A lovely period hotel in a quiet street in the beautiful old town, close to the castle and beach. Very friendly and helpful staff and an excellent breakfast with home made cakes and spanakopita, and freshly squeezed orange juice. The rooms had an attractive faded elegance. The bed was the most comfortable we had anywhere in Greece.

Some attention to maintenance issues is needed. For example, the (otherwise very nice) bath in our room had black mould on the sealant which was unappealing. We stayed two nights and the room was not serviced- this may be normal for a short stay but it would have been helpful to know.

This lovely hotel is right in the heart of Nafplio and just a 5 minute walk from the free marina parking. It is run by a wonderful, helpful, and very friendly staff, who will give you excellent recommendations and interesting history. Our triple room was large and nicely decorated. Air conditioning was also excellent. We were a quick walk from shops and restaurants-but the street was very quiet at night. The breakfast was delicious and offered many yummy choices, both hot & cold. We are looking forward to returning again.

Not a problem for us, but be forewarned that there is no elevator, so you must be able to climb stairs. The tub/shower has a high step in as well.

The personnel was very kind, and the breakfast was fresh and with nice variety of items: fresh orange juice, tea, coffee, greek salad, eggs, little pastries, yogurt, cereals, dried fruit, nuts, homemade jams, and homemade deserts. The place was clean, and I had a little balcony, the AC was working fine. The shower has good pressure and hot water.

Inside the bathroom, the shower sliding doors don't close properly (too old), the door to the balcony was also difficult to open and close (too old again). I couldn't figure out the wifi on my floor/level, but I only stayed one night. The little fridge barely can maintain its temperature to keep things fresh, but not really cold.

Cute little hotel in a good location, easy walk to everything including the bus from/to Athens. Very friendly and kind staff. Great breakfast buffet including home made sweet and savoury pastries/pies/cakes and jams. Only 5 mins walk to the town beach, which is definitely worth a visit!

Nothing really, the room was perfectly suitable for a solo traveller. Perhaps the shower cubicle could do with an update, but everything in the room worked and was kept very clean.

Dias is in a perfect location to enjoy all that Nafplio has to offer and it’s a wonderful property. We had the room at the very top, which required going up 3 flights of stairs - but it was spacious and had everything we needed. The breakfasts in the morning were incredibly good and all homemade. We still talk about wanting that breakfast, even though we stuffed ourselves all 3 mornings!

Our stay at Dias was great. The staff were very kind & helpful, offering a map & suggestions of the area. The room was clean, comfortable and had a great view of the fortress. The breakfast was fantastic - all fresh and homemade. The location was perfect...walking distance to everything.

The only negative was the ease of noise carrying through the old house. Footsteps are easily heard and having a child with us, it was challenging to keep him quiet so as not to disturb the other guests.

We stayed in Dias in October 2022, and it was a lovely visit. The hotel can be easily reached from the harbour (free) parking area, and it is located in the old town, so everything can be reached within minutes - the harbour and the sea promenade, central square and other locations in the old town. The staff is very friendly, and they advised us on really good dining options, as well as provided with other useful information. Excellent breakfast was served, offering local food. A bit more variety would be welcome, but the quality and quantity of breakfast was great.

the owner and his family were extremely friendly, helpful and informative. They had excellent coffee and a m quite enjoyable breakfast, much of which was home made. The home made Spanikopida among several others were excellent and no complaints and we were quite satisfied. we were a party of 4 and and had 3 separate rooms. and yes we would definitely stay again. there was nothing we did not like. we all felt very welcome and safe and the room prices were reasonable. I have only GOOD things to say.

liked everything. but mid-May some construction on the main entrance street but this was not the owners fault and only temporary. we had no problem accessing the hotel with a short Walk around the corner. but we did NOT mind the very minor inconvenience. so, do NOT treat this as a ‘don’t like’. my wife and I would/will stay again!!!!

Excellent location near to the old town of Nafplio - not too close that it's noisy from all the tourists, but less than 1 minute's walk away from the city centre. As well as this, about 2 minutes to the beach and steps to the fortress of Nafplio. Room was small but well-equipped with a really nice shower. Excellent breakfast with homemade jams and spinach pies, but the staff were the highlight of my stay. They are a lovely family who are very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable on the history of Nafplio and Greece! Don't be afraid to ask them for things to do, or about the beautiful city.

Parking is a bit of a nightmare if you have big heavy bags: there is free parking always available near the main Nafplio roundabout and port, but it's a 4-8 minute walk away depending on your speed. A place anywhere closer is difficult to find during the peak season.

We were welcomed by a wonderful young man who gave us local history and sites to see and there locations. Very welcoming. Our room was a good size and roof top balcony with great views. The breakfast they serve is exceptional. All traditional dishes made by staff of the hotel. Location is walkable to Port and all old town.

I had requested a certain room which happened to be on the top floor not realizing several flights of stairs with no elevator in this historic building. It was a choir with our heavy suitcases and lots of stairs to navigate over our stay. It would be heplful to future guests to know this as I'm sure some may not be able to manage this feature.
