Damianos Mykonos Hotel

Staff was SO kind and helpful! The (included) port pick-up made everything so easy. We were given complimentary pineapple juice immediately upon arrival at the hotel and given a map with all the sights we should see while in Mykonos and tips on travel. I felt as if the male staff member checking us in (maybe the owner?) was so happy to have us as guests and genuinely wanted us to have the best possible time. The breakfast selection was excellent. As other reviews have mentioned, the walk from the city back to the hotel is a steep and oftentimes uneven climb (it does provide a great view though)! Would not recommend for elderly or those with mobility issues unless a taxi is utilized. We were fine with the exercise after eating so much but it is quite steep. I would definitely stay here again.

First of all, from the first moment you arrived at the hotel, they came to take our luggages with a very welcoming manner. We have seen in many hotels polite staff. The reason we mentioned this point is because these particular staff are the champions in politeness. The room was beyond our expectation. It was much more modern and beautiful compared to the pictures in the booking. The room was clean, they had all the necessary amenities and the hotel also provide free beach/pool towels to its customers.The buffet breakfast was very nice with a good variety of products. There were homemade pastries/pies or sweets which were different everyday. Last but not least, surprising strong wifi! Definitely recommend this hotel!!

Loved this hotel! It was very clean, beds were comfy, shower was nice and powerful, rooms were a good size with full length mirror in the wardrobe, safe and a small ironing board. Good lighting in the room as well (I hate it when they are too dark to do your make up!). Transfer included to and from the airport for 20€ was easy and smooth. Communication with the hotel was brilliant. Katerina on reception was amazing and so helpful, recommended us places to go, all of the staff are very welcoming and helpful! The view from our room was amazing, the sun sets right in front of the hotel. The pool isn’t big but we didn’t go there for that as we were out everyday but a nice option to have if you want it. It is a walk down a path into the town which is steep and uneven in some places so just be aware. We knew this beforehand from reading reviews so knew what to expect and you’re in Mykonos so everywhere around there is hilly! Overall we had an amazing holiday and really happy with our hotel choice, thank you!

Nothing, hotel was great!

Amazing areas, inside the rooms and outside, everything was extremely clean and well organized. Staff was very kind, always available to support and concerned about our well being. We were able to check in before the planned hour ( thanks a lot!) and our room was bigger than expected! The bed was so comfortable and they offered the transport to the port to leave Mykonos. Breakfast was very complete and good. Peaceful place to stay and also to see the sunset! Highly recommend Damianos.

The staff were amazing and the service was top quality. They picked us up from the port and dropped us to the airport, they took our luggage for us and gave us lots of information about the area. The service by the pool was great and the food/drinks were lovely and good price for the area. The hotel is 8min walk downhill from the main town and 10min walk uphill on the way back so location is good. The room was really nice and very clean. The hotel was our favourite one on our travels around the islands.

The only thing was that the bathroom door was tough to open but everything else was great

I was at Damianos recently and I have nothing but praise to say. The staff is friendly, helpful and they are always smiling. They provide you all the information you need about the island. The location is very good, 5 minutes away from the bus stop, where you can get a bus to they beaches. Also, you can go by walk to mykonos center (10 min go and 15 minutes back). They have a great pool. Furthermore, they have a complimentary pick up from the port/airport that helps a lot. I definitely recommend this hotel, it’s great value for money and they deserve all my compliments!

Everything perfect

Awesome stay ! The hotel offers a pick-up and drop-off service to the airport or the port; they were super flexible as we had delays in our ferry due to weather conditions The services at the hotel are great ! Reception is perfect (24/7) with lots of suggestions on restaurants, visits, beaches, car rental or arrangement of transfer or taxi services if needed The breakfast is just what you need, rooms are very clean, big (beds are very comfortable) and every room is separate so very private with a cosy terrasse The pool is open until late (9pm) which usually is not the case in all hotels, it is very clean; there is a bar service and they serve (good) food at the restaurant all day until 10pm !

It is very close to the city center, 10min walk, but the only bad thing to say (if I really need to find one) is that it is a great walk down to the city but to go back to the hotel is mainly a climb - nice for digestion though !

Complementary pick up and drop off from either the port or airport. Very welcoming and helpful staff. This place looks way better than the pictures showed it on booking.com! I felt like I was on holidays here. Very mediterranean resort vibe style in the pool/grounds and our room was modern, comfy and spacious. The mattress was a medium feel. We had a balcony ocean view room and loved it. Whenever we asked for a request (eg a different pillow), it was listened to and assistance provided. The hotel was close to walk to Chora, the windmills and Little Venice. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel that takes you to the different beaches. The breakfast is amazing with many choices to pick from. We loved our stay and would return!

It is a beautiful place, all white with great views from the pool side. Thanos the owner was amazing with tips and soo friendly. Special thanks to Panos (Sorry if I spelt it wrong) for your hospitality and Dimitri for helping us to/from the accommodation, even when our plane was delayed. The resturant has amazing food and drinks. Be aware that to reach closer to the city centre it is a path down a hil, about a 10-15min walk. But we are more than happy for this to be away from the crowds & it wasn't very strenuous, it would be an easy drive with transport.

Amazing experience! The staff is extremely nice and helpful, since the shuttle from the airport until the check out everything was great! The property is well preserved, clean and beautifully decorated. The pool and the restaurant have an unbelievable view, they have a pool bar and the restaurant food is really good. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and clean.

Nothing to say about the hotel itself, but it’s at the top of a hill, so if you plan to do things on foot (which you should because the city center is very small and you can’t get in with cars) you have to keep in mind that is a big walk up. Nevertheless, it is what makes the view from the hotel so amazing… I’m just mentioning so people can be prepared (it was totally worth for me!)
