Great value for money. Small Hotel of about 30 rooms but clean and comfortable. We all slept well and the breakfast had a fair bit of choice. Pool is small and only catches morning sun but there was always a lounge there. The hotel has some lounges down on Sanur Beach for guest use - beach is about 400m away through the Prama Hotel.

Rooms had a bit of paint flaking in/near the bathrooms due to the humidity but thats pretty common. Look past that given the price you are paying.

Fabulous small boutique hotel in Sanur. Excellent friendly, caring & interested staff providing great service to their guests. Room was very comfortable & efficiently serviced daily. Breakfast menu provided various choices to start the day. Staff happy to engage in conversation & provide any assistance necessary. Location was excellent being surrounded by many warungs, cafes & bars along with spas & laundries. Easy walk to the beach & shopping precinct. Highly recommend & look forward to staying in the future.

Rooms were very dark, everyday we stayed we had to ask housekeeping to replace handtowels and facecloths - unsure why but it always seemed a bother for them to supply, tricky latch on bedroom door out to balcony, be careful as the latch hooked behind us and we were both stuck on the balcony!!!

Great location only a short walk to the beach where they have their own area with daybeds and umbrellas. We had a pool side room which had a bathroom with a little lush garden open to the fresh air. The pool is refreshing and the breakfast included was made to order. The staff were friendly and attentive. The on-site restaurant has great drinks specials and delicious meals and the hotel is just around the corner from a main Street with mini marts, shops and markets.

The checkin information could be better as we didn’t know until the day we left that they had a service to book drivers to popular places or for the whole day. Also receptionist could not tell us anything worth while seeing in close area or provide a local map.

Lovely rooms with very comfortable bed, good WiFi and beautiful bathroom. Very good price for pandemic and relatively close to the beach Staff was lovely and super friendly. I enjoyed their service

No big things. But I did book the hotel because I thought they had a big pool and it definitely looks a lot bigger on the photos than in reality. I am a swimmer but it really wasn't suitable for laps even though nobody else was using it. Very narrow and maybe around 8 meters long. A bit disappointed. The breakfast was ok for pandemic price, I am sure they have more sophisticated breakfast usually and I was surprised it was even included with the good price. They use glas bottles instead of plastic which is great. I knocked the bottle over trying to switch on the light in the morning. Staff cleaned it up in a snap. They charged me 5,000 for the bottle. Which is nothing. I don't mind but it came across as a bit cheap well weird.

Everything was absolutely amazing! The room was very comfortable, staff was very friendly and the hotel had great facilities such as restaurants in walking distance, pool, private area for hotel customers on Sanur beach. The pool view room was great and gave a true rainforest vibe!

I don't think there was anything that we didn't like. The only improvements that we could recommend are buffet breakfast and spa services. Adding these two will make Akana Hotel just like any other 5-start hotel.

The hotel was good. The room (pool access) was nice and clean. Huge bathroom however it was a bit hot in there as it was partly open. The staff were great too. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants on the south end. Baby Monkeys next door was popular with great food and cheap. A quiet location compared to the north side which we needed a taxi to get to. Taxi drivers were always available as they would stop at a local shop a few doors down. Overall a nice hotel.

The only negative would be the pool area - it didnt get much sun. Maybe only 2 sunbeds.

I loved its size. Nice, cozy and quiet. It’s very well kept and you get the feeling of being secluded from the outside world. Very lovely staff, great little restaurant. Free bikes for easy touring of the area, close to a variety of shops, restaurants and bars. This is very good value and only a very short walk to the beach. The room was constantly maintained keeping a fresh feel. I can’t express how much we loved this hotel and the entire experience created by the wonderful staff. Very highly recommended.

excellent location, super staff, nothing was a problem,met with a smile and a greeting from all of the staff. waitress service for breakfast rather than the usual buffer which was a refreshing change.

limited choices for breakfasts, many choices not available for the later customer. pool cold as it was often in the shade. staff always passing by you as their domestic storeroom was close to the pool, a bit of a busy highway at times.

I loved the pool area and landscaping, the decor in the rooms, the bathroom, breakfast was delicious and lunch & dinner were great too. It was a quiet street close to restaurants & shops and only a 5 minute walk to the beach for snorkeling and beach side bars. All the staff were very friendly & helpful.

The internet was a bit problematic and intermittent while we were there.
