The 180' panorama over the entire Caldera from the terraces outside the rooms is absolutely sublime! It surely is one of the most beautiful views in Europe. The sunsets are silent and mythical. Despite being only 3 minutes walk (70 steps, but be warned : Santorini means steps...) to the central road of Thira, the hotel doesn't get all the noise from the bars that play music for the Aperitivi Hour. The owner Yiannis, and his staff Ellie, Sandra and Irene could not possibly have done more to make us feel welcome and comfortable. It's rare to find hotel staff - each and every one of them -so genuinely kind and helpful. Make use of the Hotel taxi service from the airport because it will save you hauling your bags down the steps. We used the public bus service, which goes virtually everywhere and is quite entertaining...but perhaps hiring a car is more reliable. Not least so that you can eat in the beach Taverns, for example in Perissa, or the charming Marina at Vylchada. We'd recommend seeing first the Prehistoric Thira Museum in Thira, then the 9D movie on the devastating eruption of Santorini in the Lost Atlantis Museum, and THEN visit the huge, very impressive, quite moving, excavation site at Akrotiri. The guided visit up the Kameni Volcano is well worth the effort. Beautiful Oia is a must, but not neccessarily to see the sunset because you get a magnificent view from the comfort of your own terrace at the Keti Hotel!

Santorini can be unexpectedly windy and chilly, so take the right clothes.

The best thing about Kety is the staff with a special mention about Elly who did everything she could to make our stay memorable (restaurants, visits, advices…) The Hotel is very well placed a bit on the side of the very busy Fira and it’s too many tacky shops. More privacy than most of the hotels we have seen on the walk Fira-Oia where many people can just overlook on terrasses and pool like in a zoo… Keti is well hidden while still a few minutes from the center. Breakfast is very good and the atmosphere will probably be even warmer when Covid measure will end. the views from the shared terrasses and the little pool/jacuzzi area are stunning.

Bedding in the superior room are ok but not great for this price range to our opinion (mattress, bed length, pillow…). Still we would again pick this hotel because of the location, breakfast and friendliness of the staff. Some rooms are more pricey and probably offer better comfort.

My husband and I stayed at Keti for three nights on our honeymoon in early June. We booked the pillow view king suite and WOW the views were absolutely breathtaking and we were so thrilled to also have so much privacy! This hotel is in the perfect location... right in Thera but set a bit away from the high foot traffic areas. It was so peaceful and private, but an extremely short walk to all the hustle, bustle, and fun! The staff was incredible. We were so pleasantly surprised by the daily customized breakfast - WOW this was such a wonderful way to start our day each morning. Our room was very spacious and the bed was so comfortable with an incredible view. We LOVED the hot tub and amazing lounge chairs on the patio. Highly recommend Keti - I will be dreaming of this place until we can return!

Only thing that was a minor inconvenience was the shower situation - it is pretty wide open in the bathroom so the floor gets wet when you shower and takes a while to dry. Didn't bother us much though!

We would more than highly recommend a stay at Keti Hotel. The owner and staff were fabulous and very helpful in answering all our questions and providing suggestions for local things to do and places to see. Even prior to our arrival, they responded to our emails promptly and offerred assistance and guidance to how best to get to the hotel. We stayed in room #9 and would recommend it. The room was very spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. After experiencing Greek showers over the previous 2 weeks, we so welcomed the spaciousiousness, consistent hot water and rain shower head. It also had a seperate balcony in addition to the shared space in front of the room which provided privacy and a panoramic view of the caldera. Its location is perfect not only for it's amazing view of the caldera, but for exploring the city of Fira as well as close access to bus lines to explore Santorini.

No surprise, but expect several stairs to navigate to which they fully prepare you for within the hotel discription.

The location is perfect! Stunning views, comfortable, clean room and great bathroom with a nice shower. The location is great as its a short walk to all the shops and restaurants of Fira but not so close that you feel like you are right in the thick of it when trying to relax at your accommodation. Keti is also a few stairs down from the main walking routes so you dont get passersby able to see you on your balcony/pool/breakfast (alot of other accommodations have this issue in Santorini). My favourite parts of the stay were the helpful and friendly staff who were so efficient in assisting us with a scooter rental and airport/port taxis. The breakfast was delicious with a nice offering of sweet and savoury so I could have a different breakfast each morning.

I really had to think hard to find any issues. My only suggestion would be to add a kettle and tea/coffee facilities in the room.

The view in this hotel was outstanding, the service, the breakfast were awesome. The bathroom was large and clean.

The room we had was large but it had three twin beds that weren't very comfortable not sure why they had this configuration but most of the guest were couples as were we but we rented this room because it was inexpensive. Access from a cab or shuttle to the hotel property is challenging with all of the stairs, it was definitely worth every penny to pay for the shuttle fee to be picked up at the airport/ferry and have your luggage carried to your room.

Best location if you want privacy, beautiful views and easy access to Fira bus station, restaurants, local supermarket. Arranged a person to bring bags down from street to hotel. High quality custom ordered breakfasts served by friendly staff. Private access to a pool and personal balcony for sunsets.

Down pretty far on the ledge. Great for the views, but the stairs to get to the main Fira street can be tiring if you plan to visit the room several times a day. The price for privacy in a central location.

Everything! The food, the location, the view, the staff..we had our own balcony and we had an amazing view of the ocean and the volcano. the hotel is just 5 to 6 mins walk to the local bus station, cable wire station, the local market area, supermarket, ATM. You're near to both upscale and local eateries. The hotel can arrange a ride to pick or drop u from d airport or ferry port for a reasonable fee. You need to give them a heads up though at least a day before or earlier when arranging a ride because it can get very busy. Overall the hotel was a key point to our very comfortable and relaxed vacation =)

The rock suite far exceeded my expectations. The view and the very private, yet very central location made for a perfect stay for us. The room was *very* comfortable. Huge bed. Fun lights in the bathroom. Great water pressure. The hotel staff was incredible - very helpful and knowledgeable, and very kind and gracious. Breakfast was delicious. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I admit I was wary about booking a three star hotel, but the reviews I read for this hotel were glowing and it checked all my boxes for our intended stay, so I went for it and am very glad I did. Hotel Keti may not have all the amenities of a large hotel, but I find the 3 star rating not indicative of the quality and care this hotel provides. I’d rate it higher. The rock suite gave us just about complete privacy. We could leave the blinds up and have a huge, unobstructed view of the caldera from both the bed and couch in the room without worry. The balcony and its jacuzzi are also very private. The hotel itself is located several steps down footpaths from the main pedestrian street, and the rock suite is further down than that. There are essentially no neighboring units or buildings to the suite, except for the adjacent suite which is partitioned off and also very private. The view from the suite (and the whole hotel) is obviously beautiful at any time of day, but the sunsets were spectacular. We found no need to fight the crowds, and caught each sunset while lounging in our room. John and his staff were welcoming, kind, attentive, and just all-around wonderful.

rooms were beautiful and had everything we needed. The staff was very accommodating, they carry your luggage up and down the many steps for you! the breakfast was some of the best food we had, all homemade and made to order every day. I’ll dream about the santorini tomato eggs and bacon! They had a small pool that was good for our purposes. I think the views from the Keti are the best you can find in Fira. we didn’t bother going to a restaurant for sunset because we had a great view from our balcony!
