The host is very kind and enthusiastic. He gave us some good recommendations nearby and was always available to help. Service was great (very nice showergel, fresh towels and bed linnens, espresso's before we left). When you enter the building, you will find the most beautiful little courtyard. The apartment itself was spacious, clean and nice. Our favorite part was the amazing shower with great water pressure as well as temperature. However, we also enjoyed our little balcony which was a nice spot to enjoy the evening sun.

The neighbourhood could profit from more gentrification, like projects such as this, since there are quite a few of abandoned buildings. However Twin Circle Apartments is a true little gem, located just 20 mins (by foot) from the beautiful city centre.

George was awesome. Great communication, very friendly and accommodating. We even sat at the big table in the courtyard one night and had some drinks and great conversation with him, his lady and a man from Pakistan one night. At first, we had wished we had booked in Plaka, but after wandering around that, we were glad we were a short walk away from the sights and crowds.

It didn't bother us at all, but I can see if you were accustomed to only staying at high-end resorts, the neighborhood might come off as a little intimidating. We always felt perfectly safe however, and found many nice, little spots right around us as well.

This little boutique hotel is brand new. Very fine design and very comfortable. The owner george is amazing and took care of all our needs during our stay. We communicate with him before and during the stay and he was amazing. All is very very clean and well maintained. Very good AC (really raer in Athens) and really luxurious bathroom amenities.

It was a gem of an apartment. Very spacious for 2 /3 people but could fit more. It is spotless in every way even down to the gleaming wine glasses and cutlery. White good quality towels provided and tea and coffee very kindly left for us. Air con was excellent and we had a TV. Plenty of seating areas in apartment and the courtyard was very private and you could eat outside too. The metro is only a 5 min walk away and you can get to the main squares and sites very easily. There are also plenty of supermarkets and cafe bars nearby. The attention to detail just made this apartment so special and we felt very safe here. It is an oasis from the centre of Athens. I will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend. Thank you George for being an amazing host .. our trip was wonderful

That we were only there for such a short time!

It was an ideal choice for us - the apartment was spacious, beautifully furnished, and incredibly comfortable. We frequently enjoyed the charming courtyard, where we had breakfast or shared a glass of wine in the evening. The atmosphere was lovely, especially with the stunning tree growing from the center of the table! The host was friendly and helpful, and the check-in and check-out process was smooth. Having a supermarket around the corner was really convenient. I would definitely choose this apartment again if I revisit Athens!

In terms of location, the apartment was conveniently situated not far from different public transport options such as the metro, bus, and train. It provided quick access to the city center and main attractions. However, some nearby streets were a bit rough; we walked by a couple of times, especially in the evening when we, as women, were on our own. Although nothing happened, we didn't feel entirely comfortable. Nevertheless, walking to the metro or train station during the daytime was fine. Most evenings, we opted for a taxi or Uber, which was quite affordable.

My priorities were to find a nice one bedroom/kitchenet with a living area and a pullout sofa -a place that was immaculate modern and updated at a budget price. I picked Twin Circle for the great value and that it was a short walk to the Metaxourgeio, Athens subway station or if you want to hail a taxi. We used taxis and uber, A taxi was about 5-6 Euro to the Monastiraki area. Uber was 49 Euro to the airport. There are restaurants and cafes walking distance. I was visiting family in another part of Athens and just needed a budget place to sleep at night. I was pleasantly surprised that my room #6 (superior room) was a one bedroom apt style loft with a double bed in the bedroom and another one in the loft. The bathroom was upscale-modern with a great shower- much nicer than some of the expensive hotels I stayed at. This hotel met our priorities and needs and allowed us privacy as well not to mention the great bargain price. I stayed 3 nights, and my total was significantly less than one night in the Plaka area. If you are looking for budget value with upscale accommodations this is it. The location is not the greatest of neighborhoods. However the hotel is very secure with the Wyndham and other hotels just down the street. If location is important to you-you should move on. For me the price was right and I felt safe.

The location can seem sketchy or what is considered a bad side of town. However, lots of working-class people live here.

Perfect crash pad for exploring Athens - slightly out of the centre but could get into the thick of it in a taxi under five euros. Clean, great facilities, comfy bed, gorgeous communal courtyard. The host was lovely as well, and recommendations for food were great!

Be careful where you walk around the area if you want to walk to the centre - some roads felt a little unsafe as a woman, but the walk to the metro was absolutely fine and taxis are great

modern and clean with great attention to detail and some nice touches. Close to tube which was an easy and cheap way to explore the city. The shower was luxurious. George met us as the door to ensure we knew how to get in and that was apreciated. The courtyard was a bonus.

I wish I had known we could get here easily on the tube (blue line) straight from the airport. Might have been nice to have a map of the most direct route from the property to the metro.

We stayed here 2 nights before leaving Greece after a 3 week holiday. We love athens and discovering it every time we are here. This area is in full remodelling and is getting hyper with the second. The building was gorgeous, the shared patio super relaxing and peaceful, the room spotless and furnished to perfection. The owner very attentive and always asking if we needed anything. We will definitely be back!! Hidden gem!

Location was close to the train station, which was a plus. My accommodation was dream accommodation. Beautiful high-class fixtures, fittings, flooring, furnishings ... I couldn't have wished for better. I met Linda who so beautifully prepared my apartment for me. Although neither of us could speak a common language, Linda made my friends and I feel so welcomed, and joined us in a dance! The apartment was extremely soundproof which was wonderful.

We had arrived in Athens hours before the 2pm check-in. It would have been a bonus to have had a secure storage area at the premises where our luggage could have been left. We weren't inclined to use the paid storage lockers situated somewhere away from Twin Circles. Also we weren't successful in getting replies from George via phone or email when we were seeking assistance with transport from the airport and in relation to the luggage storage issue.
