Soundproof and cool. As there is a mosque 🕌 on this small island- it was great that the building is made out of concrete - ceiling too- so the 4am call to prayer and the many roosters crowing from same time- didn’t wake us. The ocean is right out front and awesome place to cool off and snorkel when the tide is in. Easy to get around the island using rented bicycles organised by villa manager. Plenty of restaurants and cafes in easy walk or ride

The property doesn’t have a garden big enough to do yoga in and needs more shade and plants out front. It also lacks shade on the upstairs balcony - you can only use it once the sun is going down about 4pm as it’s too hot to sit there during the day.

Everything!! There few types of rooms arrangement. You email them and get be understanding on how the room arrangements are and if it suits you. The owner and the manager is really responsive. We were greeted by the manager Yuyun, who is very helpful and very kind to help us settled in. The view from the balcony is everything I could ask for. This side of the island is sunrise view. So please do wake up early to enjoy the moment. The property is very clean and neat. The bed is very comfortable and this is a downside cause I couldn’t wake up early for sunrise view 😝 I hope the service and the property stay consistent with this appearance. Cause i will definitely will come back again. 🫶🏼

The toilet and shower in both rooms dont have doors and a bit too open for me and my family haha. Just ensure that you share the room with person that you’re comfortable with so that no awkward moments where they can see you doing your business 😝 The location also a bit further away from the harbour. You need to take Cidomo (the horse transport) if you have luggage and stuff. I decided to walk and it took me 20mins to reach harbour. But with this distance from harbour, you get the peace that you wanted. 🩵 ohh do not forget, right in front of the apartment is the turtle point. I saw 2 turtles, a lot of fish and beautiful corals right in front of the apartment.

Amazing location right in front of the beach. Plenty of space in each room. Lots of restaurants and bars around. They cleaned every day, but they were very flexible with our own schedule, which was great too.

Sometimes it became a bit noisy, not from the street actually, but from the apartment(s) downstairs: slamming doors, people coming in and out, etc.

We were a group of 8 so the entitehouse was ours. The location- just on the seashore...at sunrise point, the interior design - cool white, the staff - manager Yunyun was ready to extend support.

1. It's on the seashore and not a beach - we can't swim in the waters due to lot of corals. 2. The toilet in the apartment doesnt have a door...better to have for hygiene also.

Cabana is exceptional! We stayed here for two nights during August 2022 and wish we had booked for longer. It is located on the eastern side of the island and perfectly situated for both an amazing sunrise and sunset. The terrace is superb which directly overlooks the beach and sea. The interior of the apartment is incredibly spacious, clean and beautifully furnished and designed. The host and manager is extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. She showed such kindness to us, and in particular our daughter, who was poorly during our stay. She facilitated our rental of bikes enabling us to explore the beautiful island of Gili Air! Perfectly situated next to the wonderful restaurant called Sedjiwa proving delicious food and drinks throughout the day. Thanks to Jay for looking after us so well and for delivering us food to enjoy on our terrace. We cannot recommend Cabana and Gili Air enough! It really is a little piece of paradise!

The sea infront of the building, the supportive sun of the landlord, who was honestly interested and friendly.

The toilet situation. I tried to organize a scooter rental on Lombok via the landlord and the price/day was definitely too high. That was a dodgy surprise! Highly recommend to use google and search for your own.

The host, yuyun was the best she was so incredibly nice. She arranged everything for us from bikes, to snorkel trip to a speedboat to bangsal harbour. The sunrise is right in front of your door over Lombok island. A must see! She is working amazing hard for her kids. We Will for sure be back one day!

Toilet is separate but no problem at all!

Everything you need was in the Appartment; drinkwater, amazing view, helpful and very responsive staff, clean, great shower, all items you need if you like to cook, good food nearby, snorkeling infront, sunrise and so much more…

The echo in the bedrooms was the only thing. A curtain, large painting or plant can solve this.

-the open bathroom just outside the room -the beach right outside the front door -the view at sunrise -the clean room and comfy bed

A bidet at the toilet would be nice :-)

I highly recommend Cabana. In particular the staff was incredible kind and helpful with our every question/ request! Additionally the place was immaculate. The staff thouroughly cleaned the space and our room everyday.

The one suggestion is improving the wifi connection so it can reach the guest rooms. But overall this was not a big deal.
