Having recently stayed at this central yet secluded hotel, Rama Gardens exceeded my expectations in every way. The staff are very friendly and make time to chat and get to know their guests. Nothing is an issue and they go out of their way to make your stay a memorable one. Location is ideal, two steps and a jump away from Garlic Lane, very central & walking distance to the beach. Pool area is lovely with its well manicured gardens and positioned perfectly to receive ample sun throughout the day for sun lovers. Restaurant attached to hotel is street facing and offers a great menu selection to cater for all foodie lovers, with seafood a specialty. The rooms are super spacious and bathroom grand, with an extra large shower. Room very clean with a luxuriously comfy bed. Looking forward to my next stay, now appointed my home away from home when in Bali. My only disappointment is that I didn't stay here sooner. Highly recommend❤️

Great location, friendly staff, comfortable bed. Cable TV. Breakfast was really good, great coffee. The pool looked good although we never used it. Pool lounges were reserved daily by the entitled, that was the only downside to our stay.

Pool lounges were reserved early each day, even if not used for hours. Maybe the staff could implement a cut off reservation time for an unused, reserved lounge. 30 minutes and it's up for use by someone else. I don't expect this if people are in the pool, but if they are not there.

Need to have a policy in place that you can’t save sun beds if you’re away from them. We had people leaving towels and belongings for hours then taking up beds all day everyday. Not fair.

The staff are amazing, nothing is to much trouble. They all remember from a previous visit and warmly welcomed me back. Bring a solo female traveller I felt extremely safe. The pool is beautiful and extremely well maintained. The rooms are beautiful, spotless and most comfortable beds and pillows. The gardens are beautiful, plenty of sun beds around the pool. The 2 times I have stayed it has been very peaceful no moody children in the pool. Every room overlooks the pool. Fantastic central location.Food in the restaurant very nice. Live music playing most nights. Each time I left to go out the staff enquired where I was off to. I found this very comforting that someone knew my movements each day. 10/10 for me 😊

Excellent value for money. Tied with a restaurant with great food. Room service and beers delivered quickly and charge to the room. Breaky was cheap and they made pancakes for a daughter. Very friendly family feeling people.

No real complains. The cot provided was too high and our kid could get out of it. it was free of charge so no real issue. It probably wasn't the most ideal place with a two year old, but for the price we were were very very happy. It was a little tricky getting out of the cab as there isn't really much parking space out the front.

All staff were very friendly. Hotels in a great location. Was given 6pm late check out for a very reasonable price. The rooms are lovely. Pool was cool which was a nice change from other hotels we have stayed out. Restaurant is really good. Bed is amazing. We have stayed in 3-5 star and this was the best bed by far.

I didn’t like the fact that other people staying at the pool would claim a deck chair in the morning and leave the pool area. Which meant all 12 deck chairs were gone with four people in the pool. The sign clearly says if you leave the chair for 30 min it is available to someone else. But that’s not on the hotel it’s on the tourists. Seems to be a regular complaint for this hotel from other reviews.

Everything, mostly over 50 very quite, If you want the party scene this place is not for you. Not suited for children.

Good location, small family friendly hotel. Having the restaurant as part of the hotel is great. Got to know a couple of the staff well, Rudy top bloke. They look after you, seafood is top notch and my favourite Mei Goreng is served here. There was a noisy kid in the pool, but Meh it was my mates kid so what can you do...Lol.

Pool a little warm and rooms need curtains as too much light gets in.

The staff both at the hotel and in the restaurant are AMAZING! Cannot do enough for guests to ensure their stay is the best it can possibly be. Location is spot on, so close to everything you could want or need.

Amount of families and children. Have stayed here previously and it was so quiet with just adults and couples quietly enjoying the facilities. This trip, we were amazed at how many children were there and a couple of them were incredibly noisy and the parents did not seem to understand that there were other guests staying at the hotel that would also like to enjoy the pool and pool lounges in a more quiet and relaxing manner. With so many resorts and hotels designed for families and that have children's pools, kids clubs etc, I've no idea why a family why a family with children would choose such a lovely, boutique hotel.
