We booked our stay last minute and couldn't have picked a better hotel than the Radisson on Skiathos. My husband, my sister and I had a beautiful panoramic rooftop room with a hot tub. The bed and sofa bed were comfortable. Beautiful view of the sea right from the bed and from the hot tub. But what was even better than our room was the staff who work here and will do everything in sight for you. Our lovely lady at reception and our caring waitress Victoria at dinner. Thanks to her, my sister and I were assured that our dinners were gluten free. Don't forget to have one of the delicious cocktails. The breakfasts were also perfect, including the gluten free baguette on request. Thank you for a great stay and we will definitely want to return.

Everything was perfect. We had a few comments, but they were immediately solved with a smile by our nice lady at the reception. These ladies and young men from breakfast are the type of staff you want to meet on your holiday. Thank you!

The property is situated in a beautiful bay. A comfortable hotel - if not a bit stark in appearance. Nice warm pool and sun area. Good breakfast and staff very friendly.

The wi-fi in the bedrooms was very poor. The pool surround was quite gritty which wasn’t great to walk on particularly after getting out of the pool with wet feet and a lot of weeds were growing up between paving slabs which gave an unkept appearance. We had a cleaner come into our room at 9am without knocking while we were still in bed which was a shock!!

Excellent hotel. As a returning customer, i was surprised with what i saw. A totally "new" hotel, with clean rooms and halls (all the shared spaces were sparkling clean, the stuff was very friendly and helpful in each and any request i did, the breakfast was (finally) very rich and tasteful. I suppose there was a change in management witch transformed this hotel to a true 4+star hotel! Awesome job. Ill definitely suggest this hotel and return for some summer vacation days there, next year.

After a tricky start due to lack of communication from front desk (kept waiting without update for our room) we were very happy. The manager intervened and things happened quickly. Decent hotel as described, our room was on the top floor with a jucuzzi which enjoyed great views. The local beaches are great and the location meant that Skiathos town was easily reachable by taxi or water taxi. Staff very friendly. Baracoa is great - beach bar on Tzaneria (?) beach, but do make sure you book ahead for a sunbed. Kanapitsa beach has a Taverna which was my favourite place to eat as its a very traditional Taverna with great traditional greek food and good service. Overall a lovely holiday.

Only real downsides were breakfast room is small, food fairly average and getting a taxi can be hit and miss. Either turn up early/late/dont show.

If I could rate the staff out of 100, they would get 200/100! Every single individual working there, from the buffet/service staff in the morning to the reception desk, cleaning is exceptional. Polite, professional, courteous and accommodating. The rooms are beautiful, the view from our hotel room was directly over the bay/sea in front of the hotel. Linen and towels are changed, if one wants, on a daily basis and a free beach/pool towel is provided, again on a daily basis.

There's only one (somewhat significant) flaw with the location. The parking availability is extremely limited, which means that if you have special needs or limited mobility, this is probably not the place for you. There is no designated parking space for the handicapped (not reasonable for a so-called EU country). If you return late at night or at a time when the parking spaces are occupied, you'll be ditching your (rental or not) car or moped anywhere. And some of the "anywhere" locations are dark and very remote.

Spacious and clean rooms. Staff were very helpful, and breakfast was a great start to the day. It is located across from a beach with a tavern, canteen and water activities. 20 minutes to the centre by car, or a ten minute walk to the main road to get a bus. The bus system is very simple and takes you everywhere on the island. Beautiful island, vibrant and busy. It is a must taking a tour around the islands Aenao sailing was simply breathtaking and Andoni the captain was very knowledgeable.

Modern and fresh. Well located to a fantastic beach and the little boat taxi stop for a direct trip into skiathos town for just 4 euros.

The road to the hotel is dirty and full of litter and broken glass, not too dissimilar to most roads on the island though. Also a lack of water in the room. We were given a bottle of water each on the first day but this was never refreshed and replacements were charged at 6euros a bottle. Most guests felt they were forced to avoid the hotel in favour of supermarkets and local bars, which is a shame for the hotel.

The piped music by the pool/bar really grated after a while. Music choice definitely aimed at age 70+ guests. One of our rooms had a sting smell of damp. Our rooms were on the ground floor of an annex and backed on to a view of rubble/nothing. Asked staff to book our taxi to airport and although super efficient generally became very unhelpful when it was an hour plus late meaning we were panicking to catch a flight. The “you should have booked earlier” was particularly unhelpful when we asked for the second time to chase the taxi for us. Sadly left us with a more negative view of the hotel and would put plus off coming back.

We loved the location. It is located with a beach in front of the property and out of the hub of Skiathos (which we preferred) but not to be alarmed as their is a water taxi at the beach to take you into Skiathos town. The pool and bar is much better then the photos and was definitely the highlight.

Like some other reviews the music at the pool was very old fashioned. Although we found it funny it was quite random and good 'chill' music would really elevate the vibe at the pool.

Very very clean. Perfect location. Breakfast was fantastic. Swimming pool was great. Cozy Our bedroom door mechanism broke and we got locked out with a 5 year old baby on our arms, but the blonde woman on the front desk (can’t remember her name) did everything she could to sort this out as soon as possible. She even gave me her mobile number to contact her if we need anything and we thank her very much!

You had to pay for iced coffee during the breakfast (which was just an espresso shot with ice). I think the management of the hotel should change this.
