A nice clean modernised hotel room with a balcony with a lovely view down to the sea and across to the mountains the other side. Very spacious with kitchen facilities included. Bed very comfortable and all very clean and fresh. The hosts were very nice and friendly. It was 20 minutes walk to the old town of Nafplio which is very beautiful and atmospheric. Lots of boutique art shops, cafes and restaurants etc. The hotel was good value and we enjoyed our stay. Ancient sites nearby eg Argos and Tiryns.²

Tho only downside is it is up a steep road that some might find difficult.

Huge room, very clean and one of the best showers we’ve had during our stay in Greece. Small kitchen with everything you need to make breakfast. Large balcony with view over the fortress and harbour.

It’s a little way from the centre (20mins walk), which was fine for us but bear in mind it’s uphill coming back, which may be a little challenging for some people.

Vasilis hotel is truly delightful, offering stunning views of Nafplio and its fortress. Our room was spacious, featuring two big beds. The air conditioning kept the room perfectly warm, making it cozy even during the rainy December days. Everything was newly renovated and spotless, including a generous bathroom. We found all the comforts we needed right there. Plus, the city center of Nafplio is just a short 5-drive away. The hotel owner was incredibly welcoming! We had a fantastic stay at this charming hotel. Highly recommending.

The hotel felt like you’re in your house. The room was so clean and big. It provides everything. I had so many spaces for storage too. The area is so peaceful and relaxing and the view is exceptional. The hosts are a family who owns this hotel and they make you feel like home. So friendly and helpful. There’s also a small bonus detail that they have a vending machine for snacks and beverages that you can use any time you want. My wife enjoyed it a lot too. If you want to stay somewhere affordable in Nafplio I definitely recommend it. It was worth it. Definitely 10 out of 10.

- A couple flight of stairs to go up to the apartment, but we did not mind - Parking spots are limited, there are about 7 parking spots of the hotel and another 4 on a public parking right next to it. Also would be hard to manoeuvre for a larger car. Make sure you don't get there too late, or it might be challenging to park (we did not have that issue) - Some kitchen equipment was very dirty like the juicer, but the rest of the apartment was very clean

Clean Mini kitchenette with basic items like toaster oven + hot plates + fridge + sink + utensils / dishes. Large room just for me Working AC - yay! Staff seemed nice but I only spoke with them for like 5 seconds.

It's a little far for walking to the main square if you were doing it with little kids or something. It's maybe 15-20 minutes walking. Wifi was unreliable and slow for me. Sometimes it worked fine, other times it didn't work almost at all. Room was not quiet. I could hear everything from everywhere all around me. At 8am the construction guys started working near the back of the room outside the building and it was quite loud in my room. The sound just bleeds right through the windows from outside even with the windows closed and latched and the walls from the neighbouring rooms. I could hear every word the people in the room next to me were saying.

We liked everything. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The location was elevated with a wonderful view of the sea and Palmidi castle. A lovely stroll to the old town. Convenient walks to the local community markets and old port. Room was large with self contained kitchen and big balcony. I highly recommend

Vasilis Hotel offers spacious and clean rooms away from the city center. The rooms are fully equipped for a family to stay for weeks and have a comfort balcony. The staff is friendly and ready to satisfy the needs of the customers. The view is good and you can see the back side of Palamidi Castle and even the sea since the rooms are located in a little higher altitude. The rooms are a little far from city center but within 15 minutes walking distance from the central bus station.

The biggest problem was the complete lack of sound proofing. You could hear everything from every other room and that was a little tiring at times. The beds were a little firm in places and the pillows were too fat and firm. Finding a parking space around the hotel can be a challenge when the hotel is fully booked (and so does the hotels around it in high season).

Amazing hospitality from the owners. The balcony is ample and equiped with table and chairs, so you can relax while watching the excellent view of the fortress and the bay. Not far from the city center, easy to reach from the inter-city bus station. Everything functioned as expected.

You need to walk uphill to reach the hotel if you don't have a car, which is expected given the view it offers.

It's an adorable hotel with very comfortable and clean rooms. The staff were kind and helpful and we really loved the super friendly cats hanging out on the terrace! The view from the hotel was stunning, it's the best view of the palace in the whole town and you can also see the sea. It was really lovely and we can't wait to come back to the gorgeous Nafplio and stay here again.

Just a bit of a safety issue, some of the electricity cords seem to be melted off from the mini oven. It would cost next to nothing to exchange them and you could be preventing something serious from happening. Aside from that, nothing!
