My husband and I recently stayed at Sunshine Studios in Malia,Greece,and we had absolutely wonderful experience.From the moment we arrived,we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff,who made us feel right at home The studio apartment was spacious and clean, bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring we got good night's rest. The location of Sunshine Studios is perfect,we found plenty of excellent restaurants, cafes,and shops. Overall,our stay stay at Sunshine Studios was exceptional.It provided the perfect mix of relaxation and enjoyable stay in Malia.We look forward to be returning in the future!

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Sunshine Studios in Malia. The apartment was beautifully appointed and came with everything we need: a hairdryer, iron, kitchenette with a tea kettle, toaster, small fridge etc. They even provided extra sheets for those cooler nights, which we particularly appreciated. Nikos, the host, was incredibly helpful and attentive, tailoring our stay to fit our needs perfectly. He gave us fantastic recommendations for the best restaurants, must-see places, and exciting things to do around Malia. His local insights truly enhanced our experience. The pool was a fantastic addition, providing a refreshing escape on hot days. Overall, our stay at Sunshine Studios was memorable and thoroughly enjoyable. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay in Malia.

Nikos was so helpful and gave us great tips on places to go and looked out for us our whole stay, so friendly, especially as we just moved as our previous hotel was not very good he was very accommodating. Room was light and airy, good air con unit, very clean and well presented. In an amazing spot as a short walk from everywhere you would want to go. Quiet hotel and was never kept up by noise but only a short walk to the strip so the best of both worlds

Have to walk around the corner for the pool but we wasn’t booking for the pool and didn’t use this much anyway

Starting with the host who helped us a lot with everything we need, the rooms here beautiful, recently renovated and equiped with everything you need. The cleanliness was spotless. Clean towels refreshed almost daily, trash can emptied, tidy up the beds. It has it's own parking right in front of the studio.

The only minus is about the bathroom that needs a refresh. The toilet seat was old and the bowl had some cracks. Even so, everything was clean and that is the most important part. Since everything else was perfect, I will not deduct a point for this and give this acommodation a solid 10

WOW!!! I arrived to Crete super early in the morning off a ferry & was looking for a place to stay in Malia. That's when I read the reviews for Nikos and the Sunshine studios & apartments & they couldn't be more correct.. Niko's is an absolutely wonderful host, accommodated me at very very short notice. The room was clean, airy & looked very recently renovated. The location is perfect as it's close to everything but not too close as for it to be loud at nighttime. & the beds.. OMG !! When I get home I need a new bed, that's how comfortable these beds were.. I have nothing but positive things for Nikos & the staff of Sunshine studios & apartments, if your thinking of coming to Malia, this place is perfect & I can't recommend it enough!!!

Nothing nothing nothing

the location is perfect and the host Nikos is very helpful. We forgot to ask for baby bed before coming but they were prepared and they offered us a bed and a baby high chair. plenty of restaurants around the property still it’s very calm during the night. we had access to the pool which was very good. the rooms are big and the bed is very comfortable.

the only negative point is the shower since there’s no curtain or a glass separator

Enormous value for money!! We were staying in Elounda but wanted to do one night in Malia. Booked same day! Nikos is such an unbelievable host. He gave us so much information on not only Malia but all of Crete for the remainder of our trip. He also upgraded us for free because the room we booked was next to very noisy young lads and he thought they would disturb us. Can’t say enough good, hotel was spotless, good location, comfy beds. 10/10

Nikos was very friendly and helpful, we felt very welcome from the beginning of our stay to the end. Location good for central Malia whilst still relatively quiet (off the main strip). Good pool, comfy spacious room with good air conditioning. Small but nice balcony. Ideally located for supermarkets, restaurants, and not far from bus stop if coming from/going to Heraklion or other main destinations on the island. 10/10!

Usually I would have rated the place 9 (nicely located, clean and comfortable), but with Nikos this turns into a 10, thanks to his kindness, his great advices on restaurants & bars you should visit (or those to avoid), and the fact that he is always there if you need anything. The swimming pool (next door) is a nice addition of course! Thanks again, cheers!
