Staff are amazing and couldn't be more helpful with providing advice, we followed all of it to a T and never went wrong. Breakfast has a very homely feel to it, it's a buffet-style but with a personal touch as they make your eggs and bring your sliced fruit and coffee to you. The building, its history and the atmosphere are all amazing, as is the cleanliness, which is immaculate. We stayed in the Pegasus Suite, which is very big, comfortable and with great aircon. Location is perfect, close to everything a tourist might want: beach, old town (bang on in the middle), high street, and rent a car for some sightseeing around the island (which I recommend doing at least for a part of your stay). All in all, exceptional service and we were very happy with our stay.

It's an island and water is scarce, water pressure in the shower could've been a bit higher but it didn't bother us at all - it's to be expected. Only listing it here because I know some travellers have a high expectation here so it's worth mentioning.

Our suite was fantastic. From the amenities to the decoration. It was just perfect. The building itself was something to admire. It was an old building from the Venetian times. Of course it was renovated but still holding the historical aspects of it. The breakfast was also really good. It included fresh orange juice, freshly made eggs, local pastries and local fruit. I loved the little garden where we had breakfast every morning. I also appreciated it that there was a back door we could enter or exit without going through the reception every time.

The only thing I have to say here is that the tap in the bathroom was splattering water which was a bit annoying. I forgot to mention it when I was asked for feedback. Other than that everything else was great.

We loved everything about this property and can’t say enough about how welcomed we felt! We chatted with Anna who made us feel like family besides the other staff members and wanted to make sure we were well taken care of. They even helped with parking and retrieving our car! The breakfast area was amazing, with stone architecture and a garden like setting and there was a variety of amazing local foods for breakfast! We had a newer apartment which was roomy, quiet, clean and comfortable. It was only a few minutes walk to all the shops and the port. Great place to stay! We hope To visit again!

We loved it all!

This is the most perfect hotel! Everything that could have been thought of to make a stay more pleasant and memorable had been covered - from the beautiful clean rooms with huge comfy beds to the fabulous staff, who were professional, knowledgeable and so friendly and open. Very easy to walk out and wander around the old town for hours; 15 minute walk to fantastic beach; brilliant souvlaki joint two minutes walk away. Extremely good value, will certainly return to see Ana and her crew when we can!

nothing, it was perfect.

This is a family-run ‘hotel’ in a heritage building beautifully adapted for its purpose and in a peaceful street in the heart of the Old Town. You can choose your breakfast and the terrace in which it is served. I asked for a banana omelette which raised eyebrows but was beautifully cooked! The family - particularly Eva and Manos and their mother Anna - were delightful, obliging, and a source of knowledge about Rethymno. Our bedroom had a small balcony, a large comfortable bed, a shower with endless hot water, and many kitchen facilities which we never used: with restaurants like Avli/Raki-Bar-Raki nearby, the temptations of eating out were too great. Highly recommended!

Everything was excellent.the property was absolutely beautiful, the people running the apartments and everybody who worked there were fantastic. It was absolutely awesome from the second I arrived until the second I left. I will definitely go back to Rethymno and stay at Casa Moazzo, and my 2 friends who stayed at different apartments were so impressed with Casa Moazzo that they will book to stay there aswell, if they return to Rethymno.

There wasn't anything to dislike. I can't think of k e negative thing to say.

Should you have the good fortune to stay here you will be pleasantly surprised. It is well-appointed with very attractive decorations and is well located in the center of town. The bed was very comfortable. Excellent breakfasts were provided. Everyone’s cheerful and gracious service made our stay so very enjoyable and memorable. We so much appreciated all of the helpful and interesting information that they provided. It is a remarkable jewel of a boutique hotel and we will highly recommend it to all those we know. We regret having only stayed 4 nights.

The 3 nights accommodation was very nice and comfortable. The breakfast was very homy made and served on the terraces tables including fresh orange juice and cappuccino café. We likes the fresh fruits plate and scrambled eggs with cheese. Each room is decorated a bit different style but in typical village materials in modern architecture and materials. It's pitty we didn't have regular windows in our room. The location is directly in pedestrian area, your rental car must be park in 5mins walk distance on payable parking or 10min walk distance in upper streets free of charge. To walk to restaurants, shops or cafés you need really few meters or max 10mins walk. Don't miss some south coast beaches from Rethymno.

In the first night's we have special hard smell in our ground floor room with difficult sleeping as we needed to open whole windows even in the bathroom. Nobody know where is this smell of petrol from. But we fix it with non stop ventilation. Never mind this was a mistary of old building.

- Very comfortable, clean, and homely feel, reflected in everything from the room equipment (with super comfortable beds and showers), to the overall decor and beautiful garden - Incredibly kind and helpful staff, always ready to give a recommendation or a smile - Lady Ana and her team really make everyone feel welcome and at home - Excellent location, on a quiet street right at the edge of the old town, 2-3 minutes away from a reasonably priced paid parking where it is easy to find a spot and 15 minutes on foot from Rethymno beach - Many little extras that make the experience complete, e.g., provided beach towels, very comfortable bath robes, option to have breakfast prepared in advance for an early morning leave, etc.

- Breakfast is very tasty and with a local spin, but the options are relatively few and do not change across days - could become a bit repetitive during a longer stay

The staff was exceptionally helpful, recommending dining places, beaches to visit and local sights. The staff was fun and we enjoyed getting to know them and the family who owns the Casa. The rooms were cozy. Our room a JR suite was huge with a loft area. The area surrounding was fun and safe to walk with a large variety of eating establishments and shops. The one recommendation is to locate the parking poor to going as parking is a couple blocks away but still convenient. The parking sight allows a good navigational point while the hotel address is in the walking area of the old city.Loved it.

Just our understanding of using the parking as our GPS location.
