Maneesh and his staff went out of their way to make my stay as good as it could've been. I was impressed. Maneesh also arranged for a car to pick me up at the Derhadun airport and even though my flight was late, the driver was waiting for me with a placard with my name on it. That was very comforting. Also, the rate for the 1 hour drive was very reasonable.

It is just the way things are in India, at least the parts I traveled to, but I had to adjust to using the Bidet spray hose instead of toilet paper. They use very little TP in India which overall is actually smart, but it was a paradigm shift for me.

Good decent hotel with sufficient amenities under budget. Staff is really helpful in providing services related to room or external services such as renting two wheeler or parking assistance or arranging cake/flowers for special occasion. The host Priyanka is really helpful. They have good parking on the street for atleast 3 compact SUVs and multiple 2-wheelers. Streets are broad, so you don't need to worry about parking. But I would suggest to talk to them about booking a parking space for you after booking confirmation, and they will definitely assist you. In addition to that, there are multiple parking spots nearby at walking distance. Ira's cafe - 300m Lakshman jhula / German bakery - 800m Pebble beach - 900m Main road for auto - 200m Parmarth Niketan for Ganga Aarti - no direct route as Lakshman Jhula is currently closed for crossing due to repair work. You need to either cross the bridge via Ram Jhula on foot or via Janki Bridge on two wheeler and park your vehicle anywhere near to Parmarth Niketan for 6.30 pm Ganga Aarti. It's worth participating 👍

Location is a bit towards inner streets and not near to popular landmarks. Lakhsham jhula is nearby but it's currently closed. Parking is limited but available.

The staff were very helpful. Bianca on the front desk was lovely. I felt very safe as a female solo traveller. The hotel was very quiet as it was low season. Nice hot showers, comfortable bed, good aircon and back up for wifi and fan for the power cuts that plague Rishikesh.

It was clean enough by Indian standards but I would have liked it a little cleaner. I generally find Indian hotels not as clean as western hotels. That’s just a general observation ..

It's a perfect little hotel. I was travelling alone and not well when I arrived at Vedas Tapovan. I was greeted warmly and felt very well looked after, accommodating all my strange requests during my recovery. Both Maneesh and Priyanka were very kind. Lovely bedroom, clean & stylish. The property, staff, owner, breakfast. The location is very convinient to all the shops and restaurants. The room and the beds are very comfortable neat bathroom is exceptionally well equipped. This was the second time I have stayed here. An amazing place specially the rooftop dinnng area.

Confortable room, great staff, very friendly and helpful. The complimentary snacks were also a great bônus. Shower was also good.

The bathroom was not very clean, but for índian standards was not the worst.

Maneesh is a very helpful manager and he was always available whenever we needed. The room we got looking onto the main street was spacious and comfortable

Most staff doesnt speak good english. Some of the rooms look onto a temple which means it is impossible to sleep after 7.30am

Location was a little off the main road which posed alme difficulty in getting in, however stay was very comfortable

Attention to detail could have been a bit better. Towels, toiletries and water weren't replaced after night 1 cleaning

I stayed solo at Vedas Tapovan for few days and then with friends for a day. Great location and at a walkable distance from Lakshman Jhula. Top notch service and assistance provided by Manish ji, Himanshu and others. Rooms are clean and neat in general. Wifi is decent. Good cafe with decent options in food. Especially liked the parathas served. Value for money. Would definitely recommend to others. Thanks for hosting me.
