The breakfast spread was really good and up to the mark, something was there for everyone's taste, be it Indian or continental. The view from the restaurant made the dining experience in the morning great.

Though location was good, parking was limited and it had to shift our car a couple of times, we had to leave the key with the security during the stay. Its a big property and suited to corporate group stay, or group stay. Common places were so occupied by those that for a small party or couple, it felt overwhelming and better to restrict to rooms only, which in our case didn't have any view, hence we missed the beautiful peak view at all times and would prefer a quiet comfortable stay with more scenic beauty in the offer.

I ordered a prawn garlic dish from the Western Meal section and the dish had mashed potatoes and gravy which was not provided. After urging the staff to bring the missing item, instead of a gravy - melted butter was served which was quite ridiculuous. Please inform the customer if some items are not available because eating boiled potatoes with melted butter was definetly not what I was looking forward to. However, besides that dish the rest of the items we ordered were on point.

This hotel is perfect for your stay at Kalimpong. The minute you ente the hotel all you feel is luxury. The reception staff is very pleasant and caters to all your needs. The rooms are spacious and give you the feeling of luxury. We took a room with a balcony that we felt could have had a better view (I must say that the duty manager immideatly wanted to offer us another room with a better view but we already settled in this room and we liked it) but that didn't spoil our visit as the minute you step out of your room into the amazing look out points to the Himalayan Mountain ridge (and there are a few such view points in the hotel) you will get this amazing view. The food in the restaurant is abslutely perfect. We were a bit in need of some western food and the staff did all they can to assist us with it. They have a vast variety of excellent international dishes that answered all our wishes. I would especially like to point the excellent service of Mr. Sanjib and Mr. Ajay who really took wonderful care of us. I recommed this hotel very much. Truly a wonderful place for vacation.

the lawn like area was the highlight.. the view of Kanchanjangha from here was mesmerising.. overall the ambience of the property was soothing and peaceful.. very tastefully and elegantly done place.. (unlike some boisterous and flashy) .. rooms were cozy and comfortable.. we especially liked the library and it’s collection of books.. good food and great people..

not much to not like anything here… only the location of this property is a bit away from the sight seeing points, so taking a bit more time in to and fro..

Luxurious property, fantastic maintenance, good service, makes you feel special all the time. Location is bengali at the center of the town at walking distance from the market, but inside the premises it is calm and peaceful as if it was located far from city. Kanchenjunga rooms with balcony are big and beautiful. We can see the Kanchenjunga on a clear day. We ordered simple spiceless food for our daughter, everytime it was cooked perfectly. I would specifically mention the Igloo - a glasshouse in the lawn. Loved it. My daughter would have liked an outdoor swing for 6+ children. Maybe they can install one. Lastly, we loved the wind chimes put up at many places. Their tinkle at every passing breeze brought a divine feeling. Overall, one of my best hotel stays ever (globally)

No pillows for kids

The hotel exceeded our expectations! Everyone was readily available and went above and beyond to provide service and information. The location is very quiet. We had a relaxing and rejuvenating stay, also because of great food and awesome spa services.

The hotel could improve on sightseeing znd services, as Kalimpong is a great trekking location, e.g. by providing a map of the area and contact details of guides.

it takes a lot to maintain a heritage property and give it so much love and care. that is exactly what the management has done. a class apart in a small place like Kalimpong they have ensured our stay experience is worth every money

everything was simply superb

Everything was as we had expected. The stay was very comfortable. The hotel staff was very polite, prompt and helpful. The service is top notch. They did not give a chance to disappoint. A very big thanks to the entire staff and team.

Breakfast had a large spread , however some of the items particularly the pastries etc seemed a little too dry and not too fresh

The choice of breakfast was good and the spread had both western and Indian menus . The property is wonderfully maintained and the decor is phenomenal . The staff are nice and friendly . The momos are succulent and delicious

The fact that the hotel staff didnot insist on wearing a mask during this pandemic and there were people going around without mask
