Beautiful location, great staff, delicious food.

There really wasn’t much to do outside of the property. The trips to see the elephants and the backwaters (listed on the website)were really too far away for a day trip. Also I had booked on the assumption that there was morning and evening yoga and meditation available. The only yoga included in the booking was in the morning anything extra was charged. I also was unhappy about the amount on plastic rubbish on the beach. I noticed that the hotel next door cleaned their beach front twice a day, it was a shame that Niramaaya did not do this too.

Staff was very friendly, the massage was good and well-priced. Food at the on-site restaurant is tasty. Room was very spacious and clean, with great air conditioning.

Compared to other resorts in Kovalam, the property is a bit older. The beach, while accessible, has a good bit of litter. The phones in the room weren't working as of my stay.

Excellent resort to rewind & recuperate. Very private & spacious with great views. Performances from local artists in evening is nice.

This place felt like a literal paradise on earth. From our arrival to our departure we had an amazing time. The staff were on hand to take care of our every need. We had a laugh with a few of them notably Siva who proved to be a bit of a stand up comedian! The food was exceptional and because they didn't offer any vegan desserts the chef made me a special one on our second night. It was such a calm and peaceful place. The pool was amazing. Probably one of the best places I've ever stayed.

This hotel totally exceeded our expectations, beautiful location with well kept grounds, delicious food, super friendly and helpful staff. The ultimate stay for a week of pure relaxation. The spa is also amazing.

This is not a negative comment but I think it would be worth having a consultation with one of the Ayurvedic doctors at the spa before booking treatments so that you can make the most of what’s on offer.

Amazing serene location with a beautiful swimming pool overlooking the beach and a good private beach. Nestled in the midst of a lot of greenery. The place is extremely relaxing and the staff are very friendly. The place also has a very homely feel with beautiful private cottages rather than the usual hotel feel which I preferred over Leela Kovalam. Overall absolutely loved it and will definitely recommend!

Food was great, each dish was nicely made, breakfast could include more live stations may be. place was nicely curated with authentic stones crafts scattered all around with swings and hammocks all over. Staff was great, very polite and fully trained. Each one will greet you when you are walking around. They arranged all kind of cabs in very short time with reasonable charges if you want to go around the place and airport. Spa stations were really great and staff there were really attentive to your needs and experienced enough to advise you.

Beach was not "goa" type beach if anyone had idea like that, access to it was not easy and more rocks around it. However you could look at it from distance being in comfort from swimming pool or restaurant. The heritage room with garden view lawn was not at all curated, more like jungle with wild life. It was opposite to the front side of room which was well designed. Wifi had lot of issues throughout the stay, no one turned up in entire stay to check what's the problem we are facing despite calling regularly. Multiple reminders about basic room services were needed. Nothing much for kids to do anything except small size kid pool and swings.

Friendly staff

There was no safety box in the room and no espresso either..the guest were extremely rude and demanding I witnessed an incident in the restaurant and the guest treated the sue chef really bad she scolded and shouted at him over a silly thing was rude..

The food was very good and the view was beautiful. The setting was wonderful with a beautiful private beach. The staff were attentive and helpful.

The bed was a little damp. The Wi-Fi kept failing we were unable to watch the TV too. The staff did try and solve the problem but were unable too.
