Nice aparthotel in a quiet location right next to the old town and about 20 minutes walk, depending on which beach you go to. Restaurants, bars, supermarkets, ATMs, laundry service etc are nearby. Everything was very clean and the rooms were cleaned regularly. There are two pools and plenty of sun loungers to relax on. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The value for money is also very good. I would gladly stay again, I can recommend the accommodation!

In a good location in the old village,quiet at night and kept secure by Dimitris.Well looked after by all the family,Fay,Georgia,Chris,Eva,Spiros and the kids Yiannis and Eva,oh and Thanos.Thank you to you all for a great time.Good facilities and a great atmosphere, very helpful with anything you need, nothing too much trouble.Have to mention the cleaners, lovely ladies who are very thorough and efficient,thank you.Good food menu and all cooked fresh by Mum Eva,again whatever you want when you want.Overall a great stay.

Stayed here for 2 1/2 weeks - absolutely lovely place to stay. All the hotel staff were very kind and friendly. Rooms cleaned often, bedsheets + towels changed often, no extra cost except €20 cash deposit. Georgia and Faye were especially amazing with recommendations and generally making my home away from home feel very comfortable! Location is close to the beach and even closer to the strip. Would recommend :)

Perfect place. The complex has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Very close to the bus stop, large supermarkets and bakeries nearby. Walking distance to the embankment. There was daily cleaning, regular change of towels and bed linen. The employees are smiling and positive.

A bit strange old system with wifi. You need to receive a paper card and it is only valid for one device. But the Internet itself worked well.

I loved everything about this place! It's close enough to the action but far enough away to be more peaceful. The facilities are great, the pool great, the bar is superb with great prices. The room itself was really comfortable and a decent size. Even the other guests were really friendly and kind. A special mention to Eva who sorted out a mechanic to come fix my car when it wouldn't start one morning! Can't wait to return to this lovely little hotel.

We had a lovely stay. We booked an appartment with 2 bedrooms and it was very comfortable. We loved that we had the bar by the pool. The location is great, you can find 2 shopping stores nearby. The walk to the center is 15 minutes. We dined at the Red Lion and I cannot reccommend it enough. The people at the reception were all very kind and helpful. They looked for a fishing trip for us and gave calls and made sure we got to do the trip. Overall, we had a great stay.

We loved everything about our stay.

It was so peaceful and relaxing. Very clean and maintained. I loved getting a small map of the area upon arrival. Everyone was so wonderful to be around, even the housekeepers were very nice.

I didn’t like having to leave. LoL When booking your stay at Happy Days, make sure you stay longer than 2 weeks.

Rooms were spotless, very modern , had everything I needed and more, shower gels, excellent kitchen appliances , the fridge was perfect also found a courtesy bottle of water nice touch . The whole building was clean, the bar had a great selection of drinks and food, spoilt with 2 swimming pools, sun beds were very posh and soft,nicely situated in the old town and a short walk into town and beach

Can’t believe I could fault a thing 😉

First of all the property is very clean and well maintained. It is perfect spot outside of the party-infested central Malia. It is just beside old town with multiple amazing restaurants within 5 min walk. Beach is just 15 min walk which was perfect for us. If you are after a little bit more quiet beach time I would highly recommend Potamos Beach which is 30 min walk but it is worth every step. Staff in the hotel were just amazing, helpful, positive and very open. Rooms are very clean, nice bathroom and studio kitchenette and we spend our evening on a spacious balcony. Comfortable beds, a lot of power outlets, nice towels and bedding. Clean and well maintained pool is available and not crowded.

This was my 4th stay here and such was the conviviality of other guests and hospitality of the hosts and staff I stayed for a further two weeks.If you are looking for independence and ease of access to anywhere in Eastern Crete this is the ideal location,with the appreciated advantage of being sufficiently distant from the craziness that has somewhat characterized the image of Malia.I cannot wait to return.
