I would recommend the banana pancakes as they are very very nice. But also try their special omelette. You can choose the Lombok coffee or 'normal coffee' both options are very good. The watermelon juice is beyond perfect as in some accommodations they add water. As they have four private bungalows it feels like being at home. The staff does add to the overall holiday experience by being attentive, friendly and informative. They make you feel at home and family. As we had to leave earlier than the public boat schedule allowed they arranged pick-up from the beach. Magic !

The room itself was clean spacious and private. There was always staff there who were helpful when asked.

There were times when I felt like the staff members either didn't understand what I was saying or didn't know how to respond to my requests. I didn't feel comfortable or welcomed right off the bat upon arrival. The location was also pretty remote, far away from the harbour and the statues.

We loved our stay here! The staff are incredibly hospitable, the included breakfast is delicious and has good options, the orange juice is *just what you need* on a hot day, the beach is just around the corner and the resort had beach chairs you can use here, the turtle beach is a few minutes walk away, lots of nice food and drink places nearby. We walked from the port cause it wasn't that far, but we took a horsey back. The shower was salt water for the first few days, but we were pre warned, and fresh water arrived after a couple of days, which they kept us updated on.

The sliding door to the room was quite difficult to open.

Villa Samalas exceeded our expectations. The location is amazing, the little bungalows are spacious and well equipped, and the location very close to the beach couldn't be better. Moreover, the personal is extremely friendly and we felt that they tried everything to make our stay great. There were two things that I was a bit worried about reading about them in other reviews: breakfast and internet. However, both turned out to be great. Internet was working perfectly well while we were there. Also, we really liked the included breakfast. Yes, you get exactly one juice, one hot beverage, one dish and fruits, but we always felt that it was more than enough and it was delicious.

Nothing really. Only thing you should be aware of is that you can't really shade the room from the morning sun. It will be somewhat bright even if you use the indoor curtains and outdoor shades, but that was not a problem for us.

Amazing place! With only 4 walled for privacy villas, we had great place to stay and recharge for 5 days... Designer rooms, great bed, plenty of place to pack, good wifi, minifridge and complementary water. Own, very private garden and patio. Great breakfast options. Friendly staff. In a few steps from the shore with designated sunbeds and matrasses. All excursions and trips can be booked at reception. (I found worth to get a horse cart to get from the port to the Villa as it is a 20 min walk possibly with your luggage in 30+ degrees) I hope to go back to spend more time in this oasis :)

Couple of hooks in the room and a shelf to keep shower accessories next to the shower would be good. Nothing major...

Villa Samalas is perfect, with an amazing location and such kind, helpful staff. The room is really nice and we like that you have a private garden area, which makes it easy to leave sandy clothes and shoes out to dry. The breakfast and food at the restaurant was delicious. All the staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They all made us feel so welcome. Snorkeling here is amazing! It's easy to get out to the reef right from the beach and we saw so many turtles and beautiful fish. We cannot recommend this place enough and hope we can return!

Amazing and private place to stay, we even extended our stay as we liked the place and the island so much, would definitely come back again! It has only 4 private villas with the garden, so very peacful and relaxing. Best beach in the island where you can see turtles and even (safe) baby sharks if you are lucky, vey good place for snorkeling. Walking distance from the "centre" or you can rent a bicycle if you want. Everything as on the pictures and promised! Amazing and very helpful staff, always there for you if needed, big greetings to Ali and the masterchef, breakfast really really good! If you are looking for piece, quite and relax, look no more, definitely recommended!

Everything was good, yes, it does not have blockout curtains at the moment, but the good side from that you can start your day early and get the most from it!

Wonderful private rooms, each with their own secluded garden for complete privacy. The real highlight of our stay were the staff - they were always present with a smile and keen to chat about your plans for the day and provide recommendations as needed. We will definitely stay again should we come back to Gili Meno. Thanks to Ali, Opin and Iwan. The breakfast was simple but delicious and more than enough. The rooms were very clean, comfortable bed and great shower and very quiet throughout the night. One of our best stays while in Indonesia.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful place Villa Samalas in Gili Meno, where the very friendly staff made me feel incredibly welcome. The bungalows were nice, and there was a small restaurant, as well as a good and quiet beach. Everything lived up to the expectations one would have for a vacation. The wifi worked very well in the room. I would highly recommend this place and would love to visit again. Thank you!
