We loved the large pool close to the beach. Bar area was nice. Villa was clean and comfortable and private. The grounds were clean and ideal for morning yoga and meditation. Breakfast buffet was very good. Nice mix of tourists from all over the world.

Location was a little far from the city center and not any food options close to the hotel other than the hotel itself. Staff were masked the whole time which created a feeling of separation from the guests. Hotel food was so-so. Not great and quite slow. Guests had to approach staff for poolside service. Staff did not tend well to the pool guests.

The perfect place from where to explore the wonderful Banyuwanji area, a stone's throw from Ijen, boat tours to Menjangan Island and many other fantastic places. The hotel is an oasis of calm and serenity in the middle of a beautiful and lush palms plantation facing the Bali strait. The rooms are beautiful, large, extremely clean and tastefully furnished and provide all the comforts. There is also a very nice restaurant where you'll be able to enjoy local (and international) delicacies straight on the ocean. The swimming pool is fantastic and offer incredible views on the strait. The staff is super professional and friendly.

The garden with the palm trees and trees is just stunning! The pool is nice and an excellent experience with low flying bets during sunset. Nice music. The balcony of the room with garden view has beach view too. Rich selection at the breakfast buffet. Nice and friendly staff. The rooms are quiet whereas some cottages on the South side have the sound of the call for prayers from a nearby mosque and some in the centre the loud ventilation noise of the kitchen.

The air condition did not work properly. After an attempt to repair by the staff, there was no change. Hot water was only lukewarm. As there is a shortage of hangers, best to hang the towel outside where they don’t drey though (high humidity). The black sand beach has potential. A lot of plastic is there and swimming is not allowed due to strong currents. If a part close to the shore is fenced with a net, that could give swimmers the opportunity to dive into sea water without reaching the currents and being annoyed by plastic.

We needed a short break during an active tour of Java with frequent waking up before dawn. The hotel met our expectations perfectly. It is beautifully situated among palm trees, by the sea overlooking Bali. Great swimming pool and pool bar, very good food in the restaurant. Rooms clean and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff.

We had a not so good experience with a shared-tour to Ijen organized from the hotel. We left the hotel in 2 people, picking up people from other hotels along the way. In the end we went as part of a very large group, probably 15 people if not more, with poor organization, constantly having to wait for someone, barely made it to breakfast (although we know the hotel was ready with a breakfast box just in case, which we appreciate) .

lovely resort for relaxation. The garden with its tropical plants and palm trees is amazing, as is the pool. A tasty and varied Breakfast is served next to the seaside too. The cottage's furniture was already a bit dated, but very clean and neat, wouldn't mind. The staff members were all very helpful and friendly

Only downside is the beach, which is not maintained and therefore full of trash. Due to the currents swimming is not possible, however it would be still nice for a walk if it was clean.

- staff seemed too many and very disorganized - it took ages to get appointment for a massage, ask about how to simply turn on the light on the balcony or request breakfast box, they redirected me from restaurant/housekeeping to reception and back, please simplify it and improve communication between the departments - they played very nice, quiet music at the pool in the morning, but then changed it to the dangdut (local disco) and started having fun loudly (singing etc) as soon as some guests left - not so professional, couldn't enjoy the atmosphere anymore - rooms were quite small, hot water in the shower took way too long for this standard of hotel, strong blue light of the router made the whole room so bright at night

Comfortable, swanky resort in Banyuwangi, about 5 minutes car ride away from Ketapang station and about 8 minutes from the ferry terminal that takes you to Bali. Decent-sized, comfortable rooms with good Wifi. The washroom was clean and the hot shower was excellent and relaxing. The best part is you have access to the beach, though it's a black sand beach, and not the cleanest. The breeze is cool and there is a boardwalk as well. There's a pool with a bar as well as a nice beach-facing restaurant with excellent dinner options (both Western & Indonesian).

It is a large and new complex in very good condition. The travel from Jawa to Bali was taking to much time and we needed a nice hotel to stay for 1 night. We were very happy to find this hotel very close to the harbour. There is a nice restaurant and we had a very good breakfast. Staff in restaurant is very nice.

The check in took a long time and the staff (3 people) were only looking down to their screen. It felt like something was wrong and not very friendly.

Every body sits down to breakfast but no body sits down to dinner. This situation needs to be addressed in a mutually financial way for Hotel and customers alike. I'd ask the customers what they want and give to them .

We needed speedy medical advice Where is the nearest pharmacy? how do we find our way there? is it open? what time does it close? I think the staff should be well-versed in what to do in a medical situation for the well-being of their guests

Breakfast were lovely with amazing view. The view from the bedroom was breath taking, wish we could stay longer. I booked for 2 nights initially but had to make it shorter.

We had to pay extra to get 2 rooms next to each other, becareful when booking more than one room, make sure they are the same room type, otherwise it could be in different building.
