Room was of very good size and had all the amenities expected at a 5 star hotel like Radisson Temple Bay. The property has a large meandering pool and an infinity pool. The landscaping was also very green and soothing to the eyes. The breakfast spread was also quite elaborate and we had a good time with the band playing at the restaurant in the evening at dinner when we had an Ala Carte meal.

The high tea was a disappointment. It raised expectations and had only a couple of snacks - which also were not of good quality. No where in line with the Radisson brand or 5 star standard. There should be proper tea/ coffee cups and cutlery and a choice of a few veg and non-veg snacks of good quality.

The time for check in and check out. The inflexibility in terms of rooms when we have a pet with us. The cost was way too much. The rules regarding pets are way too strict and undefined. The security staff wouldn't even allow the dogs to be walked with on the walkways on campus. The check in data was not readily available inspite of the booking done online. Besides booking.com does not give flexibility to modify rooms after a booking is made. I had to cancel and rebook every time.

Everything was exceptional - the room, view of the sea, beach, the property itself including the play area, heritage lobby, pools, restaurant , the giant chess board - all facilities were exceptional! Service was top notch- starting with reception and billing (Rahul and everyone who gave us such a warm welcome), Arup of housekeeping, Suresh (buggies), Magesh( travel desk), Ganesh and Jayakumar (drivers), everyone at restaurant, even the gardeners were epitomes of service excellence. Cannot rave enough about the food - best food we’ve had across properties.. buffet is excellent so was in room/a la carte dining. Location is perfect to visit all the Heritage sites. The kids had a blast and so did we. it was a vacation to remember.

We stayed in the Villa with Pool and it was an excellent experience. The villa is spacious with 2 rooms + 2 baths + private swimming pool. The swimming pool was clean and was of a good size with water pumps. Kids enjoyed the pool to a great extent. The master bedroom has a bath with a Jacuzzi with a roofless setup. It has natural light coming from the top with coconut trees around but also has privacy. The breakfast is a big spread with south, north Indian and continental. The breakfast place is pretty big. Even during a long weekend, we could get seats easily for 4 without much trouble. The night dinner buffer was decent. It was not out of the world but good. There is a restaurant called Wharf 2.0 which is by the beach. It had great ambiance for dinner and food was awesome. In Room dining and all other services were good and the staff courteous and helpful. The property is huge and if you are fitness conscious you will enjoy the long walks and runs within the property. The access to beach is well maintained with chairs to sit down by the beach and catch some fresh air. The common swimming pool is again huge.

The activities in particular were too good. The variety of options was a welcome surprise. We tried a lot of things. The acticity directors too were very friendly and helped us out a lot. Ms.Ankita in particular was a delight. The pool is the best in chennai i have been to so far. The staff is very courteous. The buffet spread was lavish. The rooms are really prettt with a great view. The service is really commendable. The perfect option for a couole who wants to relax and have fun doing different things at the same time. Definitely a must stay.

The food at the wharf could have been better. It wasnt up to the mark. The pasta and achari paneer tikka was very bland. But again, the staff was very courteous and helpful. And the bathrooms in the rooms were pretty small. And the ac wasnt working properly during the night.

Stay was wonderful and there are lots of trees and open spaces which keeps the place cool compared to outside. Kartik and Gourav from the restaurants were very helpful. Always ready to help. House keeping staff were very good too. Swimming pools was good but requires more cleaning. Beach is so accessible from the property and was clean. Food was amazing but pricey. My kid loved the property and the food. All tourist places was nearby.

Staff at front desk for checkout need training on billing as they were not efficient and gave wrong bill twice.

A massive resort of 45 plus acres! There were golf buggies to ferry you around, but if you didn't get one, then it meant very long walks, depending on where you wanted to go. A beautiful 220 metre pool! Lovely spacious room, with an amazing outdoor shower! There are bicycles to hire and because of the size of the resort, makes it perfect riding about. Most of the staff were very pleasant and friendly. A great beachside restaurant too, but food prices slightly on the higher side compared to the other hotels we stayed at on our India trip. The location is perfect for exploring the ancient temples in the town. The Hi-tea in the afternoon was very welcome!

Resort is tired looking in quite a few areas. The infinity pool by the beach wasn't clean, tiles were dirty. The golf chip and putt course was overgrown. Because the resort is so large, some areas are being neglected. The poolside bar at the large pool wasn't operational either. There were empty water feature pools dotted around the resort, with fountains not working, etc. I am sure they have seen better days. Although right on the beach, there is alot of rubbish and plastic on the beach.

Beautiful nature all around. The seaview vila where i stayed was gorgeous. Beautiful and very spacious interior with modern amenities. Friendly staff.

Could improve on the privacy part as there is a walk way right in front of the window with the sea view and there are people contantly walking. Initially i was given a much older vila and i had to negotiate with the duty manager to move to a newer, renovated one. It was a night and day difference....

This is my 3rd visit to Radisson/GRT Temple Bay, and i have been delighted every time. The property is well located next to the beach, with direct access to a stretch that isnt crowded. It is spread lavishly, boasting of South Asia's largest swimming pool. Very clean pool and never crowded. Breakfast buffet is generous, and all items delicious! This is a great option for a weekend getaway from either Bangalore or Chennai, highly recommended.

Everything was well organized and well taken care of, the rooms were good size to easily fit 4 adults. The infinity pool was well maintained and the breakfast buffet had good choice of food. Spa was exceptional and worth every penny.

We all thought the dinner buffet could have had more local food choices and seafood variety. We didn't feel it was worth the money.
