The service was impeccable, the staff were so kind and friendly and always willing to help out. The room was exceptional, the ocean views were amazing and sounds of the waves crashing at night put us to sleep. It was relaxing to sit on the balcony and meditate do yoga or read a book. The room had a big bathroom and bath which was awesome and the room was always cleaned promptly by the amazing staff. The restaurant's food was really tasty and fresh and we loved the variety. We will definitely be returning here again !

Nothing that we didn't like everything was perfect!

From the minute we stepped foot into this wonderful hotel we knew it was going to be a perfect holiday. After a long, long travel we were greeted with huge smiles, a cold refreshing towel and a much needed welcome drink. Our room was very spacious, very clean and the bed was super comfortable. The Breakfast included was excellent, fresh juice, coffee and good size portions of food. Being right on the surf was the reason for booking this hotel and it did not disappoint. 2 weeks of wonderful waves just a few steps away. One of us is not a surfer but chilling by the pool, watching the surfers, going for walks, and exploring the local area on a moped was enough to make it a special holiday for both of us. All of the things mentioned above were huge factors in loving this hotel, but without a doubt it is the amazing team that really made our stay perfect. Everyone was knowledgeable, professional, friendly and fun and it was a real pleasure getting to know them all. Thank you guys for everything :-)

Nothing, it was all perfect.

We loved everything from the moment we stepped through the entry where we were met with the most friendly & professional smiling staff. This resort is stunning and we were immediately thrilled to be there. The dining area is open, alfresco, clean and super comfortable. The service is exceptional and the food was fantastic. We had no reason to go anywhere else. The pool is straight out of a postcard - a gorgeous infinity pool where you can comfortably lay all day long watching your family surf - the break is right in front of the resort. The pool is on the smaller side but is deep and I never once felt crowded. Floating in the pool bean-bags watching the day drift by remains the pinnacle of my whole Bali holiday. The rooms took our breath away. They're huge, spacious and super clean. The bed and pillows were more comfortable than any bed I've ever slept in - including my own at home. The bathroom was massive with a huge bath and well appointed robes, slippers, safe and toiletries. There's even a private outdoor verandah with comfortable seating off each room (we stayed downstairs). I can't fault this place. We were planning our return as soon as we arrived. I'd like to mention and recommend Ellie - a local massage therapist who came to our room to treat us. Not only is she a beautiful soul but a fantastic massage therapist if you like firm traditional Balinese massage. *We did go for a walk through the town and along the shore to the fishing boats but I assure you will want for nothing in the resort.

There is nothing we didn't like about Bombora Medewi Resort. The only thing I would mention was on the last night there was a bit of noise that kept me awake due to painters working through the night to touch up some paint work on the resort. I doubt that would happen very often and I'm a light sleeper. But they were a bit rowdy.

It's one of those hotels that when you arrive, you can't believe the location. It's right on the point break and the infinity pool has the best view of the surf. We stayed for 5 nights and honestly by day 3 we didn't really leave the hotel, it had everything we needed. Even though it was fully booked, it was never crowded in the restaurant or the pool area. The staff remembered our names, and Putu the barista made the best coffee every morning. The awesome gelato is a bonus! Our family room was perfect for 2 adults and 2 kids, and it opened onto an amazing balcony looking over the ocean. You went to sleep listening to the waves every night. There were yoga mats and exercise equipment on the balcony for use. One of those special stays that we'll be booking again.

We have recently returned from staying at this beautiful little boutique Lodge for four nights as a family of three. We stayed in the suite with private pool, and oh my gosh it was AMAZING, so roomy and with beautiful lounge, huge windows with beautiful wooden shutters opening onto a veranda. We were surrounded by amazing ocean views from all angles. Whilst I felt very spoilt staying in such a large suite I also felt it was a bit wasted on us as we had a eight-year-old who only wanted to swim in the main pool when he saw other children there. Because it was a small venue you felt like you were part of a family/ community apposed to being tourist. It was also easy for our 8 year old to make friends with other children as it wasn’t chaotic. I loved that it is a smaller older style boutique accommodation decorated in a beachy eclectic style. Beautiful wooden features. This lodge epitomises a beautiful chill beach vibe. We loved sitting in the bar restaurant overlooking the beautiful small pool and surf/ surfers. The food was lovely and there was a good choice available for breakfast. This is the first time in Medewi for us. We have fallen in love. By far this is our favourite accommodation and area we have stayed at in Bali so far. This is because it remains unpolished- you can explore the beaches, walk to the little local shops and chat to the locals all going about their normal daily lives- not a hawker in sight. Equally lovely were all the friendly staff. Thank you especially to Surpri and Kadek for making us feel so welcome and special. This place has all the right feels and vibes 😊

Minor but -the occasional waft of cigarette smoke coming into our bedroom window from one of the other rooms.

The hotel is set right on the beach, with the surf spot directly in front of the hotel. The pool is amazing. Its a small hotel with 12 rooms. We had a room with a Balcony overlooking the ocean. The ocean waves are constantly breaking and its a wondeful and relaxing atompshere. We got in room masssages on the balcony and it was like getting massages on the beach but with the comfort on having it in your room! I highly recommend if you want to go to Medewi!

There are no Non-smoking rooms. Its a small hotel with 12 rooms which we liked, but since nether my wife nor I are smokers, this was the only drawback to our stay.

Oh my goodness. Where do I start. We came to stay here for 2 nights for something special as it was my partner's 50th Birthday. 4 of us in total. The entire place and experience has exceeded anything we were expecting. 100 out of 10. Ian and all managers and staff at Bombora Medewi Wave Lodge could not have been more hospitable or caring if they tried. From the food, drinks, service, amenities, everything was 5 stars. All staff new all of our names which really gives that personal touch. The bed was the best bed I have ever slept in in Bali. The bathroom was amazing with a double shower with great pressure. All the smaller details just made my partner feel so special. The flower bath, flowers on the bed. They even set up a table and gorgeous flower display for us to use for our food and drinks on the deck. We will 100 per cent definitely will be back. Thank you again to Ian and all staff for the best stay ever!!!!!

All I can say is we didn't want to leave.

The staffs are awesome and always with a smile. They are always on top of things. Their service is tip-top. li can't find any fault in that. The bed is super comfortable. And the best part is the view - especially the sunset. I love the sound of the waves throughout the day and at night - it's so soothing.

I wish they have a dressing table in the room. It's a bit hard getting ready in the toilet as it's not bright enough and the bi-fold door towards the patio is a bit hard to open. The hair dryer is a bit too small. It would be nice to have a bigger/better hairdryer as it took me a long time to dry my hair with the one they had. Other than that, everything else is good

Bombora exceeded our expectations. The location was incredible - right on the point overlooking the surf break. It was so easy to grab your board and head out to the waves and upon your return, there were outdoor showers and surfboard racks to enable you to just move to the pool and chill. The food was exceptional, with daily specials and an awesome breakfast! The rooms were clean and well appointed and the beds - super comfy! The staff were warm and friendly and attended to our every need. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

A beautiful resort right on the beach. If you're here for surfing you can't get much better. The rooms were super comfy and the pool very relaxing.

Small things, the rooms have shutters rather than walls so it's a bit loud at night. But with ear plugs it's all good. The food was nice at the restaurant but a bit pricey, we recommend venturing out and going to the Rasta Cafe and Nals Kitchen.
