The breakfast offered vast choices and everything was delicious. The location within walking distance of Agios was very handy.

If you’re a night owl it’s fine but if you like to have peace and quiet at night the music is loud and quite annoying. Take earplugs and you’re fine.

We liked everything: the staff’s work, the delicious and varied food, the location, the safety, the clean rooms, the nearby beach, and the friendly staff. We especially remember the employee at the beach (she was at the entrance of the beach), Veronika, and the girls from the restaurant.

The hotel didn’t provide free water at dinner (even though we had paid for breakfast and dinner at the restaurant).

Our stay was amazing during our Honeymoon. The room was amazing with a private pool and sea view. Atmosphere and vibes were outstanding. The hotel facilities was great. Staff were kind ad friendly. Food was delicious with variety of recipes everyday in the dinner. Breakfast was also very good.

- Drinks are not included in the half-board option for dinner. I'd love to have them included even with extra cost from the beginning. It wasn't mentioned or clear during booking. - safe storage in the room is offered with extra charge (€5 per day) which is too strange for a 5-star hotel. It's something a must in 5-star hotel by default in my opinion and it already exists in the room but you can't use it for free.

The room was spacious and had spectacular views over the Mirabello bay. We were upgraded to a room with private plunge pool which was an absolute treat! The restaurant staff were extremely professional and caring! Metre Michael is a joy to see in action. Everyone at the restaurant looked after our little boy with genuine care. We found the food consistently good and there was enough choice for each of our dietary requirements (low fat, Keto). The cleanliness in the rooms was very good. The Cretan night was good fun. The choice of pools was great and none were ever crowded. Two lovely beaches only 2 and 7 minutes walk away from the hotel respectively. A short 15mins walk took us into Agios Nikolaos.

The buffet restaurant got rather hot in the seating area, sometimes making our stay there a bit uncomfortable. We would have liked a bit more entertainment throughout the day. To us, that is the difference between a hotel and a resort, though it’s personal preference. We did not use the kids club so cannot comment on it. The indoor pool isn’t free to use. Some of the common areas (hallways, alleys) weren’t cleaned properly.

Cretan night evening was fun!

Miramare Resort has different kind of rooms and we received an amazing upgrade for our 1 week vacation there. Our room was clean and modern, with a small private pool outside!!! Fantastic!!! The view was breathtaking!!! Lola at the Reception was super kind and Nectarius was also helpful and professional. We did not use the hotel restaurant but we tried the near Meltemi & Gargadoros (few min walking distance), both very very good (overall the Greek food is delicious). And for a last drink of the day, we suggest To Votsalo (cafe' - bar) with a small lovely beach and fantastic view of the bay by night. To the other side of the Resort you will find the very nice Almyros Beach but if you have a car drive all the way to Voulisma (15min)!!! Maybe the best vacation ever had! Thank you Crete!

The resort consists of individual small ‘villas’ spread on massive grounds. The pools were very up to standard with comfortable beddings. Over the two night stay we opted to dine in both nights and the food was excellent with very good customer service.

The breakfast was a mess!!!! So many people in non air conditioned rooms! The breakfast is buffet style but the quality was not up to standard! On both two mornings we experienced unfriendly service and warm environment which definitely was off putting! On a different note the interior of the resort need refurbishing! One gets the feeling that it was built twenty years ago and nothing has been upgraded! The furniture of the villas are old fashioned.

The view from room 217 was exceptional. Perfect sea view and room was spacious enough for our family of three. Beds were comfortable and changed regularly. The pools were really nice and a very good temperature considering the hot weather. Customer service and the staff interaction were first class, very friendly and always very helpful. Special mention to the porter Adonis, he was so helpful from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Such a lovely man, friendly and helpful person who went above and beyond for our family from his help with luggage to sorting issues with our private transfer when we were leaving. He was a credit to the hotel.

Having a child and pram, the hills were tough to walk and some of the lifts were fully functional at all times. This is being picky though as we loved our stay at Miramare.

Great location! Our room was fantastic, quiet, large, private pool, seaside view. We had half board included. Buffet for breakfast and dinner was quite good, fresh food, you can always find something at your taste. They have nice cocktails at the bar too. Wee tried also restaurants nearby, very authentic and cheaper, and couple of times in Agios Nikolaos center (20 min walk).

We had a room on the top of the hill, so you should expect a lot of walk, be aware! They have a lift to go down to reception and main restaurant though. We had a steep walk to go to the beach too. Very hard walk when it is hot! Maybe hotel could provide a shuttle to go to beach and city center. For us it was ok, we really enjoyed the location!
