Taj Green Cove is a beautiful property situated near Kovalam beach. The resort does not have a private beach but there is a seaside walk and sitting arrangement ,and also a seaside restaurant. There is a beach just outside the property and there is provision to drop one near the beach in battery cars. then its just a two minutes stroll. The food and hospitality is awesome. We went there for our 15th wedding anniversary celebration, and had an absolutely amazing experience. I would specially like to mention about Raj, who helped us to arrange for a private candlelight dinner by the beach. All the staff members were exceptionally cordial and showed great hospitality. There is also an amazing view of the sea from the infinity pool. and one can relax there while having a drink. There is a beautiful lagoon inside the resort and evening boat ride in the lagoon. The rooms are decent looking and well maintained with all the necessary items needs to be available in a 5 star.

The only thing that I did not like was the wardrobe and dressing unit was inside the bathroom in the premium sea view rooms. It becomes difficult when the entire family needs to get ready quickly.

The staff are very keen and welcoming throughout the hotel area. The pool area and lagoon are lovely as are the grounds. The breakfast is excellent with a great array of choices. We really enjoyed the sunset snacks and Bait, although pricey was wonderful. The morning yoga is led by a top professional tutor who is brilliant.

The most basic rooms are called 'superior', which is strange. Also, to warrant a 5 star tag, there needs to be some more thought. Our back doors did not lock properly, and there was no plug in the sink. We were promised that these would be attended to, but neither happened. Also, the hotel blurb should mention that the archery is for youngsters with sticky rubber tipped arrows. Finally, please do not advertise that you have bicycles for use as some of the adult ones are unrideable.

We had a fantastic family holiday at Taj Kovalam. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They were very accommodating and it felt like nothing was too much trouble! The breakfasts were delicious and the afternoon tea by the sea was a delightful touch that we looked forward to. The complimentary daily yoga sessions are a great way to start the day and the children enjoyed the evening boat rides on the lagoon. I had a great massage at the spa as well. All in all a fantastic stay. We look forward to coming back soon!

The hotel setting was absolutely serene and included some fantastic activities like boat riding and afternoon tea by the beach. We went for our babymoon so it really was a great location for us to spend time in the hotel and not travel around outside too much on long car journeys. All staff were very hospitable providing cushions regularly for my comfort. A special note to Gijeesh the cook who curated a cooking session with us in the space of 20 minutes focusing on special south indian recipes. He also kindly emailed us the recipe for the most delicious coconut rice that we requested very quickly and his work of going above and beyond is absolutely appreciated. Gijeesh made our stay truly exceptional with this experience.

Yoga classes which occur each morning at the hotel looked great but when we visited in the morning myself and my husband the teacher was unable to accommodate for me. It was just myself and my husband who had turned up so I did ask if we could do just breathing exercises but he said no. As I do prenatal yoga 4 days a week this was a shame but it did not ruin the overall experience.

The Resort was gorgeous and had a great ambience. Staff were very cooperative and ready for any needed assistance. They arranged a room with accessibility facilities for my mom and also prepared the room with special decorations to make Mom’s birthday extra special. Since the resort is located on a hill, their buggies were really helpful, especially when traveling with aged parents. Sunset point was awesome! We also enjoyed the beauty of the sea and lake views. The traditional boat ride was also a really calming experience. Our tummies were also happy as they served very fresh and delicious seafood.

Excellent property with access to beach and the lake, good and supportive staff, good breakfast options, beautiful landscapes.

The dishes in restaurant (dinner that I had) are very costly and portions does not commensurate with the prices. Bathroom linen looked old, and worn out. There is no option to call a taxi to leave the premises while checking out or sightseeing. Online taxis for picking passengers are prevented entry into the property by a taxi lobby opposite to the property who insists to use their facilities which are overpriced. Looks like property is in tacit partnership with these people.

I am doing a re review on this property due to how well they showed us that they cared for thier customers. I have never experienced such amazing professionalism especially from thier GM Mr Ravi Nischal. We did have a few issues while at the property but Mr Nischal was amazing enough to immediately call us and empathize regarding our situation and proceeded to make things right for us. I will definitely go back anytime due to the best treatment we received Breakfast area is beautiful with a view of the pool and the ocean beyond..The servers were nice and polite .. had Indian and continental options. This propert has great views of the backwaters and the ocean … loved every bit of our experience including my 75 yo mum who was celebrating her bday that month

At this point I am going to overlook any tiny issues just because of how well the property came fwd to resolve any issues we had. So we are overall very happy with our stay !

For a Taj enterprise,one does expect the infrastructure to be top notch. It met the standards. What exceeded our expectations was the hospitality of the entire staff starting from the security guard himself.Courteous always greeting us even if we walked the same path thrice.Thank you to all the security staff. JASMINE from the reception was very sweet,always smiling and often asking us about our stay and well being.Thank you. GURUNG and NIKKI from the Jasmine and bait restaurant were kind(not robotic),They were friendly yet professional.Thank you. ANANT surely stood out and impressed us with his individualistic hospitality.Above and beyond.His enthusiasm to assist us when ever needed was beyond our expectation.He helped us with finding a quieter room for my husband's meeting,giving us suggestion regarding the menu and even where to stay for our next trip.Thanks to him we will be staying in another establishment of yours in Varkala. ANANT clearly showed his dedication and passion for his work.He is an asset to your company.Thank you.

Location was great, giving the feeling of bungalows type of resort, a lot of palm trees, flowers and all. Spa services are amazing ( best experienced in Kerala). Manager and the Team made everything they could for our stay to be perfect.

There are small details to be taken care off. It is I believe an old location that needs some enhancements, f.e. at the pool. Due to security and safety I believe the beach area is not promoted enough, while the place is amazing and in the morning the sea is quite calm.

The location is excellent. The staff is very kind however I have been to other Taj properties like Goa, Agra, Kolkata and comparatively I felt the staff was less trained or less proactive. Cleanliness can be improved like the pool side dryer machine was so dirty, we couldnt use it to dry our swim suits. The staff overall was very kind, they surprised us with a chocolate cake on the 6 th night: our last night. overall: a lovely place to be.

Breakfast was quite poor, Taj hotel breakfasts are abundant with variety of fruits, etc,, this had a bit of everything but still didnt feel that wao, dinner buffet too wasnt that great.
