Such a friendly welcome from all the staff and the owners of this smaller, family run hotel. Super clean, gorgeous furnishings, great shower and comfortable beds. The garden is lovely to relax as well as a pool to cool off after sightseeing. It's just 5 minutes walk to the palace gates, and 10 minutes to the main temple so in an excellent location. Our room was on the top floor so we could see the palace, which was lovely at night. The restaurant delivered good food and cold drinks at reasonable prices. We loved it and hope to come back again in the future.

We absolutely loved our time at Mahendra Prakash. It was a little oasis in the busyness of Udaipur. You arrive and walk into this beautiful, peaceful place where nothing is a problem. The Manager - Manipal Singh - was so pleasant and helpful - arranging things for us and advising on good places to visit. The food was so amazing we ended up staying in for dinner and lunch on occasions. We did a cooking course which was arranged at the hotel. Definitely worth doing. Had the food cooked on the course for dinner that night. Wonderful Sitar player at the pool during breakfast.

This is a beautiful hotel. It is an old building that has been renovated- beautifully decorated with stunning murals. Amazing pool and great outdoor seating areas. Pool towels provided and two towels in the room. There are two tortoises that live on the lawn and the staff gave us vegetables so that we could feed them. 🐢🐢 The hotel is a very short walk to the fort and in walking distance from the lake town. My partner got food poisoning from a restaurant in town and the hotel manager was very kind, attentive and caring while he was sick- arranged bland food, dropped off water to our room and offered medications. This was a 10/10 hotel stay. I would recommend it to everyone! The best hotel we've stayed in on our trip.

What a lovely hotel, it felt like an oasis in comparison to other hotels we have stayed in. A very beautiful and comfortable room with balcony, it was spotless. We had a kettle and coffee and tea with a minibar fridge. We got to use the pool which was clean and refreshing. The food was really delicious so we ate here the 2 nights we stayed. Room service and catering staff, together with the reception and housekeeping staff were so very helpful and timely in their responses all to ensure we had a good stay. It is centrally located within walking distance of the city Palace, river boat rides and market. We loved this hotel and would recommend it without hesitation

I had actually booked this haveli last minute simply because it was right next to the city palace and easily accessible by our 10 seater , so wasnt sure how things would be here. But everything was above our expectations!! Mahipalji was so welcoming , the actual haveli is so beautiful, peaceful and clean and our rooms were so artistic! Loved just chilling in the courtyard and playing with the pet turtles...the hospitality was amazing and we felt just like home. Breakfast was another experience with music being played by a talented artist. We were guided with everything too by mahipalji..we will definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the old city of udaipur.

Extremely friendly and professional staff, special thanks to the night manager! The property is in very good shape, also the level of cleanliness of the room and the pool is worth mentioning.

Some minor points: The door to my room was a bit flimsy. At this level I‘d expect a proper door lock, not just a padlock. Also they could make better use of the roof top terrace (maybe in the future?)

We had an excellent stay. The property is very beautiful: garden with many plants and flowers (even a living turtle walking around!), large nice and clean pool with sun beds; good location. Room is spacious (got a free upgrade to a deluxe room), nicely decorated, clean, modern bathroom, own little balcony, good wifi. Various tasty options at breakfast. Kind and helpful staff.

Beds are hard (like everywhere in India, these were most medium-hard we experienced)

The staff and the owner makes you feel at home. Every staff member is friendly, the rooms are unique and spacious and the swimming pool has a perfect size. The breakfast is delicious and if you order food you will not be disappointed, it tastes great. The relaxed and safe feeling at the property makes you want to stay longer than you planned. And very important: it is very clean in the rooms and all over the property. I would advice everyone to stay here!

Property is located in a very good location it is in center of all main attractions like the palace, good restaurants and the market . This place is highly recommended for bikers and especially riders on a big bike as the hotel has ample safe parking area which many big hotels and and known havelis lack

There are plenty of things to like about this property. Firstly the staff is super courteous and nice- so warm and hospitable. The lady and the two gentlemen at the reception were always super helpful. The check in was seamless and the room was clean and beautiful. The ambience of this hotel is super stunning and the fact that they maintain it well is so nice. The breakfast was decent and the dinners at the hotel was nice. Special mention to Bhupendra and Kalpesh for being lovely hosts at the dining area. Really grateful for all their hard work. I would also like to extend heartfelt thanks to the lady at the reception who was kind enough to lend her phone charger so we could charge our power bank. This hotel is located close to the city hall, lakes, mandir and the popular ghats. Such amazing service and hospitality for a very reasonable price. Well done, team for making our stay in Udaipur a lot more memorable!

Everything was as per the expectations. All minor issues were resolved quickly. Would love to stay here again in the future and recommend it to others!
