very well located property, best sunset view right out of your room. very good staff. make sure you select their room with private pool, don’t book their room with loft, its very small. you may not like that room if you are claustrophobic, other than that this property is spot on and checks every mark on quality and conforming. Very good chef and fantastic food.

IF YOU NEED TO GO OUT FOR RESTAURANTS, BE READY TO WALK ON UP AND DOWN HILL WITH THUMPING HEARTBEATS :D, BUT IT WORTH THE VIEW…

This boutique hotel is amazing!

It was cold due to the wind. Additionally the wind was extremely strong. As a result no one wanted to be at the pool unless dressed in warm clothing which I did not have. Also with it being so windy difficult to read a book, etc. My room was very close to the pool. I could be out as long as in the warm jacuzzi. The bar staff did not want to serve any bar food because I wasn't actually at the pool (water cold in pool too!). The bar menu had great options and I got out my warm jacuzzi and ordered. The food was great! Even with me buying many drinks I was told if I wasn't at the pool, I could not order from the pool menu again. I understand the rule but wished there was flexibility due to the cold, wind and my willingness to spend money.

My sister and I spent an entire week at Athina Luxury Suites and we loved it. The beauty of the pool space, terrasses, the view and the professionalism and kindness of all of the hotel staff are definitely the main features of this hotel. We would totally recommend. All of the staff, from the reception to the pool staff, restaurant staff, and housekeeping team. Absolutely all of them had been amazing. Thank you so much.

One little red flag about the rooms (or at least ours) in the Honeymoon suites section which were quite noisy/ not greatly soundproofed. Other than that - nothing to report.

I just saw on Facebook that the team at Athina have just won leading boutique hotel in Greece by the World Travel Awards. This is well deserved as our stay was fantastic in all respects. Lovely staff, great facilities, pool area stunning, room large. Peaceful even though its in the centre of Fira. Highly recommend staying here.

Be prepared for stairs, but that is the small price you pay for the incredible views. And no need to go crowded Oia for the sunset, you get a beautiful sunset from almost every aspect of this hotel.

- amazing view of caldera from honeymoon suite - ⁠room was comfy and cozy - ⁠inbuilt speakers in the room - nice shower/rain shower - breakfast was really good and brought to the room with a news print - ⁠great hospitality from staff whom communicated through whatsapp and always greeted and chatted - jacuzzi with awesome view - ⁠had people to help us with our luggage during check in and check out (check out was super early in the morning and they still assisted) - ⁠complimentary wine bottle delivered straight to the room

- no change of pool towels - many steps to hotel but then again unavoidable

Our suite was BEYOND FABULOUS!! It was the stuff of social media dreams! The balcony with private jacuzzi, spacious interior and luxurious bathroom were so special. To enjoy the magnificent view of Santorini and caldera while in the jacuzzi and enjoying the delicious breakfast was the perfect celebration of our vacation.

While i huffed and puffed with every stair (and there are a LOT), I think it was the price to pay for staying on the side of a cliff. But definitely wear good shoes . . . luckily we did not have any issues nut I did see other tourists with arm sling (not at our hotel but on the island).

The staff at the front desk and at the bar were some of the most polite and helpful people I have ever had to deal with. The view from the room was breathtaking (despite having to breathe in the fumes of the damned cruise boat that was at anchor for the whole first day!). I loved the bean bag chairs in the balcony!

Style over substance; the cave suite (or whatever the name was) looked a little fake. It wasn't bad, really, just overpriced. Take into consideration the endless stairs - after the fifth time we had to climb them, they became somewhat of a nuisance.

WOW. Exceeded all expectations. Our room was upgraded on check-in, the customer service was incredible and genuinely caring and nothing we asked for was a problem. Great breakfast menu choices (you could have it served in your room or in the restaurant at your chosen time) The pool area, sunbeds and view were the best we've experienced. The location of this hotel is perfect, walk up the stairs and you're in the heart of Fira. Cannot wait to go back!!

We had an amazing stay at Athina Luxury suits. The facilities, staff and the location everything was perfect. The best part is the view which is simply mesmerising and impossible to describe in words. The location of the hotels is the best one on santorini Island. 3 mins from main bus stand and all the amenities are within 300 meters. Staff was beyound exceptional and the way they guide us is uncanny. We got the room no 9 and without any doubt that's the best room in the whole hotel. The view of sea and mountains plus the hot pool right in front of our room makes everything unforgettable. Lastly they have the best breakfast one could have. The variety and how they serve is unmatchable.

Nothing in the hotel, however please be aware not to carry very big and heavy trolley bags as there are plenty of stairs from main road to eneterance though the guys from the hotel did and amazing job to carry our luggage (worth mentioning it was 32 kg one bag) but better to carry light weight multiple bags.

Luxurious accommodation on the cliffs of Thira, fantastic pool and swim up bar and superb views of the sunset. Rooms have private balconies looking out to the water, and breakfast provided in your suites is exceptional. Rooms even have a pillow menu to choose your pillow. Staff will collect your luggage from the top of the stairs to assist you in bringing them down the many flights of stairs. The restaurant is outstanding and a must for dinner. Would recommend. Communication from the staff was excellent, recommendations sent via WhatsApp.

You can hear noise from the local clubs at night and there a many stairs, however this is for info only, not a negative on the hotel.
