I feel as if I had a home in Athens now after I stayed at this hotel. The location was walking distance from the Metro and the Acropolis. The owner showed me a good way to Acropolis and the Metro station to take Metro to Airport. He even walked with me to show it so that I would not get lost. Very good breakfast and wonderful friendly staff, everyone! I enjoyed the conversation with them very much. I was debating between this hotel and a nice larger hotel. I chose this hotel as I wanted to have interaction with local Athens people. I made the right choice! They provided a very nice breakfast bag as I had to leave early, even if I did not ask about it. As other comments say, I am "really" glad that I chose this hotel. I even feel like calling to see how they are. This is not just a hotel, but offering a home coming back. Thank you very much for such a nice hospitality and memory of Athens and Greece!

Not really. They were just natural and nice helping me feel comfortable at home.

This little hotel was a great choice for out trip to Athens. We stayed 4 nights, we found everything in order, the room was spacious with every essentials we could need. We chose the no view room, which indeed has no view (there is a brick wall 10 cm from the window), but we didn’t mind at all. The breakfast was exceptional, wide choice for every taste 🙂 The staff was very kind! We could self-check-in at night when we arrived. The location is perfect, we had to use the metro only to get to the airport, otherwise it was walking distance from every sight! Our room was made up every day, cleaned. We also got a free bottle of wine :)

The only thing I can think about is the no view, but we knew that from the beginning, so everything was perfect for us :)

The staff at this little hotel were wonderful. We stayed at the start of our island hopping trip and again at the end. When next in Athens we will definitely stay there again. The location is on a quiet street but just around the corner from a wonderful warren of narrow streets with great cafés, bars and restaurants. It's a really safe neighbourhood. It is within walking distance of all the main historical attractions. Also, the breakfast was superb.

We had rooms at the back of the hotel and the window opened out onto a very narrow space with no light or view. Some people may not like this so ask for a room facing the street. However, the room was very quiet, so I would chose it again.

The staff were AMAZING!!! Everything we needed was provided almost immediately; everyone was nice and very helpful (especially when we checked out, the receptionist informed us about a strike and the nearby metro station being closed. She kindly provided us with information on how to get to the airport. Thank you!!!). We met Sam, and she's just a wonderful human being. Her recommendations for places to see, eat, and drink were spot on! The location is great—Psyri neighborhood, close to Ermou Street, with plenty of places to eat and drink just around the corner. It's also located a 7-8 minute walk from Monastiraki Metro Station. The room was nicely decorated, and there was a complimentary bottle of wine (perhaps because we were celebrating my birthday). Additionally, all the necessities were provided, along with an extra blanket, slippers, and a personal dental kit. Also, the breakfast was nice. It wasn't very big, but there were options to choose from.

Everything was good. No complaints.

We absolutely loved the property which was in a fantastic location (take it from an Athenian). The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. We were offered all the essentials including towels, toothbrush, slippers, coffee and even a complimentary wine. The staff were polite and we absolutely loved the blond lady from the breakfast team who made us delicious sandwiches for our take-away-breakfast. I am already thinking of going back next year if they keep their prices stable.

The shower pole looked fragile which caused us a bit of anxiety. It needs attention. You could hear everything from the nearby rooms and the corridor. However, the price of the room was too good to complain about this.

"GAIA is located in a lovely neighbourhood full of traditional Greek food restaurants,taverna , bar, desert shop, italian icecream ect..". All main attractions can be reached on foot. Exellent location, which made my first experience in Athena unforgettable. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, well equipped and extremely clean. It jmhas an coffee machine, tea machine and one bottle of wine for welcome us. Amazing i loved this detail. Varied choice of food for breakfast and all very tasty. I totally recommend this hotel and I would love coming back.

The hotel is a small family owned place right next to actions in a busy neighborhood, but somehow it's quiet enough to get a good sleep in the night. We basically walked to all the attractions during our stay, and the walk was actually enjoyable with a lot of shops and charming cafes along the way. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the breakfast was fantastic, they knew we had a early ferry to catch, so they prepared a bad of breakfast for us to take away, that was so thoughtful. And lastly, take their restaurant recommendations, cuz they were really amazing.

The room is a bit small, especially the toilet and shower.

Good location, walking distance to acropolis. The neighborhood is full of nice restaurants and bars. Great service. Very friendly and helpful stuffs. The pickup service price is even cheaper than Uber. Homemade Breakfast. A log of fresh made food. The salad was delicious. Oma even baked cinnamon rolls for the guests. We booked a family room with two bed rooms. The room size is big and comfortable.

We miss bread for the breakfast. Even though there was toast provided. Also, a small accident. I was locked in the bathroom in the middle of the night because the lock was broken. Have to knock the door and end up wakes up the entire family. Need to fix that.

Overall: I stayed with my husband and our 6-month-old baby in one of the family rooms. The staff made the stay comfortable and memorable for us! They had placed the baby cot before we arrived and helped us with our suitcase and stroller. We also booked an airport transfer and everything went well (timely pick up and drop off). Breakfast: The breakfast was absolutely great, and I loved the personal touch put by the staff into the food. Special mention for the banana bread and spinach pie, which were being made when we arrived :) Location: It was very close to Monastiraki Square (around 5 minutes walking) and the Acropolis. The metro was close by as well.

The staff was so kind and helpful.

The location is very good in many ways; walking distance to many popular areas. On the other hand, it was also pretty close to the poor and risky neigbourhood where there were lots of gypsies and disadvantaged people like refugees and I would not feel safe if I were travelling alone as a woman. Overall, it was not be a huge problem and we haven't experienced anything but this should be considered if you are traveling alone. Maybe staying in Kolonaki would be a better option.
