kids were annoying, entertainment at the pool should be limited to kids and lagoon pool area. big pool should be adults only. the small adult pool was the worst pool of the hotel . no chargeable minibar available

This hotel was an amazing find and by far the best hotel we have ever stayed in. We booked into the Padma last minute for 4 nights and had the most amazing stay. So much so that after leaving for another (pre-booked) hotel, which was also 5*, we soon made the decision to lose the money on that hotel and return to the padma for our final 3 nights in Bali. Wonderful pools and facilities, great breakfast and hotel food, lovely staff, fun hotel activities, stunning hotel grounds. On both occasions we were offered a free upgrade, which was very much appreciated. Location of the hotel is perfect. Right on the Legian beach. As soon as you walk out of the front door, there are many places to eat and drink. Locals are really friendly. I would highly recommend eating at ‘Fresco’ just across the road, high quality food and lovely staff. We had lots of fun learning Archery with Wawan, Ari & Bagus. We also took part in yoga, bingo, water aerobics, table tennis & pool games. Many friendly staff throughout the resort, but special mention to Widi in the Delhi restaurant and Sanjaya at the pool. Staff at the Padma make your stay feel extra special. This is a truly amazing hotel and I hope to one day make the journey from the UK to stay here again.

Everything about the resort is excellent, the staff, pools, bars, rooms, location and all the facilities. The buffet breakfast is probably the best I have experienced at a hotel..

The Spa was a bit too expensive and the services no better than cheaper options outside the resort.

Breakfast, gym, departure lounge. Morning cycles, prefer a better organised aqua class of at least 45 minutes.

Night offerings. Needed a decent bar with the same atmosphere as the three swim up bars during the day. A wider choice of menu was needed, not paying a lot when we only wanted a little. Consider the people you get at the pools during the day, that looks really good! But then you try to do too much in the evening and charge too much. Your neighbour in Mozzarella has better value food, reasonable variety and better entertainment

Padma resort is excellent and fortunately we were upgraded to a Junior Suite, especially for the price we paid. Great choice of pools to select from and enjoy an early morning swim. Plenty of variety for breakfast.

In future I will never book through booking.com as the advertised price is not the final price and was extremely misleading when the final cost was debited. Better off booking directly with the hotel and you receive more benefits from Padma. After discussion with Reception on the price charged they explained booking.com procedures and were kind to upgrade us.

Great resort with everything you need. 3 pools (one which is perfect for the kids, a main pool, and an adults only infinity pool), a variety of good restaurants, beautiful grounds, and the buffet breakfast was delicious. The rooms were clean and quiet, we didn't hear any noise from neighbouring rooms or people walking past. We're a family with a 2 year old, so we spent a lot of time at the resort. The location is good, not as busy as Seminyak or Kuta, but still plenty around and easy to get to places. Also, right next to the beach. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. Overall, a great experience. We'll be back again.

I wanted to check out the spa, it looks amazing but was pretty pricey compared to everything else around. Although cheaper than back home, it was hard to justify when there were plenty of nice massage places nearby for a quarter of the price. Maybe next time.

The hotel is very big with four pools and restaurants. Its very spacious.The breakfast is extraordinary. The staff is mostly friendly and giving its best to satisfy your needs.

The pool areas were very crowded and the longchairs around very close to each other. The children pool is in the last corner of the hotel, „far“ away from the beach. There are no longchairs at the beach or area that belong to the hotel. Massage, laundry service and travel service cost six times as much as outside of the hotel.

Room was comfortable, although older Balinese style, which is throughout the resort. Breakfast had huge choice, and poolside food and drink service was prompt. Special mention to Pk Sukadana, who worked afternnons/evenings on the transport desk. He was fantastic at co-ordinating cars and taxis. He seemed to be able to get you a taxi and arrange a car transport at all times. Very impressive.

The use of a microphone with pool activities in the main pool was very annoying. It was so loud, and no regard for the guests who had no interest in being a part of it, and it disturbed everyone else.
