The staff is the highlight of this hotel... Polite, proactive, efficient... And all this without being intrusive in any way... Everyone is acting great, but some will be nominated as exceptional. The second highlight is the pool. Well maintained, generous size, beautiful surroundings, a piece of peace and nature in the bustling Chennai. The Club also deserves a high mention, the excellency being given, again, by the attentive staff... Ah, and the cleanliness is top-notch...!

Nothing to mention, some little things can't be avoided despite all the efforts... For instance, the letters on the clipboard used by the hotel driver when waiting for me at the airport for transfer were so tiny. I had to pass three times along the long line of people waiting for the travelers... As a suggestion: instead of showing the guest's name, better to use a placard with Tridend's name and logo inscribed visibly This is more than enough... Moreover, making your name visible to another 2,000 people could be unpleasant for the guests who appreciate confidentiality.

Satnam and Rupa in the dining room, helpful and cared for my well-being. Satnam responded to a passing comment I made on a juice my body needed and was outstanding in supporting me here. Club lounge, Chef, wow what incredible service and food and waiter attentive. Cleaning staff, opened the bedside drawer so i could see plug to charge my phone, noticing the small things to care for me. The Porters were incredibly supportive and attentive, enthusiastic in their role in a kind way and anticipated my needs by instructing the driver for me of my destination. The pool was fab.

Club package on webpage includes high tea, this was not available or understood by staff. best i could beg was a cup of tea (no biscuit was offered even though I asked). Prob need to update the web page on this one by taking the high tea out so there are no unfulfilled expectations.

The hotel, the pool, the dinner was really good.We were leaving at 4.30am, missing breakfast, so I asked the chef if I could get a couple of apples for breakfast. Instead, he provided a packet with fruit, juice, and two sandwiches for us. Outstanding customer service.

The address is a problem. If you google 1/24 Grand Southern Trunk road, or 24 Grand Southern Trunk road, Or 24 G.S.T.Road. The google map takes you some 10 km away from the Hotel. IT ONLY WORKS CORRECTLY IF YOU GOOGLE "TRIDENT HOTEL CHENNAI". We were taken to the incorrect place, and then had to find another taxi to take us to the correct address. Please get google to fix this, so that other guests don't have the same problem.

The room is very clean and the hotel is beautiful. Very close to the airport. The staff is very professional and ready to help. I would like to particularly highlight the help I received from the two receptionists at the time of checkout, namely Rajiv and Abhishek, who kindly helped with solving the lock on my suitcase. They went out of their way to call the engineering department, to look at my suitcase, which I didn't manage to unlock. The engineer came quickly and within minutes the problem was resolved. The also have a very friendly and kind driver who picked me up from the airport. I would highly recommend this hotel and will be happy to stay there again in the future.

The Trident is probably the best in class when it comes to hospitality. The rooms are clean and spacious, the facilities are top notch, food is delicious, hygienic and fresh. But what takes the cake is the staff. We have never felt so warmly welcomed in any other hotel. Staff like Lokesh, Karthik (to name a few), were extremely helpful, accommodating and polite. Even the restaurant staff were extremely open to feedback and offered to compensate us in any way that would make our experience better. It's experiences like this that makes me want to choose Trident for my stay every time I come to this city.

Our stay at the hotel was exceptionally comfortable. The staff were not only friendly but also attentive, making us feel truly welcome. The hotel's location was ideal, providing easy access to local attractions. We particularly enjoyed spending time in the swimming pool and relaxing in the sauna, which added an extra layer of luxury to our experience. Overall, it was a wonderfully relaxing and enjoyable stay.

At times, I had to repeat my requests to the staff before they were addressed, which was a bit frustrating. There also seemed to be some miscommunication among the staff, leading to occasional confusion. Additionally, the ventilation in the bathrooms could use improvement. These issues detracted somewhat from the overall experience.

From getting picked up by the driver at the airport to entering our room, the whole experience was seamless. The staff were very friendly and efficient with handling requests and to our surprise the manager offered us a complimentary dinner brought to our room which was absolutely delicious. We were only there a few hours as we were transiting so location wise the hotel was spot on in-terms of getting to and from the airport quickly. The room was a little on the smaller side for a family of four but since we were only there to sleep it was fine - but we found it clean and well maintained and the bed was large and comfortable. The service provided by all staff members made the stay extra special. Would highly recommend!

The hotel boasted a prime location, making it incredibly convenient and enjoyable to explore the surrounding area. The front desk staff and room service were truly exceptional, providing seamless, friendly, and efficient assistance throughout my stay. While there was a minor issue with the connecting room, the Assistant Manager and Front Office Manager promptly addressed the concern and demonstrated a genuine willingness to resolve it quickly. Their proactive approach added to the overall positive experience.

Trident, Chennai bowled us over with their hospitality. We had made an early check-in around 1pm, and were promptly accommodated. 1. The room had a very good vibe about it, with literally the fluffiest of pillows that I have seen, ensuring sound sleep. 2. Their lunch buffet at Cinnamon was excellent, both variety of options and taste-wise. 3. The pool is nestled right beside the lawn, allowing for a relaxed time. The water feels a little cold in the beginning, but gets fine in about 5-10 mins. 4. On one instance, when we required a cab very urgently, and none showed up, they were prompt to serve us with the hotel vehicles at a nominal fee. Overall, thanks to the Trident's hospitality team for being very warm and caring. Would highly recommend.

1. The hotel is at least 30+ years old, so some features such as taking shower in the bathtub feels a bit dated. 2. With a large team of employees, sometimes messages get lost in transit. Am sure they'd improve with constructive feedback.

The service was the best! We ordered hotel taxi to pick us up from the airport and poor people had to wait for us for 1,5 hours but still welcomed us with a smile. In the hotel everyone was so friendly and helpful! They pay attention to the details. Big thanks to Laxmi in the reception. Room was clean and comfortable, we got free water and all toiletries we needed. Food in the restaurant was great! Also the pool area was nice
