Everything... Taj itself is a phenomenal brand in the hospitality sector. This hotel is no exception. The rooms are pretty big, cleanliness os impeccable & the food is lip smacking. Especially, the cheesecake. It was pure joy on the taste buds. Breakfast spread is quite elaborate and tasty. The staff of the hotel is remarkably polite. It's a lovely experience.

Nothing as such except one minor thing. I entered the hotel through the rear entrance. It was evening time and was dark. The lighting in that particular zone was inadequate in my opinion. But, as I've said, it's not a big issue.

I stayed at this hotel for a night in August 23. The central location was purfect as it's very near to Acropolis Mall and the Visa Office is located just opposite to it. There is a nice restaurant 6 Ballygunj Place, if you have a craving for authentic Bengali cuisine. The girl at the reception Ms Vaisnavi was very helpful and efficient as she ensured checkin was a breeze. There was even a surprise birthday cake kept at the room for my son. Overall a wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend for families and others

It's really good stay at Vivanta.I almost Sayed at different hotels of different cities but I found this hotel very good in compare to others because of following reasons---- 1. Warm reception with water and juice 2. Rooms were so clean . 3. Services were good as well as room service . 4. Without any delay staff were ready to serve the customer and solved the problems. 5.Breakfast was excellent. In short we enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Wonderful buffet breakfast (Make sure it is included in your price) Swimming pool that you can swim laps in Large room The staff was very pleasant, but it was the staff/guards outside who were wonderful and helpful. The Acropolis Mall, with AC is near by

The WIFI was terrible. They even sent up a technician to try to set up a new cable, but it didn't help. When it didn't ' disconnect, it was too slow for uploading. There was no one at the hotel who could give us travel advice - where to go or how to get there. The answer was always to hire their own driver and car (which cost 10x as much as Uber!) There is no metro near to the hotel (although one is being built) so be prepared to travel a minimum of 30 -40 minutes to almost anywhere else in the city.

Every facility is top notch... Rooms are neat and clean. Vivanta staff is very polite and friendly... I like the theme decoration at the entrance it is awesome...

I would like to give one suggestion for the live food counter.. Keep any deep frying items counter away from dining area as oil smell tents to settle down in the area.

Ambiance, Position, the super breakfast but the main icing on the cake was your warm hospitality. You made us “feel at home” and that’s most important. A special note of thanks for your duty manager, Mr. Anandashankar Dasgupta who just spoiled us by ensuring all our never ending asks and demands were meet. Kudos to him and his entire team.

Spacious room with comfy bed and good bathroom (excellent water pressure), everything very clean. The restaurant serves tasty food, in-room dining is available with a broad selection as well. Thumbs up for the pool and fitness facilities on the top floor and the friendly service of staff at the door, house-keeping and in the restaurant / in-room dining.

The staff at the reception was friendly most of the time, but in some cases unfortunately not at all and for no reason. The window in the room couldn't be opened, therefore the smell wasn't super good - room refreshment would be a good solution. No minibar..

The front staff were brilliant, courteous. Special mention for Anando who helped us with all our questions on the nearby information. Special mention for Shreya Ghosh who was exceptionally courteous in the restaurant. The entire staff was courteous, always smiling and ever helping. The rooms were spic and span. The restaurant was, as usual "Taj like" and the buffet spreads were lavish and full value for money. The staff was just terrific.

I just couldnt identify any areas of improvement!

breakfast was good, had good spread as expected at a 5star hotel.Baked curd was the best dish out of all-it had fine balance of creaminess and sweetness without being overtly sweet.

Dinner was ordinary in taste, patol had too much cardamom,in other dishes there was no distinct taste and all tasted the spicy only. West Bengal is a foodies paradise and Vivanta as a property, the expectations are high.

The rom was well appointed and a really nice size. Bed was very comfortable and quiet despite the hotel being located on a very busy and loud intersection. Great breakfast buffet choices Staff were lovely and very accommodating and professional

Brown water was coming out of the shower and tub when using the hot water.
