We loved the staff - so friendly and kind. We loved the location - an easy walk into Fira for an evening meal and so close to Anhydrous winery and their brilliant wines. The accommodation was very clean and beautifully decorated.

Very few things. We stayed for quite some time so it would have been nice to maybe see more variety for breakfast and we would have really welcomed a bit more home cooking / fresh produce e.g. freshly squeezed orange juice rather than from a carton; pastries made by the property or from a local bakery. The only other thing was just a thing that we personally didn’t like much - but will probably appeal to many people - we didn’t enjoy the music blaring out by the pool and it meant we spent a lot less time relaxing at the hotel than we might otherwise have done. But really everything else was wonderful.

Beautiful place just outside Thera. We had an amazing time @Abasa Suites. We had a family house, which is really huge with separate bedroom for the kids and a living room, fully equipped kitchen, patio with a jacuzzi and even a hangmat :). The house itself is outside the main complex and provides a lot of privacy. The place is a small drive to the center of the city (there is a free parking just across the hospital), we had a car and I must say that it is a must - it is a good walk uphill to the center if you don’t have a car. Staff was really nice. The water on the islands is not drinkable and especially on Santorini it is even salty :), there is a filter water provided by the property so you don’t need to constantly buy water.

Our Junior Suite room was excellent, and I’d highly recommend it. The room is very spacious and the addition of the private hot tub was greatly appreciated after lots of walking. The grounds were immaculately kept, and the staff are very friendly. You definitely need car hire though as it’s a little bit off the main route. If I did this trip again though I’d hire a quad instead as lots of people had them and they looked great fun for getting around. Tajina on reception is superb, nothing is too much trouble and her parking tips alone are a god send (especially for Oia where parking is a nightmare). Highly recommended but remember it’s not really an easy walk to Fira (so hire car) and it’s a small collection of suites (so nice a cosy if that’s what you want). It was perfect for us :)

Breakfast options could probably be better.

I had a wonderful stay at this property! Its location is fantastic, only 5 minutes away from Fira and about 16 minutes from Oia and the island's main beaches, making it convenient to explore the area. Tijana, the host, was exceptional - incredibly friendly and genuinely caring about our experience. The entire staff was professional and attentive. The breakfast served was absolutely delicious, adding to the overall delightful stay. Highly recommended!

This is a perfect hotel for vacation. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly the breakfast very delicious. I didn’t realize Si had left my backpack which contains my wallet, driver’s licenses and credit cards in the taxi until I got back to hotel after the first night out in town. I immediately notified the hotel owners Irini and Lefteris . They continued the restaurant and the taxi company immediately and personally drove to retrieve my backpack. I was very touched by their personal service and thankful for their kindness act. We have a 6:30AM check-out time and they prepared breakfast for us at 6:0AM out of their business hours. We are forever grateful for your hospitality.

Abasa was wonderful! The room was huge! We had so much of our own space in our own private courtyard and room. The breakfast was magnificent and the cooks/servers were so amazing and sweet. Even when we requested an earlier breakfast, but accidentally slept it, they cooked us our breakfast later. The host was also so sweet also and very honest, which was quite kind. She prepared us well!

The host told us that we NEEDED an ATV to get to Fira, and this was very wrong. The walk is mostly uphill, but it is very short and an ATV is most definitely not needed. We were already planning to get one for one of the days, but she kinda intimidated us into getting one the whole time we were there instead, which was not necessary at all. The pool was small and didn't have a ton of space to relax, but we never had to fight for space near it, it seemed like people were generous and not hogging the chairs or space. In addition, the hot tub never got HOT, it never got above ~34 C (93 F), so it was warm, but not to the point where it felt like a normal hot tub.

we loved our stay here! it is a great property with very comfortable rooms. the room is quite fancy, super comfortable and loved having a balcony. the pool is a nice touch, with nice seating! the breakfast daily was an amazing perk! the staff were very friendly and helpful on telling us where we should go for dinner and which excursion to do!

the only downside is the location- just a bit far to get into town. we rented a car for two days. my suggestion would maybe consider having a free shuttle into Fira as it’s costly to have to rent a car or take an Uber! would definitely recommend a car to at least see the rest of the island with it!

This hotel is located quite cluser to airport and Fira city centre. It took about 15-20min to reach hotel by taxi and Tiajiana arranged it prior to our arrival. Aitport transfer was very smooth. Room was very spacious and bed was so comfy. Breakfast was good and the staff delivered it to room as we slept well past our breakfast time 😂. It had a good variety. We got alot of reccomendations from Tiajiana about local restaurants and cafes. You can easily reach city center as it is roughly 15min walking distance away from Abasa suite. You get free water from kitchen and we managed to use microwave until 9pm everyday. That was very helpful. I saw some even using the kitchen to prepare meals. Staff in Abasa are so helpful and that makes a huge difference to your stay. Room was clean and AC made the temp just right for a comfy sleep. Unfortunately we couldn't go for a swim as pool was quite cold. There is plenty of space outside of the rooms for kids to play. My son made new friends and managed to play with them outside for quite a long time. It was really nice to see kids playing all sorts of games rather than being glued to screens. Tiajiana arranged a sunset tour for us with Yiannis and this was the best decision I made during our holiday. He was an Amazing tour guide. We saw almost the whole island and it was very nice and relaxing right through out. Please don't miss sunset in Oia as that experience is simply magical! Oia is like a village one finds on a fairytale!

We had the family room with two bedrooms and two bathrooms and it was so spacious! The rooms were so well designed and so clean. The property as a whole was just lovely and the parking was fabulous —-especially in Santorini where you want to be sure there is a place to park. Some reviews say it was too far from Fira but we didn’t think so for our situation. It was a very central situation so you can explore all areas of the island. It is below the town of Fira but only a few minutes up driving or maybe 15 minutes walking. The staff is very friendly and Tijana will meet you with so much friendliness and enthusiasm when you arrive. She has lots of suggestions about where to go, where to eat and is just so helpful. Our room was upstairs with a long veranda and view towards the sea—-loved it and had coffee on the veranda each morning. The breakfast is served on the main level outside and was wonderful too!

The property was perfect as a base to explore Fira & the whole island. The whole complex was spotlessly clean and the team were on hand day and night to advise and ensure we had the most wonderful stay. Tijana was the perfect host and did everything possible to ensure we had a memorable and relaxing visit.

Santorini is obviously a very hilly island and the 15 minute walk from the suites to the centre of Fira is a little hilly. That said, we would highly recommend the accommodation and taxis are readily available should you decide not to walk.
