The owners Achilles and Angeliki were amazing. They are very helpful, ready to answer all the questions and advice at which beaches to go. Breakfast was great, with hot omelet, fresh juice, pastry, cold cuts, fruits. The rooms has everything you need. Beds are very comfy

The facility is not new, bathroom really needs renovation. But for this price its difficult to find a renewed facility in this area, so its fair We did not like the town - a lot of traffic, nothing to see around, very noisy. But very convinient to visit various sightseeings in the western part of the island. As the room was facing the street, it was noisy too. You might need earplugs to sleep there.

A small 12 suite hotel located in the Stalos commercial district with beach access across the street and no end to restaurants and markets all within walking distance. There was no need to rent a car as the hotel owners arranged transportation from the airport and back with a trusted taxi driver they regularly use. Tour companies were plentiful for excursions on the island. The owner, Angeliki, and her husband Akilles, were very welcoming and kind. They connected each morning and evening with their guests at the poolside breakfast and bar area. Very quickly guests connected with each other and soon enough a culture of international goodwill developed The daily breakfast served was delicious - Maria, the kind and gifted cook and baker, prepared eggs to perfection and her homemade lemon marmalade was heavenly. A glass of wine at the shady poolside bar after a day at the beach was a great finish to the day and the opportunity to connect with other guests. The suite was very comfortable and clean and our bed was made up daily and towels exchanged regularly during our one week stay. It takes a little while for the hot water to make its way to the shower but it does come.The little kitchenette was perfect for making a light meal or snack. One recommendation would be to include two coffee mugs for guests who wish to prepare a hot beverage in their room as the teacups provided were small. Our suite faced onto the street but we enjoyed sitting on our balcony to take in the sights and sounds. With the shutters and doors closed at night we had no difficulty falling asleep.

We booked our stay at this hotel because of the raving reviews, and it exceeded all our expectations. Although I was initially skeptical due to its location in a very touristy area, it turned out to be such a delightful experience that we would return just to stay there again. Hospitality: The hotel is small and family-owned, and the owners are amazing people dedicated to providing the best possible service to their guests. Their responsiveness to any request or issue was indescribably quick. Accommodations: The room was clean, spacious, with very comfortable beds. Breakfast: The breakfast was amazing—it felt like visiting relatives and enjoying a family meal in their garden. They were respectful of dietary restrictions, which was really important for our family. Amenities: The pool was clean and felt safe. It became the meeting point for hosts and guests alike, fostering relationships because of the hotel's welcoming vibe and the owners' friendly attitude. Overall, this hotel offers a unique and personal experience that sets it apart from others. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay. We had an amazing time and hope to return.

Our experience was so good, that there's nothing to mention.

There are a lot to say to express our feelings and appreciation, but frankly speaking we felt like we were at home! The hosts being so friendly and warm; the rooms being spotless clean and the breakfast... with all those home-made jams, creamy-delicious yoghurt, feta and bakery... All was perfect and I believe it deserves more stars!! Thanks to Angeliki that she managed and provided us with everything in such a perfect way that we were really comfortable and satisfied... Additionally the hotel had a seperate open space for you to entertain your children or read your book...

I cannot think of anything bad at all :) but I may state, if this is needed, that the entrance path to the parking area of the hotel was a bit hard to find, as it was a narrow, small path... Maybe better to have a clear sign on the road to show the way...

Everything was very clean, fresh towels every time we needed ones, quiet. We also loved the products from the bathroom (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion) they smelled incredible, they are from the oldest olive oil enterprise from Greece. The biggest blessing was the breakfast which was fresh every single day and it was all traditional greek food. I loved the eggs, yogurt, orange juice, fresh fruits, fresh jams and the goat and sheep cheese was amazing. Angeliki and Achilleas were very kind, welcoming and they helped us with travel advice and made our stay better. I totally recommend this family business!

The owners are very nice and the services were just perfect The breakfast was home made and extremely delicious Everytime we needed something we had easy access to it umbrellas social games recommandation for restaurants and places to visit ect... We had a very special and Cosy moment and we were very sad when it ended but really glad and happy we've been there and we hope we'll get to come back one day Thanks tree of Life for making our vacation special <3

Everything was perfect!

Perfect size of family hotel - not to many people around. Location is absolutely perfect. Beautiful beach is accross the street. Some excellent restaurants around. Shops, markets, fast foods in vicinity. Bus stop from/to Chania almost in front. Hotel is cute, with fun design, nice pool, green area (inner yard), very clean, homey, nice breakfast served right next to the pool, kind and helpful staff, everybody's favourite cat Mitsos, and above all: Angeliki and Achilleos, owners of this lovely little hotel will bend themselves backwards to make your stay as pleasant as the closest relatives would do for you! ❤️🍀

The only bad thing is the fact that eventually holiday is over and you have to leave this lovely place...😔🏝😎🏖

The hosts were lovely. Every recommendation from Agiliki was worth its weight in gold! Taverns, beaches or shopping - great recommendations. Generous and delicious breakfast. The hosts think of every detail such as umbrellas that the guests can take to the beaches. Our every request was received with a smile and joy. Staying at the "Tree of Life" hotel upgraded the vacation. Happy to recommend!

An excellent hotel close to Chania town and 20 metres from the beach of Agia Marina. The hotel is very clean and the breakfast superb filled with traditional goods from the island of Crete. The garden and the pool of the hotel are offering a trully relaxing experience - ideal to escape and release your stress from everydays life. Last but not least, the hosts Angeliki and Achilleas are very kind, always there to help you and are the true meaning of the Cretan philoxenia. Would definitely stay there again when visiting Chania in the future!

The property was beautiful and so clean. Our hosts couldn’t have been more friendly and welcoming and made our stay relaxing and perfect. The breakfast was delicious and the hotel has a wonderful relaxing atmosphere. It is a very unique hotel in beautiful surroundings and the trip was made extra special by our attentive and caring hosts. We will be returning as soon as possible!
