Aperto Suites is a boutique hotel with stunning views of the caldera. It features 7 suites, 4 of which have terraces and jacuzzi pools directly out your door. Two of the suites are traditional cave rooms with indoor jacuzzi tubs, but without a direct view of the water. These suites has a private terrace up a couple of flights of stairs. The last suite has views of the water, however, the jacuzzi and terrace are located above the suite requiring climbing of stairs. The "honeymoon" suite is located at the top of the property and offers the best views. A picture of it recently came up on an ad to follow ThisEarthBeauty Instagram in our Facebook feed. We stayed in this suite which is built into the side of the hill and is open and spacious. Christine and the staff are very helpful. We unfortunately arrived in the wee hours of the morning due to flight delays so Christos was not available to bring our luggage down. He did however bring it all the way up the stairs and out to the street on our departure. Christine stayed up till nearly 3am to greet us and get us checked in. She was always available via text/Whatsapp and arranged transportation to/from airport, to restaurants, and other parts of the island. She also arranged dinner reservations on one evening. The staff was always very responsive to our requests. We needed beach towels for a trip to Elafonissi and they were delivered to us within 15 mins. And when we wanted the temperature of the jacuzzi to be warmer, it happened in under 5 mins. They were also able to provide us with ice each evening at our request. One of the best parts of staying at this location is having breakfast delivered to your terrace each morning. You select the items you would like for breakfast and the delivery time the night before and Christos delivers it promptly to your terrace in the morning. Wonderful experience sipping our coffee and dining with the spectacular views of the island.

As with most Santorini hotels with great views, there will be steps to go up and down. That might not work for some people so be aware.

Aperto suites was one of the best places I’ve ever stayed! It was clean, comfortable, affordable and had the most wonderful customer service! The free breakfast was so good and they had quite a few options to chose from. you also cannot beat the views. The sunset from here is amazing! Antoni at reception always recommended the best places to eat and always showed us how to get to certain places. He was also kind enough to carry our bags down the steep and windy steps, which we are forever grateful for. Athena was so great in setting up transportation from the cruise port and always checked in to make sure we knew she was available to help. The bed was so comfortable, the jacuzzi was lovely, and they even give you a bottle of wine, coffee and tea for free. It is centrally located and accessible to many places as long as you’re in shape to take all those stairs up!

I’d say the one negative thing is the room did not come with a dresser or closet. So, you really did have to live out of your suitcase and there was also no safe in the room to keep valuables.

Room was clean, equipped with all basic facilities. Hot tub inside the suite; Excellent view of the sea; Very good breakfast.

Although the following are the norm for most of all the suites in Fira (to be fair): 1. To reach the terrace, one has to go out of the room and cross in front of other people's room and the kitchen; 2. Terrace is facing / touching / adjacent to other people's terraces (not much privacy); 3. Lots of stairs to go down from Fira's main square to the property. Stairs are not so comfortable to walk on (tend to be slippery), especially when going down / up with the luggage; No window in the room. Although it is well ventilated, the room still tends to be humid.

First time In Santorini and we stayed at Aperto Suites, (FIRA) I am extremely happy with what we chose with our budget . The hotel was expensive but for location wise, views and quality. I would say it was a high standard hotel.next door was the Athina and they looked about the same quality but Athina was a little too expensive for us. As you look at Aperto the colour schemes were perfect and well maintained compared to others in the area . Youshaf the guy on the reception gave us the best room in the hotel. The breakfast was gorgeous and the service was really amazing and one of the lovely gentlemen carried our suitcases from the drop off point to the hotel as it is a 1 minute walk away. (It doesn’t seem a lot but there are a lot of cobbles and up hill and downhill pathways to get to it . Extremely good location and would recommend this hotel but please try and get the room we stayed in! Thank you for a lovely stay , we will be back x

Fantastic location surrounded by amazing views and brilliant restaurants, Super helpful and friendly staff who are knowledgable about the best places and restaurants to go to. Amazing cave style rooms, breakfast delivered to you room, your own hot tub with views to die for. What’s not to love. This place is incredible. Couldn’t recommend it more. A perfect holiday.

Having to leave aperto suites to go home :(

The view from the room and the balcony was great. We had an amazing time here. It all depends on what suite you get. Luckily we got the one with the best view. Some suite has a tree in front which hinders the view. Not every suite has a jacuzzi right in front of the room. We had it upstairs, so we had to go up everytime but that was not an issue as the view was amazing. Also we just sat there and enjoyed the sunset from our terrace when everyone was looking for a spot to sit and enjoy it. Undoubtedly one of best stays in Fira. The location was central. It was near to all the restaurants and market. The mornings are awesome as you get the breakfast served on your balcony every morning.

If you book an airport transfer from the hotel, Don't expect a private transfer. It would most likely be a big van picking up and dropping many people at different hotels near by.

The staff could not have been more helpful, from booking taxis, restaurants and excursions, they made our trip so easy. The honeymoon suite felt private, yet offered full views of the caldera which made it very special, especially during breakfast and at sunset. The overall aesthetic was beautiful and they take pride in keeping it looking picture perfect by touching up any scuffs with paint.

Hotel location is really good and convenient to fira town. Breakfast was fabulous with incredible view, nothing was too much for them. The team that looked after the hotel was a husband, wife and their son , they were so friendly and nice. Christina at reception was also very helpful and friendly. It was a great experience sleeping in a cave room, a very small place but nice.

Didn't like that we kept bumping into the corner of our beds. The corner of the bedframe is dangerous.

The Aperto suites is in the center of Fira sitting atop the cliff overlooking the sea and the caldera. The white washed walls of the hotel make this place spectacular! Christine and Kristos were incredible from beginning to end by first Kristos carrying our luggage from the top of the stairs down and arranging our breakfast each day, to Christine making sure we had everything we needed in our room to helping us find great lunch, and dinner spots. They truly made our trip a better experience than we had imagined.

HIGHLY recommend!! Everyone must stay here once in their life or is absolutely incredible. The views, the service, the breakfast!!! 1000/10. The owners make everything so easy and simple. Nothing was a hassle! The hotel and view looks better in person than in photos. I will definitely be coming back here.
