So close to the bus station but away from the hustle and bustle of Fira. Amenities nearby (supermarket, restaurants, bars etc). Pool was lovely with comfortable sunbeds. I was really impressed with the way Alex took the time to explain the whole island of Santorini to us at check in (and was always available to answer any questions). It meant we got to see some beautiful sunsets away from the crowds. The breakfast had lots of options (eggs, bacon, sausages, pastries, yogurt, fruit etc).

The bathroom was a little dated (shower didn’t have great water pressure) and there was no hair conditioner provided in the bathroom amenities. For our room, we had to go up lots of stairs to reach it - although I do believe this is pretty standard across Santorini/Fira as everything is built on a hill.

Lovely hotel, the family who run the hotel are so lovely, helpful and friendly. Really good breakfast in a morning, I had peaches, cereal and Greek yogurt, which was delicious. Lovely pool area for chilling around. You can buy drinks from the hotel bar and sit round the pool to enjoy. Local bus stop is just around the corner, great for exploring the island, it only cost 2 euros, we visited Oia, Perissa beach, Kamari beach and Pyrgos. Rooms are lovely, I slept really well, we had a balcony with a sea view. All the shops and restaurants in Fira are a short walk away. This hotel is in a perfect location.

Everything from the moment we arrived was simply perfect with the location being in close proximity of the town centre and bus terminus. Friendly family run business all of whom were so friendly and engaging and willing to help wherever possible. The checkin was done to perfection with all relevant and useful information being shared. The rooms were simply delightful and well equipped. Our room was private even though it was litterally next to the large, well-kept swimming pool. The breakfasts were a real treat with a large variety of well Prepared foods, enough to keep you going all day. Check-out was a pleasure, too, with the transfer, arranged by the hotel, arriving well on time. Well done, Hotel Sunrise!

Nothing we didn't like.

Our room was large, clean and beautifully decorated. Hotel Sunrise is about 60mt from the main bus terminal and 100mtr to the main shops, supermarkets and restaurants. It is a family run business and all of the family were helpful and welcoming. When we first arrived, Alexander gave us a map and went through things to look at as well as restaurants etc. The breakfast was also good. The pool was magnificent and they supplied pool towels for free. I would highly recommend this hotel when staying in Fira, Santorini.

The bed was a bit hard but it depends on what you are used to.

Everything was great! Alex was so welcoming and showed us to the room. There was a balcony which was awesome for chilling. Alex also taught us everything the room consists of and even recommended nearby restaurants with clear instructions. Area was just a 5 mins walk to any restaurant and there was even a gym 2 mins away! We had a wonderful time being served by all the staffs and we enjoyed every minute of the stay. We also signed up for a volcanic tour and once again, Alex, took his time to explain all the options prior to signing up. You can tell there is dedication to this family run hotel and everyone was so helpful. Many thanks!! We will definitely come back to this hotel if we ever return to Santorini! :)

First of all, the greeting by Staff was excellent, providing valuable advice, room design, illumination and bed comfort were outstanding. Breakfasts was more than we can expect in an inclusive rate. Location is super excellent, we saved a lot of money travelling from Oia by bus instead of taxi because the hotel was a couple meters from the bus terminal. We are very grateful for the kindly attention by the staff to our requirements and questions. They always have been there to help, special thanks to Alejandro and the lady who was in charge of administering almost everything, that we forget to ask her name but she made us feel like at home. Thank you so much we will never forget those days and would recommend to everybody travelling that city Sunrise Hotel.

Room no. 16 - by far the best one (bit separated and next to the pool, which is nice arranged & tidy)! Very beautiful, 1 min. to bus station, 3 min. to supermarket - very central! Alex was so helpful & service-oriented! Internet fast & reliable

Some people complained about the breakfast, but for a 2 star hotel it was absolutely ok (good coffee, fresh pastries and fruits, service personal very friendly)

The Hotel Sunrise is really well located : easy to find for drivers and pick up for activities. The bus terminal to go to all the places including Oia, airport etc. is located near the hotel, at 2 minutes by foot ! So convenient, no need to rent a car at all ! The place is confortable and clean, we had a 2 floor rooms which is really convenient when you have kids that still have naps ! The kids loved to play within the swimming pool, but the water was still a bit cold in May. And last but not least, the people working for the hotel were really kind to us! A big thank you to Christina, Alex and all the team ! We will definetely come back !

The location, 5 minutes walking from the bus stop in Fira. The room was nice, the swimming pool is great! Breakfast was also very good. The staff is friendly, specially Alexander. Thank you for the recommendations! They offer an option of car rental from the hotels, so you can leave the keys directly when checking out, which is very convenient.

The bed was too soft, and the room opens directly to the swimming pool area, making it not so private because of the sun beds next to it.

The staff are all very helpful and friendly. You feel like you are staying with family. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the rooms are spacious with a fridge. The pool is deep enough to swim in and there were enough sunbeds. Only a two minute walk to the bus station and no more than 10 minutes into the town. However there are places to eat very close to the hotel and a supermarket.

I could not find any fault with Hotel Sunrise. We had an amazing week here.
