This family run hotel is an absolute gem in Nafplio. Our room was spotless, the yummy breakfast was just right with something for everyone, and the service was fantastic! The owners went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and even helped us with our luggage up and down some steep steps when they could see we needed help! Tell me who does that anymore in America??? Just be prepared it’s a little tricky to find the hotel. Once you are at the intersection of 25is Martiou & Andrea Siggrou (small ruins with an eroding lion on top of an arch) go a little further up Andrea Siggrou. It looks like it dead ends, but there’s a tiny, almost invisible side street before that on the right side called Papanikolaou. Take that to the square next to the hotel.

Everything about this hotel is wonderful. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was the biggest gem of all, it was big, beautifully decorated with views of both the castle and the sea and included a little balcony on which we relaxed in the evening. The hotel is located in the old town so it's close to all the shops and restaurants and is just a short walk from the sea. The one thing to bear in mind is that if you come with a car you'll have to find parking at the entrance of the old town as the old town doesn't really have parking. I could not recommend this place enough! We will be staying there again for sure.

Excellent, impressive, grand hotel, steeped in history, centrally located within the beautiful, historical town of Nafplio. Spacious, airy, well-equipped room, including balcony with a wonderful view overlooking the town with its ancient sites and the sea beyond. Lavish breakfast with everything you could possibly want, to be enjoyed either in the restaurant, on the pretty terrace outside or on your balcony. Super friendly and accommodating staff. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and providing us with an extremely comfortable, enjoyable and memorable stay in lovely Nafplio.

The rooms were large and very comfortable, the staff extremely friendly and very helpful, and breakfasts were gorgeous with lots of home made pastries. The hotel is beautiful and incredibly well located, close to everything and a little higher up in town, making it quieter and easier to get to the beach. I can't imagine a better place to stay.

The only thing to bear in mind - which is not a criticism of this hotel, since it is the same for all hotels in the old town, is that they are not accessible by car. This is part of the pleasure of staying there, but but you just need to be prepared to take your luggage from where you park to the hotel. For us this was only a five minute walk, so it wasn't a problem.

Very stylish building in traditional 19th century architecture, fully renovated on the inside, very comfortable rooms, fully equipped with cupboards for clothes, water boiler for coffee and tea, fridge, full airco. Nice isolating windows with wooden blinds that let the air in if you want. Very nice renovated bathroom. Perfect location to visit the pedestrian historic city centre. Very nice breakfast with localy made food

Nothing really, there were some road works just outside but they were finishing and closing up (mid June 2023)

We really loved our time in Nafplio. The hotel is perfectly located in old town so close to all restaurants and cafes but tucked away a little from noise. Loved the hospitality of the hotel employees. The room was spacious and had a lovely outlook over the town and church. Really pretty place. We love walking and the hotel is closely located to walking trails and historical landmarks.

Great location in heart of old Nafplio. Hotel itself is super clean, updated, and the service and warm shown by the family that runs it is exceptional.

Like most properties in old Nafplio, there is no parking at hotel so connect with hotel on how to drop off luggage for check in and check out which they made super easy for us.

Everything: the historical building, the clean and quiet room, the convenient location, the yummy breakfast, the pleasant personnel. Probably the best you can get for this price point in Nafplio. Try Pidalio taverna 10 min walk from away … excellent creative Greek cuisine!

Excellent room, cleanliness, staff, breakfast, & most especially--the best shower ever!

A little bit difficult for those with mobility issues due to parking location & steps--but this was ok for us & I would definitely choose to stay again. The owner was a great guy & helped us with our bags.

Very friendly owner and staff. Hotel is in a good position in town away from the tourist hustle but just a short walk to the main square. Large, well equipped rooms with nice views of town and harbor. Very good breakfast. Elevator was very useful as our room was on the top floor.
