This hotel is beyond expectation! It is perfectly located near Ketapang harbour..I stayed here for transit before continued our family-roadtrip to Bali. The first thing impressed me was the hotel lobby and hotel room interior, it is more beautiful than I’ve seen in pictures. I also appreciate the friendliness of the frontdesk team, and the pool team, you guys done a great job! The swimming pool has a very beautiful view, my kids had their great pool-time there. The bedroom is spacious, with a bed fits a family of 4 like me (I stayed with 2 kids under 9). So it’s worth the price and I’m happy.

Illira is a modern hotel with comfortable rooms, nice views over the forest towards the volcano or the sea, and a good base to explore some of the attractions around the Banyuwangi area. Staff were helpful and it was overall a smooth experience. For early check in there is an extra charge, though they did allow us to leave our luggage securely at no extra cost after check-out.

We had a scooter that we rented right by the train station so getting around was easy, though otherwise it is a little outside the Banyuwangi city centre.

The rooms are clean and well maintained, the staff is amazing and always friendly. My wife was sick and the staff brought her complimentary thee . Everyone is friendly and helpful all the time. Great hotel with nice staff, clean and large rooms, beautiful pool, nice breakfast and so on! So absolutely a great value for money! A great touch was that the hotel doesnt provide plastic water bottles but you can fill up on cold water at a filtered water station. Shower was perfect and bathroom was clean and well maintained.

Very cool that there is a gym, only negative point is the non-functioning treadmill and the gym could be better equipped.

We love everything from this hotel. Plenty of light in the room, view from the balcony was great, and their food, not many options, but are delicious. I enjoyed most of my time on breakfast time, sipping coffee and seeing the landscape from the distance. I have no complaints. Services also excellent, we rent motorbikes during our stay and their staff treat us the same as other guests who maybe brought their car.

Fantastic value at a near new hotel with infinity pool and amazing views. An amazing experience to stand at back end of 11th floor and listen to mosques calling to prayer at sunset. Infinity pool is great. Place is very quiet so guess that is why such insane value for money. Breakfast was reasonable and the rooms were really big, comfy bed and spotless clean.

Location is a bit out of town but that gets you great views. But a Grab to central area is only $2.

1. Location, views. The property is sandwiched between the Sea on one side and mountains on the other. Views from higher floors is simply incredible. 2. Staff attitude - extremely helpful across the board - Front Office, F&B and even kitchen. 3. Variety of good offerings at a fairly reasonable price. Wish we could have stayed a bit more to experience the offerings.

Quality of some amenities like the shaving kit could improve. Other than that can't think of anything.

The hotel is more suitable for events or weddings rather than the holiday traveler. The breakfast price is really expensive. Worse their laundry service is really overpriced. It is itemized service rather than per kilo or bag. With 35,000 Rp can buy a new shirt rather washing one. Very poor sound insulation, someone decided to recite the Quran at night and all rooms could hear him.
