We had a wonderful stay and experience in the hotel Saraca Lucknow (Lebua until 31st of December). This heritage property holds a great history as it used to be the house of Nawabs. We were immediately transported back in time and could really feel the spirit of Lucknow. The room was nice, clean and the bed was really soft and comfortable. But what made our experience truly unique was the hotel staff; everyone was smiling, friendly, polite and very helpful. At the reception, both Abdulla and Gulafsha made sure we had a smooth check in and check out, they replied to all our queries and even gave us some recommendations about the city. Last but not least, the food and the Azrak restaurant staff. We booked last minute a table for New Years. The live music was great and we were gifted with New Year Eve accessories. Thumbs up for the whole organization. The buffet was delicious and we had the pleasure to meet the Chef Manish who took time for us. His hospitality and care were very much appreciated, the food was outstanding, excellent, and we can not thank him enough for his time and kindness. At the service, special thanks to Arman and Pramod who took very good care of us during the whole evening at the next day during breakfast. To sum up our experience, this property and its amazing restaurants really is a hidden gem in Lucknow, and shines especially thanks to its wonderful staff and history. It is still a bit underrated so we can only recommend our fellow travelers to visit this place

Just the toilet flush wasn’t working really well but when we told about it to the staff they immediately offered to send someone to fix it.

It was a lovely place, well located, excellent food though overpriced vastly. The room allotted to us at while checking in to the hotel was reasonable but due to the old drainage system I presume, the toilet was smelling bad, and my wife being as particular as she is, asked us to be moved to another room. When we saw other rooms, some were a little small and the rest had the same problem mentioned earlier. When we decided that we would move to another hotel, they ultimately showed us a suite room which was truly beautiful and had a non smelly toilet at the same price we had paid, we gladly accepted. It was really nice of them to do this upgrade us to a suite to satisfy us. After this the food in the restaurant was truly very good, as was the included in rate breakfast spread.

There is a certain strange smell (not foul) which comes as soon as you enter the room then you get used to it with time Our payment was supposed to be done at property but suddenly we were told to pay entire amount 3 months advance wirhin a week or two because of world cup match..otherwise they said booking would get canceled.. didn't like that kind of arm twisting policy by management at all

Very comfortable, characterful pretty Indian bungalow, with wonderful staff. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and arranged our cars and travel around the tourist sites and shopping. The downstairs main restaurant - for breakfast and supper - was very good, tasty, wide selection and good value. The upstairs open area bar was very comfortable too.

Suggest rooms with adjoining doors - for suites - need better sound proofing.

This is a beautiful hotel, calm and lovely. The breakfast is great (tip: get a room which includes it as you will save money). The breakfast room is pretty and sunny. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Rooftop bar is super expensive! Worth a quick visit for a drink and a snack though, nice views of the lawn.

Excellent boutique hotel in a quieter part of Lucknow yet about 15 mins to Hazratganj. Beautifully decorated in period style. Amazing breakfast. Kind and attentive staff.

Got bitten by number of mosquitoes in the courtyard one evening. They did bring some repellent incense sticks but by then it was too late. Maybe defumingating in advance in the late afternoon will be a good idea

The staff went over and beyond the call of duty. The place is lovely and despite it having a limited campus at no time did one feel that we didn't have privacy. It was quiet during the day too which was lovely considering it is close to The Mall and the shops.

As ever a late check out is always welcome. But then that's just because we loved the place so.

One of the very beautiful boutique hotels in Lucknow. The architecture and built is great and of the Nawabi style. It has three restaurants in the compound catering to all possible cravings. The compound itself is very artistic and one can choose a corner and wind down to relax. Special mention of the exotic breakfast spread. I would eagerly wait for breakfast to be served each day after hitting a run. Really impressed with the staff who were very courteous and helpful throughout the stay.

Amazing art deco building superbly renovated while maintaining the period character, made our visit worthwhile in itself. Nice pool and rooftop bar too. Well worth paying a little extra for a heritage suite.

Service was far from polished on more than one ocasion (sloppy bar and breakfast attention and no response to request for towel at the pool). Breakfast buffet was uninteresting and limited (even the Indian food). I am comparing to other Indian hotels of this category and price.

Very peaceful room with only the occasional sound of a train in the distance. A lovely respite from the noises outside. Fabulous breakfast, comfy beds and excellent shower. Enjoyed use of the pool and sun loungers.

The food was quite expensive and there were very few light options to eat. However the hotel kindly packaged up our remaining dinner to have the following night on the train to Varanasi…so nothing was wasted.
