Ari Putri Hotel

Balinese style Hotel located in the quieter southern end of Sanur. Exceeded my anticipated expectation. It was larger than I imagined with nice pool and gardens. It is not a resort as such, but provides most of the comforts required --- a very good 3 star in my opinion. Plenty of restaurants etc. out on the street and an excellent small supermarket about 300 metres away. About a 5 - 10 minute walk to the beach depending on which route you take. The room was comfortable with A/C and a fridge. TV with a few English speaking channels a bonus. I recommend and would stay here again

We stayed in both a standard room and a deluxe double and both were exceedingly good value for what you get. I know other reviews have griped about the breakfast but my husband and I thought it was good food for what you're paying. Both pools were warm and clean and the whole place just had a great feel. It's perfectly located for the beach and surrounding restaurants and beach clubs.

It needs some money invested in it but post-covid and given the prices you pay, it's not surprising it still looks a little tired in places, particularly the bathroom in the standard room. It was clean though and that's the main thing.

15min from airport, Quite rooms, aircon,safe,nice eating area. This is an older resort so bear in mind things are showing their age. They have their own coffee machine great coffee, Pool is warm.

People leave thier towels on the pool chairs claiming that chair all day even when thay have left for lunch. The hotel needs to tell people if you leave the chair for more than 15min the towels will be removed.

Loved the hotel , lovely Balinese style , clean, and had two lovely pools . Good breakfast

A lot of people stay in there 70's plus, and they seem to think they are the only quests staying there and were quite rude on a few occasions . I am not one that usually complains , but maybe if you are in your 50s or younger, it might not be the place for you

Oldish Balinese establishment and absolutely charming , the staff are perfect always polite and helpful, the rooms are (in the old part of the property) a bit tired but they are cleaned every day if you wish, clean laundry, mopped floors bed made up, fresh water nothing to complain about at all or maybe the lack of hot water sometimes! The restaurant is very good, as good or better than most in the area and very well priced there are two pools, the main one is always clean and the water Cristal clear , as with some of the rooms it is in need of a bit of work ! cracked tiles etc. breakfast is excellent but simple, choice of eggs cooked to order and plenty of fresh fruit toast jam waffles and more all buffet style. , without doubt the best value for money we have ever had, one last thing try the Pino colada’🙏🙏

Our first visit since 2019 due to Covid so we were very aware of what to expect staying at the Ari. Staff are always very pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast was more than adequate ...perhaps a couple of new lounges around the pool would be nice but we were more than happy with our stay. We are hoping to be able to access ground floor rooms next time as we had forgotten about the stairs !! and the impact on our knees. Restaurant was very amenable and good quality dining.

Having stayed there before we knew quite clearly what the Ari would offer us and it was as expected.

It's very close to many restaurants and the main street of Sanur. The Room service is great. Plus great restaurant. Beautiful garden area around the pool. Staff very lovely.

Lots of Steps up to the Breakfast area.... Plus LOTS of Steps if you're in a 2nd or 3rd storey room. I had to ask for a lower room, after my first night. Which I got. The pool is in a very nice Garden area, but it's REALLY WARM.... refreshing? NO. The bathroom needed a better scrub, I feel, than it was given. But do they have Jiff in Bali, not sure. The rooms are filled with very Dark wooden furniture. Look.... Its just a personal thing... I just like WHITE and lightness.

This Balinese looking hotel was in a pretty good location, approx 10 minutes walk to the beach. The pool area was lovely with all the bougainvillea providing shade for some of the lounges. And we had a nice balcony overlooking the pool area We dined here each night. The food was delicious and really reasonably priced, with no ++ taxes. Also had live music each night which was really nice, not too loud!

We had trouble with our handbasin, it didn't drain, but this was rectified quickly. There was a mouldy/musty smell in the bathroom. Breakfast was a bit basic.

The room was great, nice and quiet with a balcony overlooking the second pool. Plenty of power sockets, comfy bed, plenty of clean towels and regular room service. Service staff were really efficient and reliable - you never had to wonder what time your room would be serviced - usually done while you're at breakfast ..PERFECT!! Breakfast was good - wide variety of foods but not too crazy like the big hotels. Would like to see some yoghurt and granola on offer next time I stay :). The property has 2 pools, both well maintained and good size. Pool environments are diverse offering different lounge arrangements ...nice to have the options. The property restaurant serve great food, good variety and excellent quality ....all very reasonably priced. Also have live music (soloist) on a regular basis. Property location is perfect. one street back from the beach, short walk in either direction to activities, restaurants and shopping. Reception staff are lovely ...we look forward to our 3rd visit to the Ari Putri

Beautiful, well cared for garden, traditional architecture, old style spacious rooms. Breakfast was fine, but I'd love to see local Balinese coffee.

Facility is a little run down, especially on the third floor. I can cope with that, but I'd be more inclined to stay in future if they embraced a more eco-friendly approach. They'd save money and help the environment. I don't need fresh sheets and towels everyday. I do want to be able to refill my water bottle (staff said they couldn't) rather than add to the mountains of plastic waste and rubbish I see around. Get rid of the plastic, the mini toiletries etc. Investing in a water dispenser would be a good start. Just needs a bit of vision.
