The location facing the caldera is jaw-droppingly beautiful. Every hotel competes to claim the best view. Villa Renos takes the prize! It is a charming, stylish hotel of great character with beautifully appointed rooms. Villa Renos is in the throbbing heart of Fira as you enter from the street but serene and panoramic on the caldera side. Lovely outdoor hot tubs and sunbeds to rooms 2 and 3 both of which I stayed in. There is a cute but adequate pool and lounging area. Breakfast is served in an olde worlde dining room with interesting art pieces or on a terrace with fabulous views. Help with baggage is available. Vassilis is the Go-To guy and a most charming and personable manager/ owner. There is a fabulous vibey bar attached to the hotel on the Main Street.

The breakfast at the Villa Renos was exceptional, like a full meal with several courses! Delicious homemade "starters" like potato omelette or spinach and feta in filo pastry - all home-made. (We were given a different starter every day.) There was also fresh fruit (with yogurt and honey if desired), toast and preserves, fresh orange juice, chocolate marble cake and to crown it all, a little dessert to finish. All graciously presented in a lovely little breakfast room. I have never had a hotel breakfast like it before. Wonderful. The room I had was simply and beautifully decorated and led onto a balcony which had those outstanding views over the caldera that everyone dreams of looking onto. Last but not least, the hotel's owner, Vassilis, and his staff were at all times helpful and friendly. Vassilis was always ready to provide information about places to see or restaurants on the island and was very attentive to the comfort and needs of his guests.

There is nothing at all about the Hotel Villa Renos that I didn't like. There are steps down to the hotel which might be difficult for those with less mobility, but steps are part of life in Santorini.

Everything about Villa Renos is just exceptional. Starting from the location. Right in Fira but you can easily escape the sunset crowds on your own private balcony or at Villa Renos' own Bar&Café with the most spectacular sunset views (If you have a private jacuzzi on your balcony even better). The staff are exceptionally friendly, funny, helpful and just amazing. The breakfast is fantastic! Prepared in their own little kitchen, which must have formerly been the living area of the house before it became a hotel. I can only recommend to stay there and experience it yourself!

Everything! From the location, staff, breakfast, views and location. The location is the perfect to get everywhere and as places to eat or drink are walking distance within a few minutes. The breakfast was amazing with different freshly cooked options daily. Service was brilliant from checking in to checking out. Helped us with all our bookings for excursions and recommendations. The views for sunset were so good from our room that we did not need to go out for this as could do this from our balcony or hot tub. Special thank you to Kristophe as made our stay seamless.

Beautiful hotel with excellent views. Owner Wasilis is very accommodating and guests want for nothing. Breakfast is cooked fresh and the menu changes every day. This hotel/home has been in the family for over 300 years

I cannot think of anything that I didn’t like. Everything was great.

The location couldn't be more perfect. Just a short walk to the main bus station, accommodation has the perfect view of the Caldera and is at the top of the cliff side so no walking down to the second half of the cliff. Even though close to the centre of the main shopping and restaurant areas it's quiet and serene so you're not disturbed by the masses of tourists. The owner and staff are super friendly, always asking if they can do anything for you (in a non-intrusive way) and are always ready to help if and when you need. Breakfast everyday was different and super delicious!
