Pondok Sari Kuta

Stayed there for 3 nights with family. I loved it. Very clean, staff is very helpful and responded right away for our requests or concerns, the pool is nice. Located in a quiet area. There are a couple little kiosks at the front and a little traditional kiosk selling fresh fruit. There’s a kettle and minibar but no water bottle inside room. instead, they have a water dispenser at the reception that you can fill up your own bottle or mug with hot or cold water anytime, which I prefer that way. so no issue with drinking water. Breakfast is very basic, you need to order fried rice a day before. Need to be self sufficient with food. You can either walk 150m to the main road where there are plenty of restaurants and warung or use Go Food or Grab services. We rented a car and we were allowed to park on next door car park as the hotel does not have a car park.

Breakfast can be a little bit better. Nasi goreng was nice but you need to order the day before. Toast, hash brown and omelette were served cold. They may need serve it immediately as soon as it’s cooked instead of trying to serve everyone at the same time, which is impossible to keep the food warm since the kitchen is small and very basic. I still ate them coz I was hungry 😄

The staff was great, they were so flexible and helpful, I cannot leave a cooment without mentioning Kandi and Selly, for their support. We are very grateful for them. We booked a queen or king bed and due to availability they only had a twin room available, and they immediately changed it to a king size bed, it worked well for the night. Not only that, we booked our flight for later that day, and the staff allowed us to keep the bags at the locker room and have a shower before departing, that was a tremendous support as we were not expecting to do so that way. The swimming pool is great and the rooms are also good for the location.

Small but very neatly maintained . Good people . Very accessible to all areas . Value for money .

The way to the hotel is scary through small roads felt like going to a slum. We got 1st floor rooms and there was no lift. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but the Grab application was so good that all the food reached in no time.

One of the best hotels I've stayed at! Was a great little retreat for a few days. The staff were all unbelievable, so sweet and kind and always wanting a chat. The rooms were spacious and super clean too, and the beds were so soft!! Was so nice to just lounge by the pool during the day on the sun chairs. Will definitely be back if I'm ever in Bali again

The sink in the first room was broken on arrival, so we immediately got a new room. The pool is refreshing. The garden is well cared for. The room is comfy. The staff seems polite and friendly. The security guard is super friendly and helpful. He gave us tips and how to take the best route in kuta and he speaks English very well.

The room didn't have any windows so it was badly ventilated and a bit moist. The hotel offered me transport to the airport for 200k (I haggled it to 150k), where a grab/Uber would cost 30k+10k for airport parking. So they really try to make profit from customers instead of helping them to get a fair price. The breakfast is very very simple (no choices, no fruits, no juice).

Excellent value for money, lovely little hotel. Very pretty pool and gardens gave a weary traveller a tranquil and inviting reception. Great location close to everything, very comfortable stay thank you!

I didn't realise there was no window in the room when booking. But the room had aircon so not a big deal.

Sunshine Vintage House is a nice place. The dorm is clean, tidy, and cozy. Sunshine Vintage House is located in a lane full of traditional Hindu houses. TutNick and his family are very hospitable and helpful. We arrived there almost midnight, but TutNick went to main road to pick us up and lead us to his place. He met all our requirements. Our family of 9 people had a great time in Sunshine Vintage House. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends. Terima kasih banyak dan sampai jumpa.

Unfortunately no windows so the room can get a bit damp and smelly from the bathroom. Definitely not a big deal though.

We really enjoyed our stay at Pondok Sari Kuta. Has a big room and a really decent swimming pool which was perfect for us as we just landed in the afternoon. The main streets with restaurants weren't far at all, so it was a really good hotel for us. There was kettle in the room with coffee and tea. They don't provide breakfast now, but maybe they will do soon.
