Very reasonable price. Spot on central location, walking distance from Monasteraki metro station. We took the Metro from the ferry port to the hotel, and then Metro to the airport the next day. Exceptional restaurant behind the hotel ,Karamanlidika. Local shopping, a roof top bar a couple of foors down. Basic breakfast, but did the trick.

the location is perfect! short walk from the metro. There was attended parking possibility behind the hotel. A great cafe (Mokka) up the road for traditional Greek coffee and lots of other great shops for snacks pies etc. property is accessible with a small lift and open marble stair. breakfast was lovely and the room was exactly what I needed. comfortable double bed, a wardrobe to hang my outfits a tiled small bathroom with fantastic water-pressure in the shower! Came in to 2 clean large bath towels and 1 hand towel. the room was cleaned and the bed made daily. a small terrace overlooking the main road. air con was effective and worked fast. The staff were super friendly, helpful, kind and attentive.

Only thing to note was facing the main road I heard music and traffic in the evening. not an issue for me at all. slept like a baby and woke up well rested.

The location was absolutely perfect, couldn't have asked for better. Rooms were cleaned daily and the hotel had a real charm about it and nice atmosphere. Always somebody on reception day and night and made for a quick and easy check-in/out. The lift was a really cool feature of the hotel as was the roof terrace (although I think table and chairs/bench would have been a nice touch to take in the views.) I found the bed really comfortable. Yes the bathroom is small but it had a good, working shower and toiletries re-stocked if needed (bars of soap, shower gel and shampoo) Each floor shares a fridge should you need to store drinks or foods. Really nice breakfast room with a good variety of foods to start your day.

If you like a darkened room, I'd recommend an eye mask as light does come in from under and around the doors.

The room is perfect for a couple to stay with comfort. I didn't try the breakfast option, so i cannot comment about that. The hotel is easily reachable from airport by public transport. You can take Metro line 3 to go straight away to Monastiraki stop. It will take 50 mins to reach Monastiraki square. From there, it is just 5 mins walk to the hotel. The location was perfect to reach all important spots in the city - Acropolis, Acropolis museum, National Archaeological museum, Plaka, Anafiotika square, Omonia square. You can explore all these areas by walk (if you like to explore by foot) or you can reach all these areas using metro also. Plenty of good restaurants are there nearby to explore.

Nothing to point out specifically.

If I had to point out something negative, I would say that the air conditioning was a bit weak, and the breakfast was small with limited variety (although it is important to note that it was included in the price).

The room was clean, well-maintained, and provided all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The location was convenient, and I particularly enjoyed the experience of riding in the vintage elevator, which added a unique charm to the hotel. Despite its age, the elevator was functional and added a touch of nostalgia to the overall ambiance. I highly recommend this hotel for its satisfactory accommodations and its location.

Location was fantastic! Near Monastraki station!

Too many pickpocketers! But It's not Cecil's fault at all. Greece's problem! Pickpocketer took mobile phone in the Monastraki train. It destroyed my whole trip in the first place of my journey. I don't want to come again to Greece any more. I knew it did not help my report to police station for this matter. So I did not go to the police station spend my precious time there. We have travelled lots & lots of places within European nations include Italy, Spain, London, Paris......but this is the worst what so ever. Every single day already opened my backpack. Finally I ost my mobile phone!!!

Location was great. The room had an amazing view. Would be super happy to stay in this room again. The stuff was friendly and helpful. It’s not far from the metro. Breakfast is ok, nothing amazing but nice to get a cup of coffee and a yoghurt. You can hear the surrounding a bit which is not a big issue for me, but could be for people who have a light sleep. All in all it’s a nice stay for a quick stopover in Athen. I would book again.

Fruits, nuts and oats for the greek yoghurt would have been amazing. But there are plenty of places in the surrounding if someone is a breakfast or brunch person ;).

Great location just a short walk from the lively centre of restaurants and bars and the Metro. Room was very clean, quiet and had efficient air con and Wi-Fi, yet the beds were quite hard. 24 hour reception was convenient for a late night arrival.

Breakfast was simple yet somewhat cheap quality and we watched as the carton of orange juice was watered down to a pale yellow liquid in the jugs. Felt safe in the area but there are several homeless sleeping rough, one on the steps of the hotel one night.

The central location of the hotel is very good. I had a rooftop room where I didn't mind the walk-up since from the roof I had a beautiful view of the Acropolis. The old marble staircase with the ancient but well functioning Otis elevator is really charming. The lights in my room were generous and well placed.

The room was rather tight, I had to rearrange some furniture. The shower curtain didn't reach the rim of the tray so the bathroom got wet. The hotel is located on a very busy, noisy street. The breakfast wasn't exactly generous.

This was our second visit. The room on the terrace is rather small. But it was clean and comfortable. The view of the acropolis from a large terrace is fabulous. If you want to relax at night with a drink, you can do so outside room in comfort. Fantastic location, walking distance from everywhere. Breakfast is decent and filling.

Walking one stairs upto the terrace with bags. But the view is worth it.
