a 6-pack to be sure. AC heater needs some cleaning, cause it was a bit cold in room, so that I had to sleep in warm clothes.

Wonderful, feels like home but better! To be honest, I’ve truly had the most wonderful time while staying at this hostel. Travelled around the world quite a lot, but this hostel is outstanding. The staff working here turn the place from pretty amazing into incredibly wonderful. Was welcomed so warmly by Maria and immediately felt like home. She’s the loveliest, the funniest as well, she just has something special. Also Ntina who’s there mostly in the morning is so sweet and helpful, and with Saeed who’s working night shifts we’ve had the most entertaining conversations when laughing our asses off. About hostel facilities: everything is very clean, showers are having great water pressure and are so nice and warm, lockers are huge and super convenient, beds have curtains for privacy, the kitchen’s got everything you need, there’s 24/7 reception so you’ll feel safe all time and the hostel is perfectly located in between food spots and sights, without disadvantages like noise, it’s super peaceful. The hostel is not a party place, but it’s extremely social. And btw, if you like karaoke, ask Saeed. If you like Jenga, ask Maria. Even though the hostel says it serves no “breakfast”, every morning in between about 8-11 AM they offer you free coffee, tea, biscuits and cake, which I think is lovely. Not a single bad word about his hostel, it’s just amazing. When I come back, and after this experience I definitely will, I will for sure stay here again! And if you wanna have the best Athens experience, I would like to advice you to do the same. :p

- Very welcoming and pleasant hosts - Great location - some 50m from a street with multiple restaurants/cafes and great vibe, which will bring you directly to Acropolis after 15-20 minutes walk - Kitchen equipped with everything you might need (also free tea/coffee/cookies) - Good Wi-Fi - Stable hot water in the shower - Comfortable and clean beds, curtain blocks out the room light pretty well - Each guest is provided with a locker, it is quite spacey to fit a backpack(s) / middle-sized luggage bag, but it might be troublesome to fit the big one

- WC/Shower doors are quite noisy and are right across the bedroom door. So if you get a bed next to a door, you will hear it pretty well - No hooks/shelves inside shower cabin (3d floor)

BedBox is an amazing place to stay !!! The staff is unique !!! Always they are smilling , they are very kind and ready to give you any kind of information or advice. They love them job and they try make the stay of them clients much more better !!! It is very important for a visitor to feel a place like his/her home !!! I love all the team of BedBox !!! Besides of excellent staff , are excellent the rooms as well . Very clean , with private place to put your luggage . One more good point is the curtain of each bed . By this way each bed have privacy . BedBox is at a great location. It is very close by walking to Omonia and Syntagma square . Metro station is also very near . By metro visitors from port and airport is very easy to get at BedBox . I reccommend BedBox 10000 %

Very kind staff, comfortable bed, organized room, great location.

Bathrooms were clean but the shower area was a bit too dark and it didn't have many hooks or places to leave your stuff. Also, one of the lights in my room didn't work.

The place is nice, clean and calm. All the receptionist are kind and helpful, the kitchen has everything you might need if you prefer to prepare your own meals, also it was never crowded. The hostel is very silent at night and it was above my expectations. Great place for women solo travellers 💜

The Location of the hostel is just perfect. Walking distance from the Monastiraki square, where you can get the first peak at the acropolis. I was worried about the safety of the place at night but it was actually quite nice at night. I went out for a nice walk and everyone was out, there was music on the street and small puppet shows as well. Perfect place to stay.

The only thing that has room for improvement is the washroom. When you are taking a shower, you would have to hang your clothes on the hangers that are right outside the shower door. So, it is a bit inconvenient that we have to open the door of the shower to take the clothes after you are done showering. The showers are separated based on gender, so it is still fine but personally, I would be more comfortable if there was space to hang my clothes and towel inside.

Congratulations to all girls and guys who run bedbox hostel. They are very professional. Everything is perfect here. From their smile when welcome you and the cleanliness of the rooms, toilets and common areas till their willingness to help you for anything you need and their warm goodbye. Of course there are some other advantages like the very central location and the cheap prices but the difference comes from the stuff. Finally even if I didn't need it and even if there's a lift, I like a lot the chair they have added at stairs for the disable people for lifting them upstairs. How important to care for all of your guests!

Lots of friendly and welcoming people with a nice vibe to the hostel. The room was spacious with plenty of storage space to put your luggage in and it was safely locked. The luggage storage was very big so you can fit any size of bag! The bed was comfortable. The pillow and duvet were thick enough. They were really accommodating and I had no trouble cancelling a night with a full refund. The location was amazing very close to everything and right in the heart of Athens. The perfect accommodation for any first time solo travels!

The curtain to pull across the bed was a tiny bit too short. It would've been nice if it was longer but it was still fine and it gave me plenty of privacy. The walls were grey but that's not really a complaint either.

Can implement that all shoes should be left outside the room. It makes sense so that dirt and bacterias are not brought into the room, our sleeping quarters. Also probably arrange for a common clothes drying hanger area so that occupants dont have to hang their underwear and socks in the room while we sleep in the room. If possible, change the silk duvet cover to just normal cotton material. Silk material get worn off after washing. I am listing above as a form of improvement measures and definitely not as complaints. It is value for money already as it is.
