The location of this beautiful hotel is perfect, overlooking the port, harbour and Lake Voulismeni and only a couple of minutes walk from the lovely Almiros beach. The hotel is furnished to a very high standard and is immaculately clean. The lobby and bar area is airy and very welcoming. The contemporary decor offers a comfortable place to relax and eat breakfast and have drinks. Our room was a great size and well equipped with good air conditioning, smart tv, a small fridge and free safe. Storage was ample yet subtle, maximising the space. The balcony offered the most amazing view. It was furnished with a bistro table and two chairs and an external plug which was really useful. The bathroom was a good size and again, beautifully fitted out. The large walk-in shower was brilliant; really powerful with option of overhead or hand-held. There was also a really good hairdryer and the complimentary soap, shampoo and conditioner were replaced daily together with fresh towels and housekeeping. We stayed on a room only basis so can’t comment on breakfast. However, on check-in we were advised of serving times in case we did want to take breakfast as that could have be arranged. The staff here are all wonderful. They are all so welcoming and friendly. Our check-in was much later than expected due to our flight having been delayed but the lovely Soúla was waiting for us, long after her regular finish time. The general atmosphere here is friendly and warm, much like holidaying with friends. We simply can’t fault this wonderful little find and can’t wait to return.

What’s not to like!

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. It's cute as heck. Just so many little nautical touches. Super clean. Our room was huge, the bathroom and shower were wonderful, and we did pay a little extra for the sea view, which was 100% worth it. We parked in a small lot from behind the hotel for five euros, but careful, the guy who runs the lot is a little cranky! I'm not sure what the group ahead of us did wrong, but he yelled a lot and chased them away! However, we could have parked easily at the port which was 3 to 5 minutes walk away, or in the small lot behind the hotel. Even though I was pretty used to narrow streets in my tiny rental car, I didn't risk that! Breakfast right at the waterfront was also amazing -- a full buffet with everything you could want, and great cappuccinos. We were there in October, I'm sure it's a lot noisier in the summer, but not the noisiest part of town. The owners were delightful, and kept asking how we were, and if they could help. They provided beach towels and gave us some good advice on beaches nearby etc. Book here. Stop looking. This is the place. Pay a little extra for the sea view!

Everything was perfect

One of the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Crete. Super friendly people, excellent breakfast homemade and very complete so not miss it, high quality ingredients, different every day and so well cooked. We had a spacious room on the filth floor first, no sea view but confortable. Then we could switch to the sea view one for our last two nights with a balcony and it was just splendid. Super quiet can’t hear the neighbours at all. Every lady working there is so friendly and genuinely happy to do their jobs so so well. The location couldn’t be better. There is even a free parking two minutes walk. We also liked having a drink at the bar sorted in the comfy seats surrounded by the other happy guests before heading to dinner.

Maybe fresh squeezed juice in the morning, that would be the cherry on the cake with the luxurious breakfast.

The ladies who work at this charming boutique hotel are exceptional! They are cheerful and personable and make you feel right at home. They clearly love their work and working with each other. We felt pampered and cared for. Check in and out were smooth. We were departing at 6 am on our last day so they prepared breakfast packages for us. The daily breakfast buffet was delicious with a wonderful daily assortment of homemade food. They are centrally located with a great view of the port. They offered excellent suggestions for day trips and dining because they know the area well. They were accessible if we needed to call with questions. Our room had a large veranda with a spectacular view and a jacuzzi and lounge chairs! Wish we could have stayed longer and would love to stay here again in the future.

Everything was just amazing! Soula, Allison, Joanna and Jessica were just the best people you could ever meet! They made our holiday so special and were lovely! All the staff from housekeeping too were just wonderful! Couldn’t pick a better hotel in the area! We loved our room so much and wish we had of booked 2 weeks instead! Nothing at all! It was the best hotel we have ever stayed at! Everyone was lovely!

Stayed in room 401 which was absolutely beautiful. Amazing terrace with sun loungers and a spa bath. So private and had the most fantastic views. Parking was 2 minutes away in the harbour and was free, so easy to park and get to the hotel. Hotel is gorgeous, an amazing little gem of a find in a perfect location. Facilities are great, clean, tidy and the room was lovely. Lastly and most importantly the staff made our stay. They are all so friendly, helpful and welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Will definitely be coming back

Nothing it was perfect

The hotel is in an outstanding location for a visit to Aghios Nikolaos: on the front overlooking the bay and with a view to the central lake and a 5 minutes walk from it. The room was clean with a very comfortable bed and regular changing of towels. The municipal car park (free) was a few minutes away. Breakfast as buffet style and comprehensive. Our stay was made special by the warm welcome and attention throughout of Joanna on the desk and Alison, the dining and bar manager. We have no hesitation to recommend the Hotel Port7 to anyone proposing to stay inAg Nik.

Nothing!

The staff here is unbelievably nice. My husband and I stayed here for the first nights of our honeymoon. We were greeted by Allison and she was so friendly and relaxed. When we got to our room they had left fresh fruit and some wine for us. We had the top floor with a HUGE balcony overlooking the town/sea with two lounge chairs and a hot tub outside! It was incredible. The room itself was clean, cute, updated. The bathroom was nice too! Our friends came home with us one night to see the room and all 4 of us unfortunately got into the small elevator together without seeing the weight limit, and we got stuck :( It was the middle of the night and we called the hotel/pressed the button until someone answered. Finally they said they were sending an employee that would arrive in 5 minutes. Sula arrived and helped us out of the elevator. She hugged me and my friends like she was our concerned and relieved mother and gave us all water and orange juice to make sure we were okay. She even stayed after to make sure we knew she was there if we were scared or got stuck again going up. I almost cried when she hugged us like that it was so sweet. She was SO kind to my new husband and I and even told us to come back when we have a baby later to visit - like family. It was such an amazing feeling. We stopped by with our friends and spoke with her a few more times before we left. She is such a lovely woman and we really cant wait to come back with our family one day since they treated us like family as soon as we got there. We love you all!!

Nothing!!

This super cute hotel has views of the lake, bay, and ocean. The port is directly at its front steps, and the town is a hop-and-swipe away. The room itself is nicely laid out with a comfy bed, little desk and coffee station, shoe bench and a coat hanger, great rain, and handheld shower with an actual sliding door, and balcony (splurge for the view). Parking in the back of the hotel that dead-ends is pretty convenient, as is the port-free parking. As if the place couldn't be any cuter, the staff made up of Jessica and Johanna at reception were the sweetest and most helpful we've ever encountered. Because of them, this is our go-to when we come back again. Additionally, Allison serves a nice selection of breakfast buffet especially the yummy cakes, and you can also order eggs to your preference with seating inside and out.

The air conditioner worked well but did make a funny noise

Awesome location, great breakfast, very large bathroom (especially the shower), very friendly and helpful staff. There was a small mix-up at the beginning (they had marked that we didn't signed up for breakfast), but the issue was quickly resolved and we got complimentary bottle of wine in our room.

The parking should be available in the port, but for the whole duration of our stay (3 days) there was no vacancy. One day the parking in the port was closed, other days it was just full. The parking in the town is tricky and it is very hard to find something close by.
