Rating: 10/10 My wife and I embarked on our honeymoon journey to Calypso Beach Hotel in Rhodes from July 26th to August 5th, 2023, and what a journey it turned out to be! Initially seeking solace after an unexpected departure from another hotel, we stumbled upon this hidden gem that transformed our trip into an enchanting adventure. The Calypso Beach Hotel immediately stole our hearts with its picturesque coastal location. The azure waters and golden sands provided the perfect backdrop for a romantic getaway. However, it was the unparalleled warmth and dedication of the hotel staff that truly set our experience apart. The staff became more than just hosts; they became friends on our honeymoon journey. The bar team, including Artan, Antonis, Doria, Stefanos, and George, created cocktails that were both delightful to the palate and a testament to their craftsmanship. Their genuine interest in making our evenings special added an extra layer of charm to our stay. Elvira's presence at the Crepe Stand was a sweet delight. Her warm smile and delectable crepes were the perfect treat for our days by the beach. It's these personalized touches that make Calypso Beach Hotel stand out. Nikos and Tsampikos, members of the restaurant staff, took our dining experiences to new heights. Their attention to detail and dedication to making every meal memorable left us in awe. Our accommodations were nothing short of luxurious. The double room we stayed in was elegantly designed and offered breathtaking views of the coastline. The attention to cleanliness was impeccable, creating an environment that was both inviting and comforting. Speaking of amenities, Calypso Beach Hotel exceeded our expectations. The Crepe Stand, the restaurant, and the bar facilities were all top-notch, adding to the overall value of our stay. What truly wowed us was the genuine care and hospitality we received. The combination of these elements made our honeymoon unforgettable.

We had nice and relaxing 8 nights holiday at Calypso Beach after staying four nights at Capypso Palace. We had a deluxe seaview room that are all fully renovated and get comfortable for two adults and two teenage young men. At least on third floor these rooms were located on the right side if you look at the hotel from the beach. Minibar was filled every day with water, sodas, juice, beer and wine. Lobby area was renovated recently, and had nice bar, car rental, minimarket hairdresser/barber shop and a la carte restaurant where we didn’t visit. From the pool area you can find lots of sun beds, bar, crepes kiosk, separate kids pool with couple of small slides and lunch restaurant from where you can get refreshments and snacks all the day. Meals at the buffe restaurant were good, especially breakfast, but lunch and dinner were a bit repetitive even though there was always something new and different. They had theme dinner 3-4 times a week. Dessert table was always really delicious. Animation team arrange different activities (beach volley, boccia, water aerobics, water polo, football etc.) around the day and I highly recommend taking part of these activities. Evening shows were also very popular. I’m feeling sorry for not singing karaoke. :) We prefered to stay at the beach which was really clean, shallow and had also lots of sunbeds. All the employees were very helpful and friendly. You can sometimes read they prefer serving germans over other nationalities but that’s not true! I believe we where the only Finns there and got always perfect service. Most of the customers were from Germany but I made new friends with many other nationalities all very nice and friendly.

Our stay was nothing short of exceptional. The staff were incredibly welcoming and kind, providing top-tier service throughout our visit. The beach was clean, stylish, and well-maintained, offering a perfect spot for relaxation. For those who prefer a different setting, the premises also boast a fantastic pool. The entertainment was a highlight of our stay. The animators put on a variety of interesting and engaging shows, ensuring there was never a dull moment. The evening programs, in particular, were very captivating. The dining options were excellent, with a wide array of dishes to cater to all tastes. Every conceivable cuisine was on offer. Our accommodation was clean, spacious, and came with a stunning view. Waking up a bit earlier each morning to catch the sunrise became a daily ritual. In summary, our experience was amazing. Whether for couples or families, this place offers a truly exceptional stay.

The staff were all great, they were all friendly and professional - and this goes a long way to making the experience good. I couldn't fault the food, I didn't love the dining room, a bit out dated but everything tasted really good. The animation team were great, the bar staff brilliant, the waiters in the dining room, so lovely. Overall we made a fantastic time out of it. The room was modern and functional, and bless the ladies for their tough job of cleaning it everyday.

We tried the all-inclusive, we found it's not really for us, but our 8yr old son gives it a 10 out of 10 and we went there for him so it was a success. Too busy, too noisy, all the guests were pretty much from Germany - which was okay. The beach wasn't so great, not my taste.

excellent beach awarded the blue flag. The view from the window to the sea is a huge plus. The cuisine is very tasty and varied. the location is excellent, you can walk along the beach to the city in about 25 minutes the food was beyond expectations. All Greek cuisine with excellent dishes, wines, whiskeys, cocktails all of good quality. grill on fire every day. There is always plenty to choose from, both meat and fish, and a menu for vegetarians and a diet menu. My wife follows a strict diet and even managed to choose and eat healthy foods every day

Excellent location of the hotel, first line, clear sea. Suitable for families with children, there is children's (and adult) animation. The food was also tasty and varied. There are shops and a hairdresser on site. The hotel speaks German and English, but one of the children's animators spoke Finnish :)

We didn’t know in advance that there was no animation on Friday, otherwise we would have planned the travel dates a little differently.

Location was nice, walk to faliraki shops/bars or taxi to Rhodes/kallithea, located on the beachfront which was perfect, nice beach sunbeds pools, enterainment was bang on and food bbq giros on the go during the day with buffet too, crepes and open bar was great!! Rooms were lovely size beds comfortable!

Not as many sunbeds available as prefer however I have stayed in peak July so not to bad as you have the beach, 95 percent of visitors are German howwver staff really appreciated us English and where super friendly 😇

The pool area is excellent for kids. Food is available throughout the day so you are not stuck with strict time schedules. The beach is nice and clean bewely but ok with barefoot visits. Good AC and sealing fan.

The toilet arrangement in the room is rather open and does not offer privacy. Wals are not soundproof and noise is getting through. Internet connection is rather slow so if you plan to work then it is only possible in early mornings when the speeds are ok.

We had a very nice stay at Calypso Beach. Equipment is great. Beds very comfy. Great to have the beach next to the hotel! Food is what one can expect from an all-in resort: quantitative, various but not highly qualitative. Not bad, though. Staff members were nice. Special thanks to the restaurant staff (Stefanos and his team). Very kind people. As well as to the crêpes/pancakes lady (Alvira?). She was so nice!

Only disappointed by the reception staff. Especially the responsible lady, who has not been very helpful. Not friendly. Also, she did not give us all the needed information upon arrival (we did not know that we had to book in advance one of the restaurants and two days after arrival it was too late). Apart from this negative note, everything was perfect!

All personnel were very friendly and helpful from reception, restaurant to the beach that made our stay really comfortable. Sand beach and sunbeds were clean and looked up all day, enough space, there were a number of sport activities organized by the hotel staff (beach volley, pool gym, pilates). Tourist water sport attractions was nearby (water bikes, boat rent, boat trips, etc.). Sightseeing trips and car rent available right at the hotel. Restaurant was very clean, fresh tasty meals. Good quality refreshments in the beach bar.
